Going out skating and not learning a new trick or just having a small 1 hr sesh every few days or so is ok! Everyone remember skating isn’t always about progression it’s not a race it’s just simply about leaving reality of life and going out skating for your mental health and exercise

Also the 9 stair was gnarly, I know it might not look that crazy on camera but 9 is a lot. Also the bricks surface not sure how smooth or difficult it is to skate on it but you couldn't pick more "nyc kinda style" street spot! So kudos to that. It’s discouraging. But if you can get back to it after breaking your leg, there’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to. Thanks for the motivation.
As a novice skater who has skates off and on since I was 12 (I’m 25) I’m more comfortable trying g to boardslide the rail on the 9 set then just ollie’ng it straight up!!! My Ollie’s aren’t straight
That 9 stair set is difficult to skate cause the landing is downhill. In the air the set feels bigger than it actually is. Also, the bricks are dirty and always slick. Great to see you on a board again.
