I wish gravette had his own tv show or something. These are great but they're not nearly enough. We need a filmer following this dude everywhere he goes!
Honestly, if his interviewing skills are at the level, he could easily host a late night show for skaters. Kinda like Podcast x Skateline you know, but not quite - Late Night Puffs with D. Gravette, featuring guests That would be the dopest sickest skate show ever, for real.
I absolutely love watching David Gravette. Laughed out loud at the huge Pier 1 manny pad. Didn't know he was having surgery, but heal up soon man, can't wait to see you back on your board
All this crazy rain ripping is actually a killer testament to the strength of Bronson Speed Co Hyperdrive Fast Af Sharks Shootin Lasers n' Explosions n' Shit Bearings. This is the dopest series ever. Get that boy some cyborg legs and keep it rolling
@@chris_auernhammer Just take your bearings out and dry them, dry down your board best you can and your all good to go again, I wouldn't do it everyday but you can get away with it if you need to.
For real, the park actually looks fun. Surprised there aren't any local rippers who were kids when that was built, who are in the comments. If you grew up skating that spot, you are a certified savage.
This is one of the better parks they've had on this series, most of the parks are pretty much unskateable but this one has decent ground and a few good obstacles. Gravette was ripping too! That boardslide where he stalled on the rail and went backwards was sick.
This park only looks okay because David does an excellent job at skating it. I guess it's just too gnarly to be really skateable by "normal" skaters. Have you seen how high this manny pad is?
@@ericduminil I'm not saying it's great but if I had to skate one of the parks in this series. You could just skate the manny pad like a drop and the concrete banks are steep but not shitty ground or awkward transition.
@@ericduminil yeah all I'd be able to do is try and probably fail to 5050 the hubba and do a couple ollies and 180s off the manual pad, maybe a kick flip if I was lucky. I just think the other parks usually have such shitty ground/transition you can't even do flat ground tricks at them, at least the ground here looks decent.
This is my fav skate series man. Watching David rip up crappy parks with obstacles that 90% of us would never touch is so rad. Seeing him 5-0 an 8 stair hubba with ease is so cool
Growing up skating in the midwest. This is a part of life hah. Crappy parks, cold, and rain. I appreciate someone who can skate this well in these conditions. 👌
This was my skatepark growing up. It did used to have a 6 foot quarter pipe with stand up top and a pyramid with flat spot and rail on it that was in the flat section of the park. The kicker is still the same and it could be moved around.
@@roccy5735 I love this one year later. There used to be a bowling alley in the same parking lot. I remember watching a dude hit the kicker, do a kickflip, when he landed his board was sideways and he broke both of his feet in half. His puffy DC shoes bent in half like a waffle over the skateboard. It was a sight to see. Me and the homies didn't have cell phones back then. We had to run over to the bowling alley and have them call 911. Ambulance got there super quick, only 2 miles away. They cut his shoes off, he was crying like crazy. ✌️
When you are back on your feet, check out the two skate parks in Longview Wa. One was built in the 70s the other is newer but still crusty. Speedy recovery David!
I was a skater in the late 80s early 90s I'm a fifty-year-old man now and watching this guy's videos made me go out and get aboard and it's a creature board I love this dudes style 👍
David was the first contemporary skater I fell in love with watching after growing up in the 90s. This man is so genuine, so enthusiastic, so open to trying new things. I am probably 6 years older, and have lived half as much as him
My best friend used to live right up the street from this park and this video was randomly recommended to me by RUclips, I was like this park looks so familiar 😂
Haha, nice! There used to be a pyramid with a rail and another small 1/4 pipe made by the same company that made the metal kicker. There was always a huge skill level gap from "fun" obstacles to the death sized ones. 🤣 You guys killed it! p.s. When the water is down, there is a great run just downstream of that spot that hold some good fish!
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen. David G is the best! Like better than I ever knew. This just kept going and going. Liked, subscribed, and now I need to go watch the whole series.
David, There is a bad ass salmon run right behind the police station like one minute from that park. Ps, let me buy a wooley bugger board please!!! I've never wanted a wall board more ...
hey you guys know you've added the same video twice with two different titles? Love this series tho, Gravette is perfect for it. His skating, his humour, his laidback approach to presenting, it's all just right, and super relatable. Looking forward to more of these
So sick seeing this is a park in WA. I feel like Washington has its fair share of janky parks but in the past 5 years there has been a lot of parks being built north of Seattle.
Woah, I came across that jersey barrier qp thing with a free sign on it in a Portland driveway about 6 months ago. I almost took it home but I didn’t wanna attempt to load it into my van alone. Glad someone brought it out there to die. I’ll bet it was fun while it lasted.
The greatest series returns.
Gravette inspired me to start my own "worst skatepark ever" series, Canadian version
It makes you value what you have 😂
David always finds a way to rip some of the shittiest shit.

Totally agree!! Get this man a show @viceland
It’d be so good! 🔥
Could not agree more, can’t get enough.
Get NKA or one of those guys following Andy around to film
I do not want David to skate these shitty and wet spots because he should not get hurt again😂
Lol I know right
Kayak dave, BMX dave, wet pavement sketchy dave
he was already getting surgery anyways was I think his fried take xD
Im wishing that was my local so I could have skates with mr. David
anyone know what hes getting surgery on? what happened?
Dude always amazes me. He can skate anything with the oddest tricks
It's refreshing the way he skates. Skateboarding needs more dave gravette!
If u mean the flamingos I guess. How is it the oldest tricks lol.
@@shaunvanslyke6386 oddest tricks. Things most people wouldn't think of at these spots
I've passed by this skatepark a million times, and I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE SKATE THIS PARK

You have now.
Love how genuine and raw this series feels, almost like I’m there skating with you guys, vibes are immaculate.

I mean like no bearing is gonna give up just cause u ride it a few hours in the rain… they‘ll just suck afterwards. As well as your deck.

Only Gravette can make a shitty park look fun and make you want to skate there too!!! This episode was like a Christmas present 🎁 under the tree

Doesn't really look fun, it's too small.
I would say check out the park in Chewelah Washington, but that’s like 5 hrs away and just not worth the drive lol
What a legend ! Skating a shitty park like that under pouring rain and still ripping and having fun ! True skateboarder right there !
The park goes from reasonably cool to “help I fell and need a tetanus shot” in less than a couple feet

One of the best personalities out there in skating right now. Entertaining and funny. Great work.
You should go to Concrete WA. That place sucks but you could shred
If I had this skatepark when I grew up I’d have been so happy.

Thx guys, I really appreciate you highlighting the amazing versatile parks we have in the NW.
This was like twice as impressive as most people's actual parks. Gravette is nuts.
I grew up in camas and I remember when they were building this, what we got was not the og plans they fucked up what could of been a good park
Even after 20 years of watching skateboarind I'm still amazed at how good pro's are at skating.

David is up there with Andy Roy and Sharney as the best Fall'r in skateboarding. Funny every time. There is style in how you fall 😆
Most important trick to learn in skateboarding is falling!
This is awesome. Re watch once now and then, still warm footage.
I’d love to watch Dave and Andy skate a spot in the rain together

I can watch Gravette all day. Love this series

Another reason why David is the best skater, the man practically skates to make enough money to cover his hospital bills. Thats fucking passion innit.

Having this park as my local gives me depression. It use to be at least decent before ppl stole ramps.

that looked like instant regret after jumping in the river
The hippie jump and then the finger flip is one of my fav lines I’ve seen in awhile
