Last one, I can't believe it... It was one hell of a ride! Amazing work and impressive level of dedication 😁 A bit of sadness cause this series kept me company for a full year, but also proud of you for this achievement! 🤗
Help me my fiddle leaf fig the leafs are turning brown. I've had the plant for about a month. I had one before this one I took it back to nursery they told me it was burnt from to much sun. The window i had it in front of the sun doesn't come in that window because it's shaded by trees. The new on is not as close to window but still turning brown. Any suggestions 🤔.
And here we are 365 days later. So much has happened in those days, practically turning my world upside down, and that was before the pandemic. The one faithful and constant that I could trust was your daily posting. When I woke up today it was the first thing I thought of: Today is the last day. I learned tons, am now obsessive about Rhipsalis--I seem to have chosen one of the hardest to find plants in Canada. I often refer back to your posts because` I can easily search for what I want. Thank you so much Summer for giving so much of your time to create these videos.
I have two growing outside in Florida, under a canopy of oaks. One is about 8 foot tall. The other was about 10 foot tall, and it was blown over by a tornado. The root ball was sitting there, part of it in the ground. The plant was completely horizontal. I couldn't get anyone to help me lift it up, so I gave up. That was several years ago. The plant has not only grown horizontally, but all of the side branches have grown vertically, giving the whole plant a look of a forest of figs, rather than a fallen tree. No one notices unless I point it out. It turned into an attractive accident.
I knew it would be your ficus as your 365 days of plants. Congratulations Summer, I'm so proud of you for accomplishing this amazing task of featuring a plant every day. Thank you so much
The 365 series is now a reference on YT for 365 different plants. All the work you have put in these videos will be helpful to many people for many years. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion.
Yay! You really saved the best for last. Can’t believe 365 days of plants is completed. I hope you make another set of 365 days. I bet there are thousands of plants that deserve a day of spotlight.
Always great Series. Great quantity of informative infornation. Great reference. Great Moderator. Love all the Plants presented and seeing "Kippi". I keep a few saved as favorites for reference; and share these videos on FB as well.
simply amazing. you should be so proud of this series!!! i watched every single one even if i didn't own the plant myself. you put so much work into your content and it shows!! congratulations on this series!!!
NOOOOOO 😥 So it's all over?!! I was really enjoying learning all about plants I have and plants I want. Thank you so much for this amazing series. You are hands-down, the undisputed number one plant content creator! Thanks so much for sharing all of your knowledge with us!
I have really enjoyed this great series. Thank you so very much for inviting us into your home and sharing all of your professional knowledge! I can't wait to see what's coming up next. Thank you! Have a great day!💜🍃💕
I did miss seeing this last plant of 365 Days of Plants, but I have two of these, the one is more like a bush and the other is more like a tree that I got as a very small cutting, the small one I thought I had killed it, but I fussed over it and it came back and is just the cutest little plant. I totally enjoyed this wonderful series and all of the work that went into it, it was for sure a labor of love on your part. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us, thank you again so much Summer, XOXO.
We're here! 365 out of 365. Oh my God I can't believe. Also, personally one of the things that have helped me to become a better indoor plantkeeper is just putting my faith in these roommates that I coexist with. I used to proudly call myself as the "owner" of my plants and having that mindset made me believe that I thought I knew better and knew more about my plants than they do themselves. After seeing the 10th plant die, I just told myself and them "Hey, you know what - you live here, you share this space with me, you grow as fast or as slow as you want and I'll help you and I'll care for you when you want and need me to". Having that change in mindset just boosted the growth of my plants because at the end of the day, they're creatures of their own and I shouldn't exert authority over them! That was a long sharing, but thank you Summer for planting (see what I did there) the passion within me to start my own plantkeeping journey. Your humility is admirable and the way you choose to share your knowledge instead of calling them the gospel is one of the many reasons why I have been hooked since the beginning.
Thank you Summer for this fantastic series and all the hard work it must have taken. I have really enjoyed it along with everything else you do. Take care, Kathy xxx
I used to grow my fiddle leaf fig inside (I live in Germany), but ever since my trip to Taiwan, where I saw these trees grow in the wild under full sun, I started growing it outside where it gets full sun from around 11am to 7pm, and it looks waaaaay happier than when it used to grow inside :) (I of course take it back inside during the winter months). Many sources say it doesn't do well under full sun and to only give it filtered light, but they do grow under full sun in the wild and thrive :)
wow. you did it. such a nice series. what would ever be more better is to do the series again for 2023 ,without repeating any otther plant in the 2021 series . damn. that would be epic.
Please make a season 2 😅 Also a question - how does your home smell? I always wondered how much change in the smell is from the city to your home. As far as I remember you never talked about the smell! 🙂
Incredible Summer! A whole year of plants; I'm sure that you've got thousands more to show us. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do to bring us such amazing plants and in addition to all the new information I have learned from watching these. I'm a bit of an green thumb novice, so I really love each video. 💕
Congratulations on making it through! This was a hell of an undertaking. It will be an incredible resource for indoor plant enthusiasts for years to come. 🙌🌿
A big thank you Summer for all of the 365 times you taught us even more about plants. I can't believe how fast this went. I'm lucky enough to have most of the Masterclass still ahead of me... I hope that despite of the lockdown, there is still a tiny feeling of a wrap party for you and everybody ;-) Stay safe!
Another awesome review I purchased one about 3 week's ago and so far it's doing very very well I have it outside in bright sunlight one thing that I have noticed is it likes water I have been using rain water and have been tightly fertilizing it got lucky one day and a woman was in the parking lot selling many plants
Love this! Congratulations!!! I'll say it again, thank you for all you do, Summer Rayne. I just received my copy of your book in today's mail. Doing a happy dance and singing at the top of my lungs. Happy Wednesday!
I loved this entire educational series, it was quite a helpful thing for amateurs and professionals alike. And the symbolism of your first plant being the last in the series was a nice surprise. Thank you so much summer. I've known you since your 33rd day of 365 days of plants and it's been marvellous time with you. I hope you come up with more quirky series like this.. And i am stooped at your diligence with the fact you wore the same shirt for this entire series. 😂😂😂more power to you Summer!
Congrats, Summer! What a ride. I wish I could’ve met you in austin pre-crisis. Stay safe, and I’m sure I speak for most of us- we look forward to more plant journeys with you.
Hi Summer, really enjoyed watching a plant a day. Thank you. I shall miss them. I bet you wont. You worked hard on this series. My plants thank you, especially my fiddle leaf figs.
I am so grateful to have found your channel and this series. I only started watching in the 340s but I am excited about going through these as my daily soothing videos for the next year!
Awesome going back to where you started! Thanks so much for this insightful series, I've learned so much about plants I have and plants I want. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next! 🐔🌼🌻🌺🌱🌿🌳
All good things must come to an end. Isn't that the saying? Loved the series. Now you can make a 365-video playlist to be binged. I just got my first FLF. I got the small, compact cultivar called "little fiddle" (I think it's also called 'bambino'). I watch it like it's an infant. I'm so nervous after hearing all the stories about them being temperamental. I've had it about a month and so far, so good. But boy do I worry about it!
What a perfect plant to end a great series of all time! Congrats on your success! I learn a lot every day from you and really amazed with your broad and versatile knowledge. I actually don't have the courage to own a FLF. To imagine that there are so many plants flora species out there - named and unnamed are amazing. I actually watch your videos every day :D Can't wait to see your next ideas!
Wow! The last video of the series! How did you feel when you were filming it? If this wasn't the actual last one while you were recording, how did the very last video made you feel? Well done on an amazing achievement!
I’ve heard that the spots can also be from too much watering. I have spots but no other evidence of spider mites. I’ve also been treating w Neem regularity as a preventative measure. Thoughts?
I’ve killed 3. I put the 4 th one I put outside and told it , “ ill water you and feed you but it’s up to you to live or die”. It had like 5 brown ugly leaves. Now it’s down to 2 brown ugly leaves BUT it has NEW leaves coming out. I live in California in the Central Valley zone 9. That being said it doesn’t seem to be an easy plant to grown or maintain unless you have the ABSOLUTE IDEAL conditions for it.
Thanks for the video, very helpful. I got a 12" fiddle not long ago and I found the soil is draining a little bit too fast since it has a lot of bark chips in it, also I feel the soil has shrunk and pulled away from the edge of the nursery pot, so there's a gap between the soil and the pot. Should I repot it? And what size should I use? I can see some roots on top of the soil so I think it's a bit root bound...
I have a 10 ft. fig at home and you are SO right about just having to know your plant. These guys are specific, based on what area of your home they live in and what temperature it has been that week. I have mine in an 18" cylinder right now and want to keep it in a planter 20" or less. Have you root pruned your fig to stunt growth?
Last one, I can't believe it... It was one hell of a ride! Amazing work and impressive level of dedication 😁 A bit of sadness cause this series kept me company for a full year, but also proud of you for this achievement! 🤗
Congratulations on your success this past year! You have accomplished something of major and very original importance!
I've just started watching your channel. Love your plants. The are beautiful.

Cool! Would love to see a picture of that!

Did you ever post it? I didn’t see it on your Instagram
@@CocoaCookies_ Just posted. Thanks for asking.
Oh my gosh it literally is a forest of figs! It's so beautiful! 😍 Thank you for sharing, I hope mine turns out like yours 10 years from now! 🤞🏼
I enjoyed every single episode of this series!
This has been the only consistent thing in my life for the past year. Please make more!!!!!
Wonderful. How nice it is summer. Be safe and take care
I’m so sad that this is the last in the series but can’t wait to see what you have in store for the next year!

Congratulations on finishing 365 Days of Plants! I'm still sifting through them. Lot's of useful and interesting info on a large variety of plants.
The plant feature I've been waiting for. Thank you Summer~!
Very cool thank you. I also started with a Fiddle leaf Fig, albeit a wee bambino. Wow that thing's massive & gorgeous (watched yr other video). 🤘
The little red dots are also from inconsistent watering during a growth cycle.
I second this lol
Agreed. I did a ton of research and it's edema from inconsistent watering. Something about the cells in the leaves bursting.
Yes, it is called Edema
Last one!! Thank you for doing this!!

Wow, last plant is what i started with first
Was also my rebuy before covid lockdown
Also, how frequently shld I repot this?? Does it like to be root bound??
Mine is turning into a tall bush tree thing. Aerial roots, new stalks, help
