I am a homeschool mother to 4 kids (and #5 due in September) And every time I watch one of your videos I'm reminded that repetition is part of the comfort of childhood and the joy of serving. Thank you for what you do. It's a very important contribution, especially to us homemakers who can sometimes feel out of place in today's busy world.
You are such a wonderful mother and homemaker. Thank you for helping me see the honor in the sometimes mundane tasks of everyday life. It is truly a blessing!!! I always feel that taking care of what the Lord has given to you is indeed honoring him and that God is smiling down on us while we do the simplest of tasks for our family.
Can I simply say that by watching these videos, it inspires me once again why it is so beautiful to have classic and instrumental music, I had no idea that is how it was. I thought it would just not be my cup of tea putting this music out there, but I will give it a try. Also, you keep yourself tidy, when I want to clean, I am looking for "home" clothes, like a little torn, wrinkly, or simply old clothes to let the dust in. I think there has to be a balance, in my case because I don't want to ruin nice clothes even if I may have an apron on, oh! I am going to go buy a cute apron though haha!

My husband has unfortunately banned wallpaper from our house LOL! When we bought it, every (and I mean every!) room had wallpaper, so it's been quite a process taking it all down and painting. I give my children lots of birthday gifts as well. Christmas too. Throughout the year there are no grand expectations. It is only about what is needed. But those are the special times that deserve to be celebrated. And I enjoy the process greatly.

Beautiful! Our sons have birthdays very close together, same age. Happy birthday to your sweet 4yo! I had to chuckle when you were chopping those veggies...that cutting board moving up and down like that would drive me nuts! I like to cut an onion in half through the root end, but leave it on. Turn it flat side down, cut in narrow slices from the root to the tip, not cutting through the root. Then you cut across perpendicular to the root, and you have a perfectly diced onion. I really enjoy these videos! Thank you for sharing.

I’ll be honest .. on a hard day when I’m tired and the house work was hard I watch this and I want to cry, because you make it look so effortless and wonderful. No wining kids around, housework in the silence and peace. Put my mind at ease, do you ever have your kids try to “help you” ? Do you have days you are about to cry from how tired you are? And from how tired you are from being constantly interrupted, nagged at etc? What is happening behind the scenes? Does your husband help you like a LOT? Which is great! But I need to know, please ❤️I can’t explain this otherwise.. I respect you highly, read your books, and love you channel... it’s just it’s been a hard day and I sit and wonder just how realistic this is...

I watched this while scrapping out my own ice cream maker and licking the spoon. Homemade is the best, from ice cream to a birthday cake baked by one's sister. Life is good. As good as we want it to be.

Beautiful garden! Envy your fine potatoes ... Our grass is high, above the knees, it is a meadow now, instead of a lawn, only thing missing some sheep or a pretty cow or a pony ... and I finally got my tomatoes outdoors yesterday, but now they will hopefully like it on the South wall, and now I will start everything else at least a month late. It all went on hold when we got sick and tired. Oth if we have another late autumn it wont matter :)

Throughout last year we renovated most of our home so i have spent most of the lockdown time wiping out and cleaning all cupboards. So happy with the overall look of our house. Even the backyard was ripped up and redesigned and you can only imagine the dust from that!! I'm very excited and curious about the new book you are writing. Cheers and have a productive week.
