I love how the robot starts with very stiff and hard movements but as the music goes on he gets more and more erratic, shows How he still is human inside, Just trying too hard not to be
Notice how at 2:51 the robot breaks down when the song says it’s back to square one. And then all the note blocks all drop down on it. They had to completely restart what they were doing because of an imperfection and all the problems they already dealt with all sprang at the character at the same time since he already used up so much of it.

It’s kinda disturbing to watch a malfunctioning robot flail around and see the person inside get knocked around by its violent movements. Anyways I love this song!
I love how this could represent no matter how you try to “robot-focus” yourself, the anxieties and fears a human feels eventually break down the facade and walls a person tried to put up-especially with the constant obstacles being thrown.
This is really fun to slice to, and I can't help thinking that Johny 5 is singing the song-- and maybe also Fugitoid-- it sounds a lot like them! Nice work!
I ain't gonna lie, as soon as I played this song on Beat Saber, I starting losing my crap because of how fire the beat is. One of the best songs I have ever heard, absolutely amazing job.
As someone who feels broken because of their mental health but has high expectations for themselves and what they know they can accomplish, and feels that if they could just get rid of the chemicals to just be a machine, this song has made me feel more seen that any other piece of media I’ve ever seen
As someone with optic nerve damage leading to legal blindness, diagnosed adhd and suspected autism this song honestly is so relatable. I want to be a machine, i want to be able to replace my feulty parts and be better, someone replace my optic nerve, my brain, my body, my everything just so i csn function, and either so i can stop being a perfectionist or achieve perfection
@@nuggetcjboyyt5663 Legally blind means that one is not necessarily completely blind, just blind to a very high degree. In my case i can only see 10% on my left eye and 0 on the other. leading to a total of 5% eyesight in both eyes. This really describes what it's like for me to have depression . The constant feeling that something is missing or not functioning. The need to be happy and "normal" the pills i take and the daily routine to keep mine off of everything. Such a great song
The end part could be an homage to the time where TLT had that time he posted Red and Blue Versions the ending being the red one. Also I love seeing Pedro on the video again. He's been with you for so long and I'm glad he still is :)
You know, I keep talking about how this song is uncomfortably relatable. But this is… possibly the most a song has hit home for me. After I had finished school, and went to college (which is essentially school for like 16-18 year olds where I come from, before someone goes to university), I was already so burned out from years of constant bullying, but I wanted to chase my dreams of becoming an actor nonetheless. I was scared that the bullying would just continue, so what did I do? I became apathetic, I became emotionless- I became a machine. It sucked. In academic subjects, it was great! I was able to focus, and get the work done. In the creative ones, though? My talent tanked. Acting needs a human touch. ART needs a human touch. This machine I desired to be to protect myself just ended up making me feel even more vulnerable. I’m still not entirely out of that phase, even after finishing my uni degree in drama. I still struggle to become an actor proper, I still struggle with those demons that make me desire to just be emotionless, to just be able to work and work and work without burning out. I guess the point of this rant is: thanks for this song, TLT.
I’d like to recommend the music artist Takayan. I don’t know about your taste in music or your tolerability to Japanese, but his songs were relatable and comforting for me so I’d definitely say to check out a few. Again the artist’s name is: Takayn/たかやん and you can find him on yt
I'm currently going through artblock and the lyrics feel so relatable at the moment. I feel like I've been under this pressure to churn out a drawing every couple of days and now the power cord's broken, and I just can't drive myself to concentrate on anything anymore.
"You can't rush art" broski. Why are you trying to churn out pieces every day? That's not how art works. You make a piece when you are inspired to make a piece, otherwise it's not art. It's just image production.
@@sebaschan-uwu Partially it was the pressure of social media presence, and partially it was due to school. It would be nice if professors let us make our assignments when we're inspired to, but unfortunately they expect illustrations every week.
Me: "Oh, the robot is playing beat saber... how cool, that must mean that the actual level isn't that hard" Also "Me: Never in my life have I been so betrayed before"
As someone who has been struggling all my life with what I suspect now it's ADHD or ADD, this hits close to home. Also, it's a pretty catchy & nice song :)
personally... caffeine helps self-medicate heavy adhd if used in controlled amounts. a cup of sweet coffee to sip through a tough task will make it go a lot smoother, or down it all at once and force hyperfocus lol.
@@yasininn76 For what I have read, threatment drugs are very "hit or miss" things. Some substances work on some people while they do nothing on others and viceversa, and finding the right ones is pretty important. Caffeine is nowadays being medically used to threat kids who are responsive to it, so it might work just fine for some people, while for others it doesn't. For me is like a so-so thing. Around two months ago I was drinking at work a Monster dayly, mixed with 2 liters of low sugar cola, and when I quit that my performance plummeted (I was burnt out anyway, but it got worse, so "back to square one"). The doctor seeing me wants to try a dopamine-focused antidepressant before trying the anphetamines route, lets see how it goes.
While I am just as hyped to see TLT come so far (truely congrats man), I don't see as many people talking about the meaning as I feel like this one us definitely hiding a message unlike some songs. For me it's about a man that's being crushed by his modern life and feels that he can't be perfect so wants to be a machine, and despite the action to take better care (maybe it's the pills i take) he's getting nowhere (back to square one), which sadly is kinda relatable to a good few of us.
I think I understand what this song means. So as humans we strive to be perfect, or like a robot. When we finally are, we are trapped into being perfect and are not human anymore. We are then just machines.
Nae, I'd say we as humans see robots as perfection, they can do a lot of things at the same time even better than we do but we don't realize that even robots suffer from the same problems that humans have. As examples: overclocking, overheating - stress, burnouts and it's just pointless? idk just showering thoughts😅
@@xdemonwarrior9x4 Isn't moreso someone (the singer in this case) wanting to shed their human skin because they want rid themselves of all those "humanistic" and often unnecessary feelings? Robots physically can't feel stress, they don't break under pressure, they're twice as fast (according to the song), don't doubt themselves etc? I suppose one could see this song as somewhat of a rant, a rant by someone tired of being human.
I used to be a perfectionist when I was younger, it still shines through at times, nothing is better than something that’s not perfect or finished, you used to be better, you’ve fallen fat from grace, you could be doing something better with your time, do better with your life, ect. This captures this so much, the constant panic attacks, breakdowns, burn out, searching for something new so people don’t think you’ve ran out of ideas or your not as graceful as before.
I just realised They predicted one of the stories in one of the fnaf books where a kid wanted to become a anamtronic and he did (He realised he didn't want to and he got crushed in a junk yard
I reaaaaally relate to that, and because I'm still rather young and the wounds are fresh, my extreme burnout that I myself caused irritates me everyday. Do more, do better, be more, be better. It's all I can hear in my head. I wish all of us recovering perfectionists the best of luck. You got this, guys.
“Heart goes boom, trapped in a padded room, a womb for powerless flowers who can’t bloom..” Absolutely genius, after hearing so many sloppily written rap lyrics over the past decade about drugs and girls, this is so refreshing, true poetry

I love how this could represent no matter how you try to “robot-focus” yourself, the anxieties and fears a human feels eventually break down the facade and walls a person tried to put up-especially with the constant obstacles being thrown.
Thats how I interpreted it too!
This is really fun to slice to, and I can't help thinking that Johny 5 is singing the song-- and maybe also Fugitoid-- it sounds a lot like them! Nice work!

Wild to me that what feels a lot like TLT’s vent song turned out to be the possibly the best banger in Beat Saber’s OST
Like damn dude went hard
the best works in any form of art usually come from intense emotion, so it makes sense that a vent song would be a bop

I WANT-
I WANT TO BE A MACHINE :$
I guess the point of this rant is: thanks for this song, TLT.
same
You got this keep pushing through and everything will be ok
I hope you manage to become an actor like you hope to. It's hard but i know you can do it!
You've got this!! Always keep your head up
I’d like to recommend the music artist Takayan. I don’t know about your taste in music or your tolerability to Japanese, but his songs were relatable and comforting for me so I’d definitely say to check out a few.
Again the artist’s name is: Takayn/たかやん and you can find him on yt

Love to see it.
Seriously though, this song's a banger.
I'm currently going through artblock and the lyrics feel so relatable at the moment. I feel like I've been under this pressure to churn out a drawing every couple of days and now the power cord's broken, and I just can't drive myself to concentrate on anything anymore.
It gets better, friend :)
"You can't rush art" broski. Why are you trying to churn out pieces every day? That's not how art works. You make a piece when you are inspired to make a piece, otherwise it's not art. It's just image production.

This song feels like a mix of old and new TLT, brilliant!
Its such a perfect mix
Was thinking that too.
@@xdemonwarrior9x4 just make a better machine, you cant make a better human
More like we wish to be robots if just so we don’t have to deal with our flaws and inner struggles
I feel like it’s a comment on how much people are striving to achieve machine-like perfection in terms of Beat Saber
I just realised They predicted one of the stories in one of the fnaf books where a kid wanted to become a anamtronic and he did
(He realised he didn't want to and he got crushed in a junk yard
I'm also a recovering perfectionist but I don't know how else to be so I'm not very successful in my road to recovery
