It’s owned by 1 person but that one person doesn’t make these songs he hires artist and people to make songs that’s why he managed to make so much songs he has his own band and group and editors
Ya, even his fanmade content. But that aside, I am so proud as a long time fan to see him do more and more original content. And now media content!? Even for an independent game, he should be proud to do a game soundtrack. To the moon for this artist, they literally have no limits. And they should be bigger way sooner.
Modern day music is unoriginal bops that just cross pollinate, with artist who hardly write their own lyrics and make all the instruments and sound, if there even is an instrument, blend together. It's trash. Independent artists are the future of music as an art anymore.

The song about Dr. Desmond Wales (Main Protagonist) and his inner demon self, Agent Rainbow (Main Antagonist) in the entire game. Desmond feeling guilty about his patients as he failed.
I love how the background is Rorschach tests, such a nice touch to a themesong for a psychological horror game.

I'm personally not a big fan of most of the songs in the zero_one album
I just finished the game and I was not expecting Desmond's song to be this intense, I was like "this lil nerd boi's greatest trauma is he unknowingly let his cat eat a flower that killed her, his song will probably be soft and melancholic" and then this banger turned on and blew my assumptions away, it's sweet how much he cared about everyone that he harbors so much guilt over their fates
I think its pretty clear that he has a paranoia and past regret from failing to fix his patients
Really wish I didn't read this until I finished the game...
U can tell he suffered the most from what agent rainbow told him but indeed i thought this was gonna be a classical or smthn but it was def surprising and awesome my favorite one is still me & the boys

Plus this paranoia and desperation to keep others safe ended up pushing his girlfriend away further isolating him from others. Plus some of what Rainbow said in the Allen tape kinda implied Desmond has resentment towards his family and might have been forced into his career choice.

Agent Rainbow singing the part’s that makes the song even better
It seems like not everyone really likes this song, but god, I love this so much. I really love the way it builds up and I like slow songs, I love how it gives off the same vibe as Chosen (one of my all time favorite TLT songs) Just beautiful and the piano is an amazing touch, all of the instruments work together so well.
Really, I don't see many ppl not liking it but I agree it's awesome

I reckon it's actually sung from Desmond's pov because as you see Desmond's 'guilty conscious' or Agent Rainbow singing it at the end and because that is a part of him, I would reckon that his bad side is singing it almost mockingly of how patients put so much faith in him and he feels as though he failed them. Implying again that that part of him is putting him down by singing that part of the song.

Pretty big chance its desmonds for the reasons already pointed out, i will mention tho that theres a bit thats played in a deeper tone which is certainly agent rainbows voice(cuz the similarity and the fact you actually see agent rainbow sing that bit in the game), which ofc is desmonds worse half which implies that the rest would be desmond aswell

The problem I had with that song was he took too long with other projects, and by the time he got to it, the flames died down.
A small detail I noticed ( starting 2:52 )
Compared to the AMV variant-which sounds much more unhinged and sure of itself, while simultaneously using the “Yellow Suit” man’s voice-this sounds much more cautious and tentative about the idea of “cutting loose.” Maybe even a little scared? Sorry?

The Thing That Made this Song more epic for me is That Agent Rainbow Also Sings it.
Not gonna lie but I listen to this because I've have problems on my life because this hurts me the most when I keep thinking how my parents would try to keep pestering, convince and persuade me to apply for a job career and they always bring up the subject I already heard enough " Life preparation and decisions " which it struck me in the heart when my parents mentioned it near ne when it comes to conversations about me and yet no matter I have to endure the struck ness it will always hurt bit by bit and yet I listen to this and it makes me want to die young but I can't because I have so much to live for
If you listen to the lyrics of the song, the "savior" he's talking about is death. A wee bit messed up if I do say so myself XD. Fantastic song TLT you did outstanding!
the only stuff i can connect with death is the how he likes the warm of the fire. thats pretty much it and only one character in the game seems to want him dead
That slower part near the end chorus does talk about how he found a good excuse to cut loose. The way he says it makes me think he might be having suicidal thoughts going through all this
@@vendybirdsvadl7472 My theory is that he has some kind of mental illness or autism or something that makes him feel like he's not in control of his own mind. (I've never played the game so that might be explained there). But yeah like it explains the parts where he says "No more bad behavior" and "My legs seem to move without me". He hates his own mind and wants his own self-destruction. The "lethal case of deja-vu" could possibly mean that it's a PTSD induced condition, but I'm not quite sure.
@@3G22-Alien in the game you wake up in an unknow world that seems to be your town but in more of apocalypse, the character you play as is an doctor whos been trying to help others peoples mental issues but so far it seems like most of the cases werent successful. In the world you collect tapes from your past patients and try to help the patient still in some way. There is also this character only communicating though phones and notes and it seems like he wants you to died like i said earlier in my last comment
The deeper voice in the song also kindla sounds like the character communicating with you thought phone and notes
The music in this game reminds me of Silent Hill. More horror games need to have standalone vocal soundtrack as it's also the identity of the game itself. Btw, I did not expect the protagonist voice actor is also a singer and because of that you can see this song also act as the protagonist's theme.

The day i ganed a gruge. And the day i lost one is exatly 4 years apart. Its today.
I love all the innuendos to the singer's mental health, especially temptation with "And I like how warm the fire can be." Guy's trying to fight his burning thoughts, and the mysterious character he references is the only one who can "screw his head on right".
This song paired with the actual game is so intense knowing what every word is referring to.
Dare I say this game is as powerful as silent hill 2 in how it handles mental health and depression and overcoming it.
Either way it is an amazing game and song and it will always be in my heart. This is an absolute gem of a product.

This honestly just makes Mick being replaced in Hazbin Hotel hurt even more. His singing and regular VA voice is way better for the role than the new guy
I'm in a tough spot because I love both of the voice actors, Mick Lauer is a really good voice actor and his few roles in in-person-acting are good too, but Keith David is a far more seasonal actor and voice actor, and his singing voice fits with Husks more Jazzy style. Coming from a person who likes them both, It makes sense they changed the voice actor, and I find it insane how they both voice the same character.

This song has been running in my mind for a week now and it's just so haunting yet beautifuly ethereal, like it's something out of this world, out of this reality, a song that I feel like it's touching the strings deep inside my mind. I absolutely love this song n it fits with the game so much. The sound is just so distinct and something I never heard before. It just scratches my brain the right way. The soundtrack for in sound mind is so beautiful n awesome. Such a great song, the tempo also fits, the game isn't meant to be fast, more slow n serious in a way, like basically descending into madness like how the game was. Very very good song
I love how these guys who started out making (admittedly amazing) songs for anything that was popular were able to branch out into making original music. Every one of these is so darn good, the talent and hard work is obvious. They could have gotten away with just churning out low effort songs for money and coasted on that, but instead they put 100% into everything they make and are getting to create non-fandom passion project type songs as well. Heck yeah.

the saviour is him or as being described by his patients, the song is originally sung by agent rainbow the alter ego created through the inhilation of the chemical of the same name.
agent rainbow called him the saviour in what felt like a sarcastic tone as he was going through his patients connected subconsiouns and exploring their issues on a deeper level. alas three of them were already dead such the sarcastic tone. this whole song is about him and his struggle to control whats happening to him with the agent and the sense of guilt he has from his patients.
not being able to integrate virginia back into the world making her feel loved.
not being able to convince allen that he is not weird making him feel normal.
not being able to get maxs life back together making him feel less useless.
and worst of all not being able to believe lucus making him feel less of a lunatic.
