Send us q's for the Debrief under this comment!
For the debrief: Okay, so first I just wanna say, I have literally been a massive fan of you guys since like middle school, and now I am in college; it's actually crazy to me. And I absolutely love the friendship the two of you have sm. So now the question: do you think you might be able to get anything with music? like time-centric music, especially with the younger ghosts. I feel like there would be like excitement with the music, and it might have some more results. also my birthday is tmmr, can i get a happy birthday from you guys? I love your show!!!
#Debrief have you ever had nightmares about any of the locations?
Will there be multiple seasons or is this a one time thing?
would you guys ever consider adding a heart monitor to the solo gear? id love to see if shane ever gets scared and is just good at hiding it lol
which location did you guys loved the most this season
A ghost meeting Shane's energy and telling him to fight it is actually some really compelling evidence imo
Madej vs Hull lessgo baby
Absolutely. You’ve heard of “Top 5 Beatdown”? Well now get ready for “Ghost Beatdown”!
Idk how the camerguy isn't laughing at all this compelling evidence!🤣🤣🤣
I was THRILLED THAT SOMETHING Ghostly FINALLY responded to Shane’s DB energy! Of course a ghost wants to smack him! BAHAHAHAHAHA
took ghost busters to a different level
I thought "Nerd" was the funniest thing that could come from this series, but holy shit Shane beating the shit out of the ghost was incredible.
This 100%
hahaha yep you're right hurricane, I thought the nerd comment couldn't be topped, but then the ghost fight happened!
And Mr.Hull was never to be found from that moment on, it were only just the girls. And the baby.
RIP Mr. Hull's ghost, you picked the wrong nerd.
This bloody cracked me up! Brilliant stuff lmao sending mixed messages here... Bring it LOL
Dont like the show anymore...nerds!
Ryan getting freaked out by baby noises only for the camera to cut to Shane wailing into the walkie was so fucking underrated that shit was absolutely HILARIOUS
That and the shot of Shane on the ground cracked me up 😂😂😂

I thought those were cat noises lmao
I don't know if you have your definition of "underrated" correct
The fact we will never truely know if devil baby swung on the chandelier, flipped into Shane’s arms and received a smooch will always haunt me. Release the footage.
Ayo damn I didn't even realise that Shane would actually have to delete the footage to keep his word 🤣🤣🤣
He made a promise
Devil baby doesn't know what the internet is, RELEASE THE FOOTAGE
I think it happened
please make a collab with sam and colby and let shane do the estes method ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Honestly Shane getting into a fight with a sassy ghost telling him he "missed" may be the most compelling piece of evidence in the whole series

That conversation between Shane and the Ghost was one of the funniest things I have seen on this show so far. "Bring it" and then shane is sassing the ghost and he goes "cute" LMAOOO
I agree. That was absolutely amazing!
I love how sad Shane sounds after the ghost asks him "Who is this?" But my theory is that Mr. Hull's family members walked in and were like "Who is this?" while Hull is comically rolling up his sleeve saying hit me xd
I imagine the ghost finally noticed Ryan in the corner
"Honey, this demon wants to throw hands with me!"-Mr Hull
Shane only said “we’re Ryan and Shane” my theory is he wanted to know which one he was fighting

Ghost hunting it its finest right there
That was hilarious 😂 I was literally laughing out loud!!
The fact that Ryan said things like “bring it” “fight” and “hit me” while Shane was talking about fighting is actually pretty wild.
Yeah it was almost like an actual conversation. If this is real and not acted, that's amazing!
I don’t think a ghost from the 1800’s uses “Bring it” in that context.
@@pancreas7475 what if that ghost (who would've be an actual person) from the 1800's invented the phrase?

shane beating the shit out of a ghost might be some of the most conclusive evidence they’ve ever captured tbh
Not even joking
Honestly. It may be a fluke but ya know what? That was the most realistic conversation we have seen yet on this show.
AND HEY SHANE GOT TO BEAT UP A GHOST! FINALLY
It honestly felt like Shane was actually talking to two ghosts. One of them asks Shane to square up, then the other one said "I'm good."
he hit the ghost so hard. The ghost forgot who he was fighting. Concussed a damn ghost....
I'm a boogara but I don't really take the spirit box seriously, but this conversation, VERY interesting

I love that Ryan walks in the house, hears a baby crying, and immediately turns back around. Very relatable. Final girl behavior
Gave me flashbacks to haunted house movie 😂
Shane having a somewhat coherent conversation with a ghost and having it devolve into a physical altercation is the most hilarious thing ever
honestly, ryan's a real one for hearing the baby cry and just turning around. my man was not about to be demon baby food and i gotta respect that
That made me laugh - he was literally turning around and leaving 😂

in his defence, it was pretty convincing
To be fair, even as a none believer, if I was in a supposed haunted baby house and I genuinely heard a crystal clear baby crying in an area I knew had no speakers or hidden people, I'd run as far as I could away.
That's the kind of evidence that I need for this to be believable, not distant crappy sounds or random words.
Ryan: “it forces you to be an actual investigator for once”

i think that this one of their most succesful spirit box sessions, bc it almost feels like there's two entities talking over each other. One is scared, repeatedly asking who's there, who are they, even telling them to go (warning them?) while the other is much more aggresive.
the shane and ryan of the ghost world
yeah, one was really challenging and meeting shanes energy. honestly, a ghost bouncing off shanes questions/jokes and coming back at him with the same vibe is actually pretty compelling as the more they spoke, the more aggressive the answers got. really makes for good evidence as its not stiff constant answers its almost built up the more shane took the piss out of the ghoul. especially with the whole fight thing.
23:13 the baby’s literally saying Ryan should wear a dress and sneak em in during night while Shane distracts god with a shove, that’s- oh that’s beautiful
Honestly that such a child like plan 😂
Shane last episode: Tells Garrett they try to be nice to the ghosts
Shane this episode: Fist fights a ghost
When he was telling garret he’s respectful to ghost I was laughing. This episode right after that conversation is pure Shane chaos and I love it

Shane saying he used to shower in the dark explains everything
Absolute psychopath behavior
to be fair, I used to do that because my 24/7 migraine (at the time) was so bad I couldn't handle both light AND the noise of the shower. I still do it sometimes when I feel really overwhelmed or overstimulated or my brain is doing a migraine.
of all the things Shane has admitted to doing, either as an adult or as a child, I don't think this is a particularly weird one
“I think I killed a ghosts” and “Nighttime Dan” will go down as some of the iconic ghoul boys moments
I need fan art of nightime dan
That conversation between Shane and the agressive ghost on the Estes spirit box was strangely coherent
I think the show would improve greatly (not that it isn't great already!) by letting us hear what either Ryan and Shane are hearing in the headphones when they do that Estes Spirit Box segment or just having it play out loud like they did previously. There's just something that has been off or missing these first three episodes and I believe that's it, it really adds to the video when we can hear along and go "yeah, that did sound like that".
I can see how some people would think Ryan and Shane are faking what they're hearing for views and content by saying whatever they want and it just seemed like that hard in this episode. I love these guys but I just believe it's something they could implement for future episodes.
Thoughts?
@@TheAnthonyG. agree
@@TheAnthonyG. I don't think they are faking it, but I would also like to hear what the one with headphones on hears. Shane and Ryan aren't the type of creators on here that would fake stuff for views, they get enough views without "faking". Shane also played into what Ryan was saying which is probably why the conversation seemed so coherent.

The only pet peeve I have with this show is that sometimes Ryan will ask like 3 questions quickly to the ghosts instead of slowly asking each one.
Was just thinking that too
I know this is all for fun, but my biggest pet peeve is how they try to recreate the evidence photos sent in by fans, in the exact same place, and almost kinda expect the shape or image to reappear in their version. The likelihood of that happening is less than zero.
Ryan has explained before that he does wait for responses but they have to cut out the silence for time. cuz majority of the time they don’t get responses
@@bidishahit’s also to see if the apparent apparition might be a smudge or light reflection from the position the photo is taken. it’s actually good evidence for skeptics if the photo can be recreated and it’s good evidence for believers if it can’t be.

Also Shane: *OH, SO YOU WANNA FIGHT ME, GHOST?*

I like to imagine that the ghosts are always there like “bro, I can’t manipulate shit. I can’t talk to you through no magic box, and I can’t physically interact with no damn flashlight to turn it on or off because I’m not an object.” While ghost hunters are just constantly trying to use these devices thinking the ghosts can actually intentionally filter out words and stuff from radio waves to speak to them and the ghosts are just standing there like “bruh”…😅

Rewatching Shane and Ryan's banter about the Devil Baby, I remembered reading a book on Icelandic ghost folklore, and there they had had legends about babies who were left to die in the plains (when centuries ago abortions were not allowed but the mother didn't want the child). And the legend is, people would see these ghost babies, but at that time in Iceland it was believed that ghosts looked pretty much like the living, except for they wore red clothes and these babies would crawl with only one side of their bodies functioning (like using only right leg and right hand, for example). I still have this vivid image in my head of these creepy crawling babies.

During the spirit box session with the honeytone at 17:18 I hear "Whos your friend". Ryan has his last name Bergara on his jacket so it's possible the spirit was reading that out loud when it said his name, then asked who Shane was.

Shane making crying noises through the walkie and Ryan falling for it sums up the dynamic of their friendship
ngl I fell for it as well 😭 I forgot about the walkies for a hot second 😭
And then they cry like babies together. Truly a beautiful friendship
These are the only ghost hunters I trust to give us true footage and nothing exaggerated.
Shane getting into the most insane altercation with a ghost in this episode might be my favorite thing to happen ever
The entire spirit box session at the very beginning had me losing my mind. This is the most coherent conversation they’ve ever had, everything made sense
It annoyed me bc we couldn’t hear what was said….I mean for all we know he could have made those words up
@@Sarahhhhhhhhhhhhh i really doubt that. They aren’t the type to fake evidence.
@@corazondonquixote i agree, they have (from what i’ve seen) multiple different people go over those audio clips to concur what is being said
Also the most coherent flashlight convo too
@@Sarahhhhhhhhhhhhh if u think that way, you're probably new here
Ryan crying like a baby gave me vivid flashbacks to him and Shane dressed as cats meowing on the staircase in bfu again. Truly our boys have the range any actor would kill for.
Or when they tried to seduce a ghost with their belly buttons
Also remember in the unsolved last season when they went to a place which is said to have a nurse who tucks you into bed, so they started making baby noises while lying on that bed, asking for that nurse to tuck them?
or when they dressed as pilgrims 😭🤣
@@daisyfields405 Shane had entirely too much fun dressed as a pilgrim.
Omg... This thread... The memories... 💜💜💜💜💜💜
i love this episode sm. it just really shows how good shane and ryans relationship is, and basically just gives you an idea of who exactly shane is. he goes from taking the piss out of a ghost, to getting levelled by a ghost, so then they start fighting, and when he requests to talk to that ghost later and gets no response decides that he has officially killed a ghost. 😭💀👊
I love the idea that there's a Ghost DJ named Night-time Dan, and he's just trying to get a dance party going while everyone is scared, just tickles me to no end lol
For the debrief: I have officially gone from a sceptic to a believer. Only so I can say that Shane has killed a spirit. He did the impossible.
He is a demon, he prolly does that on daily bases
I'm still a skeptic. How does that device work? Why don't they record what it hears back to us, it's an audio device isn't it?
If I have a ghost actually hit me I'd believe it.
That spirt died twice shouldn’t have messed with shane
@@heruhcanedean From what I’ve gathered it pretty much takes environmental factors (their examples being temperature and EMF readings) and collects data of the fluctuations and changes of those factors which can be processed and changed into words.
@@dazzlemiller3444 Which, of course, means nothing because there's no reason to believe that these specific environmental factors translate into specific words.
for the debrief: whatever dark energy was in that house was really toying with you in a personal way. it knew ryan’s fear of sally, it wasn’t shocked by (and kind of mocked) shane’s methods, then straight up threatened him. it was interactive in a way other spirits haven’t been. do encounters like this put you especially on edge?
^^^^!!!!!
I hope they answer this one!!!
This is a really good observation/question. I think if you want to increase the chances of it being answered, you should comment under their pinned comment at the top, the one asking for q's for the debrief.
This is a good question but you need to ask it on the pinned comment at the top of the comment section, otherwise they won’t answer it
good question i’d love to know this too
Shane saying he takes showers in the dark just confirms he is very much possessed…
He's possessing that body's owner
Showers in the dark are so relaxing tho.
I am more concerned by how accurate their crying baby impersonations are than the actual existence of the devil baby
It’s so wholesome that Sally goes on vacation to meet up with old friends.
Demon Sallie and Devil Baby are long-time pals.
It reminds of Sam and colby

Facts
They are the spooky season

I am AMAZED how good both of them are at doing baby cries
33:43 My heart dropped for a second. Ryan really has gotten more brave over the years:)
Shane fighting the ghost feels like a genuine interaction between two Chicago natives. It's strangely compelling and it was fucking hilarious to witness, especially paired with Ryan confusion when Shane tried to explain what the fuck had just gone down.
It's the most Chicago thing that could happen!
this is true, the ghosts at the Belmont station and I fight every morning!
I hope he enjoyed watching the footage as much as we did. XD
okay but Shane apparently fighting that ghost is genuinely the most solid evidence they've ever gotten
shane fist fighting a ghost with ryan's matching words is so funny 😆
shane is the PERFECT kind of guy you want at the other side of your estes method. he isnt all like “hey ghost where are you, do something now to prove youre real” he just, improvs. he actually interacts with the ghosts like people, as if theyre really there. he’s doing a great job using his acting skills and its the perfect conductor to hear the ghost or spirit or whichever react on the other side. its bloody brilliant.
stop being british
He doesn't believe in ghosts but you better believe he'll fight one if it tells him to bring it
Or as a skeptic he goes through great lengths to demonstrate the ridiculousness of the situation. Either way it is entertaining.
@@adolata318 or be more British
The day has finally come where we actually witnessed someone attempting to fight a ghost irl when we always see this go down in cartoons. I also knew it was gonna be Shane that was gonna throw hands at ghosts.
Shane is so right about hot showers in the dark. Its like getting your soul renewed
that fight/conversation shane had with the ghost was one of the most coherent spiritbox sessions you guys have had and it's absolutely beautiful
That "ghost" will also go down in history as the first spirit brave enough to attempt taunting Shane back.
bring it
I love that the spirit box was telling Shane to hide threatened him, but when he said okay to fighting back the spirit was like 'Oh shit he's actually gonna do it...Nvm bro."
I love it said “Scared” and Shane said, “I know you’re scared!” That man isn’t afraid of anything 🤣
To me it sounded like it said "hi", Shane misheard it as "hide" but the ghost corrected him, repeating "hi". Which is honestly really compelling to me.
Shane fighting the ghost is most definitely my favorite ghost interaction ever.
This is the equivalent content that I needed. Like you get done watching something scary but you need to watch something funny. No need for doing that with these guys. They always have me laughing so hard 🤣🤣
You know what would be a wild ass event for this series? IMAGINE IF Shane and Ryan getting an "apple tater" and "spaghetti" on the Spirit Box. I would lose my mind
better yet: on the ovilus
Choo choo pickle pie
I like to think ghosts talk to each other across the spiritual plane somehow and they talk about the ghoul boys lol. So Imagine the ghosts using the box to say “we’ve heard a lot you guys. I’ve been informed that you’re a bitch. Nice show you got tho, apparently.” Or something lmao. I’d love to see Shane try and explain that away 😂
I mean, third times the charm. If it happened again, that would be awesome ngl
that would really make the series 😅
I want Shane to have his own scientific tools to use, like a windsock, a decibel meter, an infrared camera, an air quality meter, a Geiger counter, stuff like that. With how yall talk about ghost farts and wind and annoying noises it'd be fun to see Shane have his own weapons
Retweet
It would be hilarious to see him pissed off everytime he had to use one. 😉
Give him a gun
Yeeeeaass 🤣🤣
This is the best idea I’ve ever seen
At exactly 38:58 right when it says fire as you are heading down the staircase. I think you possibly caught a shadow going into that room at the bottom of the stairs. It’s very quick but I’m certain that’s something people are missing.
Nah, it matches with the shadows created from the light and it doesn't look like a shadow figure
Yesssss I see it!! I slowed it wayyyyyyy down
I love these guys so much. Usually I hate ghost hunting shows because they are so fake. But these guys are awesome. They’re funny and keep it light hearted, and like they don’t put unnecessary sound effects and shit. It’s nice
Nighttime Dan who spins discs for money has got to be my favourite ghost to make an appearance on ghost files
Same 😂

I was absolutely fooled by shane's baby crying over the walkie-talkie just like ryan. ended up with a real good laugh.
@ same! I had to rewatch that part a couple times and even though we know it was Shane, I still kinda can’t wrap my head around it because it was just way too spot on
Literally. My heart dropped I was so scared 😭
It sounded like a cat to me. I figured there was a cat yowling.
I’m getting flashbacks to the video of ryan crying like a baby. Scariest thing to come out of this show.
@@seaborgium919 same! i was like ?? is there a campus cat?
I’ve watched all ghost files and the devil baby just has a special place in my heart 😂 Shane’s pointing out the ghost sticker and then fighting Mr. Hull, priceless 🤩
Shane going back and forth with a ghost while Ryan is doing the spirit box literally has me in tears laughing. Love you guys!!
The way the Ovilus said "DEVIL" was extremely creepy!
Shane's ghost fight was pretty compelling!
Great episode!
Lol I just saw this part and had to pause to see if someone else mentioned it!
It was somehow both compelling and blissfully stupid at the same time. XD I'm so confused!
And "Sally"
I'm really curious now, if the new ovilus have different tones for different words. Its a bit of a dick thing to do by the maker lol
