I’ve never posted on RUclips before but I wanted to let you know how much I truly enjoy these videos. As a SAHM with three kiddos, the message I commonly hear are about “self care” aka time away from our kids. But I think your message is far more powerful and realistic. Instead of just getting through the day until you can break away from the kids/family, why don’t we change our mindset to find fulfillment in the everyday tasks. If I’m being totally honest, I watch one of your videos almost daily but specifically on days I’m dragging my feet. Folding laundering with painted red nails makes me feel pretty and proud. Thank you for making such an impact in so many of our lives and for showing us what really matters.
Yes! The majority of folks that I know just count down the hours until nap time and then until bedtime ... never enjoying the time in between. I love Jennifer’s more realistic picture. Cleaning slowly, properly with or without audio entertainment is so meditative. And I don’t have to escape to a quiet corner in the lotus position. When the kids “interrupt” it doesn’t bother me a bit (for the most part). It’s satisfaction at its best!
I SO MUCH LOVE your well worn living room. It loudly speaks ~ FAMILY! Its so comforting to see. It shows that your family is important and that you enjoy your time together. I simply love it. So many you tube channels are so staged, like children aren't welcomed. You've embraced it. And it speaks volumes to us who enjoy your channel. Thank you.💜💜💜
I’m dumbfounded as to why anyone would thumbs down. These videos are all so aesthetically pleasing, as well as soothing to listen to. I take great pleasure in them- thank you for making them. 💓
I loved the ending. Your little guy is so cute. In 1963-64, my family toured Europe. While in England everyday at 4 pm cars would pull along side the road, take out their little tables and teapots and have tea. I was 13 & 14 and still remember this so well.
Give that little birthday boy an extra kiss for me!! Listening to him brought back a flood of memories of my own 2 little boys (all grown up now). Now I'll go have a cup of tea! : )
I think your living room looks very inviting, comfortable and warm. There are "signs of life" and grand living there. No apologies please. Texas Sheet Cake is a favorite at our house. Happy Birth-day Mama and son! Sweet, sweet book time at the end. Thanks for letting us take a listen. God bless you and yours.
Hi Jennifer, I so enjoyed the peace and tranquility offered by this video. I was very tired when ai started watching it and it helped me to relax. Thank you.
I always love your tea videos, Jennifer. Such a precious ending. I have noticed that you look so trim and healthy. I hope you can do a video soon, discussing how often you eat sweets and how you manage your portion sizes so well. ❤️
Even though I grew up in NY, my mom and grandparents (who lived with us) were from Scotland and tea...strong dark tea, was a staple. It was a comfort, a treat, a ritual and healer, but my most fond memory was how we would just sit and talk and have tea...and do nothing else during it.
I’m late to the party with this video Just seeing it now. Your sons cute little voice at the end is so precious Many blessings to your family Jennifer. They all are so adorable 🙏🏻♥️
Happy Birthday baby boy! So cute! Here is a quick sweet snack, cut dates in half top with 2 teaspoons almond butter and pecan halves. Beautiful video Jennifer .
Oh Jennifer! I so loved this video! Thank you!!! Happy Birthday to your little fellow and thank you so much for sharing his precious little voice at the end!! You are absolutely a gift!! :)
I love the music you used. I love that you took some time time to refresh and treat yourself. As a homemaker for over 37 years I can tell you that giving yourself time for God and self care is so vital. It encourages us and keeps us grounded. My daughter, who is 40, told me she remembers and values the fact that every day I had a quiet time from 2-3pm where I went into my bedroom to pray. Keep inspiring us.
Hearing your little darling say "ambulance" was worth the price of admission. Cherish each moment...they fly by like will o' the wisps! Love the tea spot and mmmm....such decadent goodies. Thanks for another inspiring peek at your early autumn activities.
Thank you for that precious ending to a fruitful day. Our children are all middle and high school age, and while I enjoy seeing the people they are becoming, there is something so sweet about those younger years. Happy Birthday young Master!
This video makes takes me away to a sweet repose in my mind. I like that the setting isn't magazine perfect yet so lovely (I love that you garden in your bare feet!) All of us that come here to partake in your videos, I think, find a connection, something relateable and yet inspiring. Hopefully we all can find and create some of this beauty which comes really from the small and normal things in life. It makes me want to film a day in my life and capture it for the future when these precious days of children and house hold are priority-it doesn't last forever. Great video as always!
Oh this video melts my heart, Jennifer. There are many homemaker vloggers here on RUclips, but yours are my favourite to consume. Please continue to share such wholesome, hearty, warm, and humble content with us- you inspire and gently encourage. Love from Australia.
Hi Jennifer, Happy 2nd Birthday wishes to your little one! He is so cute and I loved hearing him at the end of the video. It brought back memories of my son when he was little (He is now 30!). You are so right time does go by so fast so enjoy all your moments! I just love tea and everything that goes with it. I have some books from Victoria magazine regarding Afternoon Tea. It is one of those lovely moments you can have everyday! Thank you for a fun, relaxing video. xoxo, Karen
Beautiful calm and relaxing, the birthday cake looked delicious .. and your little boy speaking at the end was so lovely, a very happy birthday to him 🎂🍰
Ah, raising my 4 children, gardening, cooking, laundry and homemaking, even those difficult chores have been the greatest blessings of my life. I mean this sincerely and it was very challenging for me also because I was born with a crippling, peripheral nerve disease and had a domineering, demanding husband who believed my place was in the home and I shouldn't need any help. After 16 years of things growing worse I couldn't take it any longer and divorced. But doing these beautiful little chores, one by one, day after day kept me sane. Especially the precious times of motherhood. Life is beautiful and rich if we make it so and love our homes, make it beautiful and treasure these moments as you demonstrated. Be blessed
Yesterday evening I told my husband that I hope my favorite RUclipsr makes a video tomorrow! I guess it came true. This is such a relaxing video. Can’t wait for the chic assignment check in! -Lydiya
Your son is just adorable!!! Those are precious memories that are worth more than gold. The chocolate sheet cake is so delicious 😋!!! I think I got my pattern from The Pioneer Woman but my mom made them for years too!! Thank you, Jennifer for a beautiful video!! I need those chocolate turtles too!!😍
I love everything about this video. God Bless you and your family, Jennifer. Happy Birthday to that sweet little boy! This video made me cry...it really was beautiful.
Lately I’ve been making Chinese 8 treasure tea with white chrysanthemums, osmanthus green tea, rose buds, red dates, sultanas, dried longans, gogi berries and rock sugar. I put it in a double wall tall glass so I can see the layers. The rosed buds and chrysanthemums bloom in the hot water and float to the top with a few other ingredients but some sink to the bottom with the green tea leaves and tiny yellow osmanthus blossoms. It’s so pretty.
What a delightful video, Jennifer. I am so far behind on your videos, but it is a satisfaction to have so many to look forward to watching! I loved hearing your son's sweet voice repeating the words you said. He speaks well for his age!
Lovely! Rolos used to be my favorite chocolate as a teen. Will have to try that treat. Hope your neighborhood is not in peril with the wildfires. The first teacup shown in the Victoria book is identical to a set I inherited from my mother-in-law!
Happy birthday to your little angel 🎈🥳 Such a lovely video! Thanks for sharing! Your videos remind me to stay calm and embrace the mess and chaos of my home and that, its doable/ achievable. We can stay classy even if we stay at home with little kids all day 💕
That sweet little voice awwww. Already 2. It doesn't seem like. Wow little buddy getting big. Thanks for the chocolate cake and frosting recipe too. I may have to make that myself😊
What works with your videos for me is the peaceful atmosphere created. The sense of silence and patience in doing whatever is you are doing. The one and only thing that kills it for me is the commercial right in the middle of the beautiful moment. Is that something you chose or does RUclips control that? Is there anyway to have the commercials at the beginning? Nonetheless I still enjoy watching you. It always helps me to get my attitude straight. It gives me the feeling of , “ I can walk this way. I can enjoy the work that is mine to do.”
Another calming and beautiful video that I never miss. Happy belated birthday to Ben. Also, I made the cake and it turned out perfect. Thank you and God bless you and your beautiful family.
Love your home making videos. It provides a sense of serenity and normality in these uncertain times. A very Happy Birthday to your little boy. Enjoy every moment as time sure goes fast. My youngest son turned 18 in July. Just don’t know where the time goes. Have a wonderful week.
I love Texas sheet cake! Back when my son was diagnosed with major food allergies and I was looking for something that he could have that would satisfy his sweet tooth, I made this cake and substituted the regular flour with coconut flour. It was fabulous! This is a great cake.
Your garden is lovely, Jennifer! It was lovely to see you planting herbs. Our dill is doing well. Happy birthday to your precious little one. 💕 Have a blessed week!
Wow, Jennifer. I have to hand it to you! My hat is off to you! I'd have to have the tea or coffee before I started to get myself ready. I might have to have some coffee or tea after as well!
I absolutely love your videos. Such a huge inspiration in my everyday homemaking life. I love art and beauty, the little things and moments. Who would of thought in this day and age homemaking could be so beautiful. I knew I wasn't just a day dreamer. Thank you so much, God bless 💜
I look forward to these homemaker videos. They are so relaxing to watch and inspiring. Thank you. Now, I want tea and I don’t drink tea unless it’s ice tea usually 😆 Your son is adorable and he sounded so cute on the ending! 💛
lovely white covers in your beautiful living room, these are covers that you can be comfortable on and not feel stiff and frightened to spill your tea or leave a rolo chocolate mark;-)
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, the senerity of your tea time moment really came through in the style of the video, it was lovely 😊 Thanks for sharing these moments
Tea time is my favorite part of the day (like cocktail time on Friday afternoon). I always have it with a small cucumber sandwich, just the way mummy made them, two butter biscuits and I’m in heaven. Beautiful video!
Everything was just splendid! I enjoyed my time with you and watching you straighten up your living room brought back 2 memories, how inviting it was when I visited and our cleaning competition 😂😂😂
I thought I was the only one barefoot in the garden. I feel one with the garden and outside being barefoot. It’s the connection🤣 Happy belated birthday to your son! His voice is so cute relaying back the words. Having videos is such a great thing to capture moments of our kids on these little things that they do. I know with having four kids it’s a lot of memories!
I always enjoy watching your videos and I know your family is never in them for your privacy which I completely understand, but I loved to see that photo of your little boy! Absolutely adorable, God bless 😇
I would love to hear more about how you stay positive and motivated with your homemaking and present with your children on days when you may feel the complete opposite (if that ever happens). I find I am less motivated with my homemaking and less present with the children when I am not able to tend to my professional work and self-care...which has been amplified during COVID.
tea time = the best time. My mom used to have tea time with me every day growing up. We still do tea time together and I cherish those moments. Beautiful video! xo
Serene & peaceful video!
Beautiful teapot/teacup/saucer! They make teatime so much more special!! 🫖☕️
