Please never stop making these videos, i watch them when they are available with more joy than most tv shows i watch. Love the content, love the information & have no complaints, just ask for you not to disappear😶
thank you for finally making this video. i requested you do the s60 version, but this is close enough. these gce gems from volvo will be gone very soon, as they stated their intention to become all hybrid and/or electric by next year. these r designs are a true jekyll & hyde commuter car
I like how you are very aggressive with the throttle, steering and braking. Most car reviewers drive very slow and conservatively. I like to see cars being pushed to their limits. Great video!
Just a tremendous blend of good road manners and then you drive a new car with all-seasons at 10/10ths on the on-ramps for our scientific benefit. Thanks!
@@bigh8121 still awesome! No issues whatsoever. I take great care of it though. Sleeps in the garage, waxed regularly and serviced at the local Volvo dealership
I'm seriously considering one of these, but unsure of the reliability. I plan on taking care of it on schedule as it'll be my daily driver, but even so. I come from a Lexus. Would the 6 cylinder be more reliable?
That's why I like it, I like buttons not going through some sub-menu on the screens and things like that. I know, it's easy and offers a lot of features but still it looks good and is practical for me.
MassDotFan1062 Productions No, the engine factory in Skövde have ceased production of the 5 cylinder. The Penta company ordered a supply of them for their marine engines, but the only current Volvo with a 5 cyl is the V60 CrossCountry D5. It's soon gone though.
Believe me it doesn't feel old. This car is so solid feeling and tight. Very good materials and its a blast to drive. 7 years is a long model cycle but most car companies model cycles are 4-5 years so its not that bad. It also has all the current tech except apple/androauto. I love my V60
This car is soo pretty but I really don't like the interior that much even if it's high quality. Those dial numbers and that huge seat button in the middle are sooo 90s
People just need something to complain about. Either the car has too much tech and its going to be unreliable or it doesn't have enough tech and its old and out dated. The interior is just fine
this will cost tons of money and it is not even comparable with recent Passat Alltrack! The VW is bigger, more space, infotainment system is in a different category, comfort on rear seats non-comparable. The only reason to the V60 is the proud word : Volvo! Face it: anything else is just out of dated on this car! And yes, I am the volvo lover.....
Garbage? The Germans have been making tin cans for 15-20 years. Here in Montreal the rare late 90s or early 2000s German cars you'll encounter are absolute rust buckets that literally fall apart with barely any kilometers. Most Volvos I've encountered from acquaintances and friends and even those for sale often have over 300,000 kms without any traces of rust and generally look and work great. The steel and paint Volvo uses has always been second to none, better than pre-2000s Kraut-mobiles for sure. At least Volvo sticks to making quality cars. The most sold Beemers, Audis and Mercs are low-rent models like A3s and CLAs. Personally, I'd rather be seen in a Hyundai than one of those.
Haha, wut? I'm not Finnish. I'm Romanian. German cars have lost their soul. Nothing more than computers on wheels. At least Volvo is still number one in safety and is making huge leaps in luxury.
This body style design will last a lifetime. It’s beautiful

I wanna drive after watching your videos
Same. After I found him I also started using my turn signals more frequently, even in parking lots :D
Kyle Drexler same!!
But do you back out of the space in an empty parking lot? lol
Just a tremendous blend of good road manners and then you drive a new car with all-seasons at 10/10ths on the on-ramps for our scientific benefit. Thanks!
lmao

My sister owns a 2015 V60 with the 2.5L, she loves her car. 250hp & 4wd is interesting.
great review and test drive! Thanks for posting.
This thing will be a serious player when it gets updated
I very wanted to see this car in this channel
I love this channel than winding road magazine
The only Volvo I want. 😍
I want to be a retired dentist now, just so I can drive this car.
You should've gone to dental school 30 years ago.
Title reminded me of this song lol
Set It Off - Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
Great video
My current car tbh and i love it 😏
Hello it know it has been 3 years since you posted your comment, but I wanted to know about the reliability
Thank you

Are you also Winding Road Magazine?
yep

The interior has barely changed since 2011...
Because it's good. And it's the same car since 2010.
Writers Block if it ain't broke don't fix it

I love your videos :)
very good video!
It is getting dated but still looks great. If the V90 is anything to go by, I can't wait to see next gen S60 & V60.
I give a question about the Harman kardon is its sounds nice of better in the new won?
Beautiful car ,personally I prefer the 3.0 L that has 354 pound feet.
Does Volvo still make make 5 cylinders?

Why don’t they update vehicle line ups at the same time. This makes it look and feel so old
They will. They're small company, they can't afford o swap the entire lineup in 2 years.

Mercedes has been making the G for 30 years with minimum changes - very classy car. I do not need new model every 5 years ...
If u look at your audi updates you can find something old...
Kia Stinger next please :-)
Can you drive the 2017 cts night drive
no auto highbeams ?
Calista it has.
Weird, it seems like headlights are turning only at speed ahile they're static at parking speeds. And they were aimed a bit too low.
You make me want to drive cars I can't afford :'(
No you ordered r-design where the suspension is suppos
ed to be stiffer. just saying.
o shit ,i have a yugo parked outside and i wanna drive it so bad....
Initial D!
They should have just put the same infotainment system that's in the S90.
Tayo the little Bus
Frag Mazda
Mazda Garage 2019
Mazda Garage 2018
Shame if isn't the V60 polestar
That's uncle Jerry's car
This car is soo pretty but I really don't like the interior that much even if it's high quality. Those dial numbers and that huge seat button in the middle are sooo 90s
Maycon Payne thats exactly what i love about it!
very ugly and outdated interior, what is that screen?!!
i wouldn't take that as hate, as i love the sensus screen of volvo, but this is a 2018 car and it has 1000 buttons in it. a bit outdated isn't it?
catalon warior lol I've got one of these and it's fun to drive but the screen doesn't have a satnav
Tbh it’s pretty ugly but it sounds amazing
It's looks like the same one from the 2016 model which is basically the same since 2010. Atleast the console.

Honestly Volvo compete with the likes of Kia, Mazda and garbage like that...The Germans are on another planet compared to this crap...
Haha, no! Volvo is very much a premium brand. This car is better than the crap the German put out.
Protector of the Republic butthurt finnish who cant accept that Volvo is shit
Protector of the Republic and don’t dare to compare german cars to this 4 wheeled turd.
