I see you made incredible use of Power generation and spamming a mix of basic and support towers to cheese your way to a victory. Congrats on clearing the level! Regarding the score multiplier, it did apply, it's mentioning the multiplier you had to get to that point. We still need to clear up how that's displayed and works.
I thought the button would allow to reshuffle the points, maybe add that as a function? Some tower defense games used this to make players try different meta strategies, because as the campaign progressed it was more efficient to reset the point allocation and level a different path of towers for example.
I would love to see you playing more of this, especially because they made the Survival mode longer and have tweaked towers, axons and the powers. There also really aren't anyone making videos of the Survival mode and I've been really struggling with it. I got many helpful tips from this video but I don't know has the meta changed now with the updates.
Finally someone who is competent at these types of games. I was saddened to see how bad most RUclipsrs seems to be at basic mazing and building a somewhat coherent tower setup.
I am definitely getting this game. I'm a huge fan of tower defense but the genre has either felt stale or too esoteric for me of late. This one looks like a ton of fun. I hope they allow modding.
Aren't portable generators useless after five waves? HAven't `played the game, but I thought that when the five green dots depends you had to rebuild them.
Loved Element TD 2 for its first three months but the Devs destroyed their game by trying to chase PvP and ultra endgame balance. I've never been so disappointed with how much a game changed and this reminds me heavily of the "amazing mazes" dlc or whatever it was called, which worries me. Will try it and I really hope that they don't repeat the same issues from ETD2.
I'm sorry to hear that we ruined ETD2 for you. In hindsight, we definitely made some mistakes balance wise. If I could go back I would focus on content over balance. That's actually one reason why we decided against PvP for this game. We do not want to repeat the same thing. Seeing as it is only PvE there is no such urgency to fine tune the balance. We only have to deal with extremely obvious outliers and will be leaning far more towards buffing weak stuff over nerfing strong stuff.
you can tell this guy doesn't have much experience playing tower defense games from the way he set up the maze.... in a TD game like this where you can build the maze, it's important to make the enemies take the longest route to the target, every possible turns matter...
