Glad to find this hidden gem. Great work My Man! As a bass player I really enjoy playing songs from this album more than any other Albums. Like, Chris is really showing his muscle on every song.
🇫🇷 La vidéo est disponible avec des sous-titres en français et en anglais ! 🇬🇧 English and French subtitles are now available ! Do you like the format of this video ? If so, would you be interested in the same kind of video for Absolution, BH&R, The Resistance, etc... ?
Wow thanks for your comment !! I was a big fan of Nick Caville so I loved your videos with Jason Youn for ZetaSky. Too bad you’re not making videos anymore, they were awesome to watch ! :D
I always thought of making something like this because the internet is full of incorrect tabs. Glad you did. I see you got the amp aswell. Does that amp do a lot to your sound? On New born: That F in the chorus, i guess he does a bend to the F# then? makes more sense On Hyper music: Also always played it on the open D string. Gave it a good listen again and i hear open strings definitely. He starts on the A string A: 5 5 07 08 8 010 0 Then further on the D string D: 7 7 09 010 10 012 0 D: 5 5 05 05 5 05 05 5 07 09 9 Then the last part again on the A string A: 04 0 On Micro Cuts: Omg i always heard 16th notes. You blew my mind, makes so much more sense haha. On Feeling good: I guess he does it on the A sting from the 10th note. Octaver effects seem to glitch faster on higher string and low string high up have more body. On the album he uses a up-right bass for the megaphone part. Again. Insane job you did. Thanks for sharing this and putting your hard work into making it.
Thanks for your comment ! I hope you are not disappointed with what I did, I had the same feeling as you about what we can find on the internet. I never used the amp to record anything on my channel, but it sure does sound very good for rock tones in general, and Muse old ones obviously !
For new born I watched a lot of lives but he really seems to play an F, but F# sounds better... I guess you are right for Hyper Music, it might be a mix between open D string and 5th on A string. Thanks for your comment, you’re the only one who seemed to enjoy this as much as I do !
its a very bass driven album. and you did great effort and all.. what is dislike.. you are a little up front for my taste.. play a little more laid back and it's perfect.. cheers! :)
Glad to find this hidden gem.

@@museanalysed Nice! i edit my comment with some side notes i found. Love to hear your thought on it.
@@museanalysed Also i cant believe that after 20 years of deconstructing this album i'm still learning new things!

@@museanalysed Haha i do indeed!
Awesome! I'm thinking about learning bass, which song do you think is the easiest to learn on OOS?
Great ! I think Screenager would be great to start. Have fun !
How did you get on. Did you learn the full album
