    The expression used in the SOP Path at 1:20 is: `opinputpath("..", 0)`
    The surrounding characters are a backtick: `
    Not a single quote: '

    why does this video feel like 1.5 speed?

    • @gregorybennings8718
      @gregorybennings8718 8 месяцев назад

      Lots of modern tutorials are made for people with ADHD. It's unfortunate because us normal folks suffer.

    • @dissonantprotean5495
      @dissonantprotean5495 8 месяцев назад

      I mean, I'm pretty sure I do have some amount of ADHD, and if a video is long / boring / easy I will certainly watch it at 1.5 or 2x speed. But I don't think it's accurate to say this style is "for people with ADHD". It's not like a person with that condition would magically learn better because a video is going a mile a minute. I agree with you though that SideFX seems to be trying out that TikTok / Shorts type format which just really doesn't work for this type of content. @@gregorybennings8718

    "In Houdini 19 we have an option to create a sphere as a polygon mesh"
    Well, if you don't like the factory defaults, you can always change the parameters of an operator and save that as a permanent defaults. Since not even sure what version. You don't need Houdini 19 for that.

    Why are you speaking so fast... you do know that the majority of the world doesn't speak english??

    • @reasonsreasonably
      @reasonsreasonably 2 года назад +7

      YOU can slow the speed of the video by clicking the gear icon in RUclips, or even speed it up. YOU can even turn on the CC closed captions and read along to help your comprehension and improve your reading skills in English.

    • @-Belshazzar-
      @-Belshazzar- 2 года назад +2

      @@reasonsreasonably you know what, not really, for some reason, the video is sped up so fast, that frames are missing (too high frame rate and it's not the original recording speed) and even if you slow it down, you can't see even if you manage to pause directly on the frame you want to see what nodes he is placing because the frames are missing!
      On one hand that fact it's short and concise is very good, but that is damn too quick and because it's originally uploaded in fast forward speed is not helping!
      He can be just a bit slower or at least show what nodes he is choosing, since he is not using the full node names while speaking....
