Okay, getting on soap box. I completely believe in spirits and have watched Ryan and Shane forever. The point of the show is that Shane is the person who questions. Drives me nuts that he gets so much shit. The appeal of this show is its grounded in reality. They care about getting real footage. I hope Shane never feels bad when people get mad at him. While I side with Ryan the show wouldn’t be the same without Shane.❤
Agreed, it what balances it out in a sea of shows that have people of typically only one side.
This is why I got into Unsolved originally. I don't think ghosts are real but I would love to be proven wrong and Shane being there really seems to keep it more grounded and enjoyable.
This is their winning formula imo. As a skeptic, I’ve never been interested in other ghost shows cuz I feel like they will manipulate the “evidence” for views. If I am going to even begin to believe in the evidence, I need a Shane to be there as the voice to represent us non-believers. The day I will even remotely entertain the idea of ghosts being real is if Shane becomes a believer 😁
I agree!! They are the best duo in ghost hunting and everything else because they have the best rapport! I have been a fan for years!
I only watch because there is skepticism. There are already a bunch of shows that lie about evidence and make up supernatural explanations for everything
I love that The Fart got the full investigative treatment with elimination of suspects, establishing alibis, and profiling

I wish they'd take a trip to the Philippines and take a look at some of our most haunted places because I'd also love to see Ryan see the country since he's part Filipino. They can visit the Old Diplomat Hotel, Laperal White House, and Teacher's Camp in Baguio, the Manila Film Centre in Pasay, or Fort Santiago in Intramuros.
That fart is the only thing haunting that house. Going to echo across the centuries.

The last question is really interesting bc I was wondering the same thing. I don’t know if anyone else remembers the Loey Lane episode but when Ryan and Shane went to ask the spirit questions, it wasn’t really responsive. But when Loey came on, the spirit kept responding to her
I feel bad about it but I didn't believe anything in that episode, from what I remember anyway. Whole thing seemed off
As a long-time mother of rats, I can confirm that those little doofuses do be running into walls/furniture at high speed on the regular. Never seems to do them any harm - at least, not enough harm for them to slow down in future.
As much as I love the face camera, I would love to see more POV footage of solo investigations. I feel like it would give a sense of how eerie the place can be. Put ourselves in the investigator shoes.
I'm a boogara, but I'm ngl I'm still not sure if this family's stories about their house passes the sniff test. It just didn't feel active in the same way the other house calls, or other previously inhabited locations they've investigated

I am a big fan of the boys doing haunted houses along with the big name over explored places. These are gems and it's really cool seeing them and I hope there's many more home haunts coming!!
So happy to hear the love for Kansas City! If you do another tour, KC has some beautiful old venues (that are "haunted," if you're not a Shaniac). Also not far from the Glore Psychiatric Museum in St. Joseph, which could make for a fun Ghost Files episode!
