u sit right in the center of the car, that just does something amazing with how it feels to drive, went from Infiniti Q40 to a Base Elantra GT and i love my Hyundai now
Maybe it's the car being new, or maybe I'm just used to it driving my ES sedan for over 7 months, but I don't think the clutch is light at all. In fact I think it's perfect. I drove a Sentra Nismo this week and the clutch in that thing is definitely light. Shifter in the Sport could be better but I have no complaints, and it's better with some shifter bushings and a nice weighted knob. 15k miles on my car already and it never fails to put a smile on my face. Zero regrets on the purchase. Fuel mileage has averaged 34mpg.
Nice review, no questions about. At least I could see interior by night; blue, not bad, better than red; personally prefer white but can live with blue for sure. BUT, as night drive, you should show us high beams; low beams look fantastic - so bright comparing to my halogens... And, man, you drive like champ. I never go over 3-4K RPM, but that is just me; I should have great fuel economy for sure :). Try to get some DCT model and show us how it drives particularly with paddle shifters. Keep up the great work! Oh, BTW, you are dreaming about rear wheel drives? Sure, if you live in retirement states/countries like Florida. Being up North I would not accept rear wheel car even if it is given to me for free...
That why you have keyless remote. Just press the button and unlock ur door. I like that the lock button is there because if you have kids they won't be touching the button.
I bought this car because of this video. It's lovely... a small car. I'm trying to copy like him to drive, for example what rpm should I change if I want to pass the other cars quickly, etc.. This video is the favourite one of mine.
Thats one of the same dislikes i also have with this car, i to wish the unlock button for the doors was on the door panel. But what i did which kinda help was, on the “convenience settings” i made it so the key fob only requires one push of the unlock button, so that all doors unlock, instead of two.
Why here in Italy there's not that version?! Here you have the choiche between 1.4 Turbo with 140 hp or the beast i30 N with the 2.0 Turbo and 275 hp. I think a mid trim choice like that 1.6 Turbo with 201 hp would be nice
Hey I'm just asking Elantra sport owners. I'm looking to get the 2021 elantra N DCT as my daily. How has the car held up? (Trans/Ac/Suspension/Electronics? Also how do you like Hyundai service? I'm only wanting to do a exhaust/BoV and hoping the warranty won't be terminated) I had a 2019 Camry XSE as my daily driver and the power was actually decent at 203HP + decent 8 speed trans and 3,290 Lbs. Toyota let me put a full exhaust/ bolt ons/suspension work and they never terminated the warranty. It was hit by a old man unfortunatly and totaled. I feel because the elantra is significantly lighter+DCT at 201Hp it would be faster and still decent mpg and more fun due to a more sporty suspension/tuning ect. Would you reccomend it as a daily or should I look elsewhere? My budget is 25-26k
Thanks for the review! So, which trans do you prefer in these things? I've wanted to know if the DCT feels as fun, I am so hung up on which one I want (have always driven MT). Obviously driving stick is more engaging, but I wonder about how the whole package comes together, and which transmission is more in-line with the design of the car..
Jason Alagna with the dual clutch transmission and F1-styled paddle shifters behind the steering wheel... I’m pretty much sold on the AT version of this car, though, and that’s a big though, a stick shift will ALWAYS have just that direct connection to the motor in a way that no automatic can, and it accesses every bit of torque that engine can muster up! I think that I’m still unsure, but would be happy enough and kinda thrilled with the AT because it’s still really damn good and fun to play with, keeping with the whole pro-racing nod there!
It's so strange, as one who loves hatches, OWNS a hatch ('14 CR-Z)....I am not a fan of this hatches' body style. I'd rather take the sedan and all its fart noises.
John Hernandez i have the elantra gt sport and rhe exhaust is the exact same sound. I absolutely love the hatch, its very similar to the the discontinued 2013 Audi A3. Personally i love the subdued look.
John Hernandez I'm starting to come around on hatches. But with this one, I'm not a fan of the rear C-pillar. Way too bulky at the top. Wish it ran parallel with the rear passenger window (as opposed to this inverted triangle).
Damn those blue interior lights have me sold!! Looking forward to test driving one soon.
Are you kidding? It looks so cheap and ugly :D
@@radytipybybundas How?

Its a Korean GTI for sure, and more reliable.
John Donnelly but slower ;)
Not that much lol
Well, the i30 N is more likely to take that bill.
More like regular golf
Exluto actually faster 😂
This is my first manual car. It's been amazing so far!

I have a feeling you're lying because if you drove a manual you would have the answer to your own question lol
Love it when you push them hard

Is it good on gas still ? My elantra has grown on me.

What kind of low beam bulbs do you have?

Chris, is this car more fun than a Fiesta ST?
Nope, I don't think so - the Fiesta ST is a riot
When it comes to reliability, safety, interior quality and practicality this is better.
Sweet ride !!!
Hey just wondering what was that icon that turned up at 1:44 ?
+Motokour I turned traction control off
TheTopher ahh okey!
its the vversion of i30N in america?
Your night time review is awesome, i like the car but i think i hate the blue back-lighting.
yes, red or white back light are more confortable for eyes in the night
gmc Sierra 2018 or 2017 , please!!?
they're the same
go with the 17 with rebates
give me link!!
How Does This Guy Switch Cars Every Few Days?
He gets them for reviews
What’s the orange light above the speedometer?
TCS disabled
Is not the blue light irritating?
Irritating? That's a highlight
Plz do a Elantra Gt Sport Automatic
The Japanese rivals are better imo. This isn't bad but I just don't like the rear end too much and it doesn't handle as well.
