So I don't know if your interested in adding a mod mid game but I may have a mod that would be good story wise regarding the new child. There is a mod called Adoptive Relationships that if you have something like character editor you can have a adoptive relationship for the developing family out there on the ice.

Just theorizing here If flossie is a corporate spy, she may still be one, a corp that's targetting the magical fishing pole that cubone has! So they sent their most charismatic agent to a man who lives all alone! He must be very lonely and easily manipulated, but in the turn of event, flossie fell in love with cubone, maybe the future episodes might elaborate on the thoughts of flossie!

oh and check out the sauced meals mod. it lets you make meals out of sauces like simple and fine meals, that way you can actually use them and not have to wait to make gourmet meals

Surviving on the eternal ice is pretty hard without doing messed up stuff. The best vanilla way would be to prepare a base somewhere else and migrate once you have clothes, food and building material to build a durable base.

Yes! Ice sheet series! I loved AAs series as well. I love the twist you've put on the formula. I eagerly await more entries into this adventure.
