This entire album is a metaphor for wanting to be someone else, but after you become them, you unconsciously replace your own unique personality with theirs, inevitably trapping yourself in a cycle of wishing to revert back, but not knowing what you're reverting back to.

I personally think the guy from "What I want" is TLT and serves as an outsider view from this whole story, it's like "What I want" shows us how TLT created the character zero_one, his story and motivations.
Buy yeah, he could still be the same guy from Drunk, just a few years earlier maybe, before he lost his hair and got a symbolic skull face.
Edit: I just realized, maybe the guy from "what I want" was zero_one's previous host, that would explain why he doesn't look like drunk guy and how that song still fits in the timeline

i can't put it into words how much this album means to me, it got me through some really awful times, i found it in just the perfect time in my life where i felt so unmotivated and upset with others, long time friends has been my favourite song in general for 2 years lol

According to the Living Tombstone Discord, any character with a name ending in "Guy" like Drunk Guy has no particular lore to them and is there only to add visual flavor to the music videos. That said, I see nothing wrong with using drunk guy to stand in for the singer here, as they have the same voice and are thus possibly the same character, design aside.

People have picked up this mask, people that want to be someone else, people who want to start again, only to be trapped within this entity's control, just like the person before them, and the cycle continues.
Not a mask but rather a computer virus, and zero_one seems to find people who are “nerdy” and had their lives go to crap, he does not take them against their will though, it’s more of a red pill or a blue pill choice, with the “blue pill” you can have zero_one turn things around for you but with the “red pill” you can try to turn your life around yourself or keep spiraling further downwards

@@SnazzleTuft It's definitely a mask since he outright says it's a mask, however definitely not a normal one. It's a mask that has been trying to find a match for thousands of years. In Zero_One's chorus, he says that if you try to read the code, all you'll find is software you can install, and this guy thought he could simply find the software and be fine. What Zero_One really means is that this guy needs to learn what life really means to him, get out of depression, become a better person, and then he can finally take control of his life.
Another interesting note is Zero_One says the mask is a machine, so this world must exist very far into the future or we've got some time travel shenanigans goin' on here.

@@firebolt2211 I measured them a while back when I determined this was the fastest part but I deleted them from wherever they were stored. Luckily, measuring syllables per second of a part is really easy: 1 - find a part that you want to measure the syllables per second. 2 - measure how long the part is in seconds. 3 - count the syllables in the part. 4 - divide the number of syllables by the number of seconds. Hope this helps
@@agentbankrupt I am not sure if i have done the math 100% correctly but I am pretty sure 3:28 - 3:36 is faster. I measured 57 syllables in 8 seconds and 7.1 syllables a second.

No lie, Tlt has been working so hard on these songs it makes so much sense to drop the album. Zero One has shown me a side Tlt never shows. How much work is put into these songs and videos. The song What I want has confirmed that these songs are worked on so much where he never catches a break. I feel bad bc this happens to so many youtubers. They work so hard just to make their viewers content. Tlt has given the example of the RUclipsr Life. RUclipsrs are happy on camera and in videos, but the sad truth and reality is they are stressed out everyday bc this is a way they make money. Take a break Tlt u need one after this album. Thank you the awesome new songs but please. Take a break.

God DAMN, one a day would have been fine. Most people put up videos like medication but you, you just gave it all like a handful of skittles to a kid.
Okay so crackpot theory, skull guy and zero one are the same person.
Both have their signature color of orange, both have a skull on their face, and this would explain how skull guy got a soda sponsorship deal. If he was a celebrity of course he would be able to get a deal. There's also the fact at the bar he is meeting up with old friends. Maybe because he's been so caught up with music?
Edit: Alright so after taking a bit of time looking at the videos, there are two routes the story is going.
Either this is a story about behind the scenes of TLT. Instead of skull guy and zero one being characters, they are different points,in TLT's life.
At some point they had sunk very low to an alcoholic. But eventually they got their life together and became TLT as we know it today. This would also explain them newest music video "what I want".
But there is also the option that this *is* about the characters and how skull goes from human to robot musician. This would explain the constant correlation between the two throughout the songs. Along with the lyrics going along with this.

Edit 2: Alright my theory is a little off but I still think it's supposed to be the same kind of idea. Skull guy didn't get his life together, he literally was changed to do the music. So the theory is really the same with skull guy still going on to fame with the band just because of the symbiote. Still haven't gotten the whole thing yet but it's still fun.
And as theory's are supposed to be, there's always going to be flaws or information I didn't have beforehand. I wrote the original comment at about midnight, so my brain wasn't fully together. But hey, it's fun to have two of some of the highest liked comments on my favorite bands songs. Who knows, maybe I'll go for Despacito next. Thanks for reading through my tale of woah. Long time friend: skull guy getting depressed because he's alone
Zero_One: daughter works on a way to bring her father back to life
Animal: skull guys mind going into his new body
Fly Home: skull guys mind is finished
Chosen: it is complete and skull guy has woken up in the future, the computer at the end is his daughters and left behind her work because she lost hope
