I know, I feel so guilty about that colony. I lost the save for them, and the edits to the last video I was working on for it 😭. I need to find a way to bring them back into the fold, and finish telling their tale.
When you're digging out new rooms, are you immediately adding a door to separate it from the main room? If not, it considers everything one room, and adds a ton of dirtiness until the excavated area is cleaned up. That might be what's upsetting your colonists.

I don't believe I used a mod that affected the muffalo. I'm still a noob when it comes to a lot of the game. What were the old muffalo?
