Then secondary quests in the 70's Turkish Psyche then Byzantine, Arab and Assyrian Christian chants and I finally arrived here after listening to ancient slavic pagan music and synthwave on the same day ! I discovered Ozgur Baba because of you and I enjoy it very much, thank you !
By doing this unique side quest in listening to 80-90s Japanese jazz for a full day I managed to get a reward which is the RUclips algorithm recommending me this.
I happened to be listening to this and Masayoshi Takanaka's prog stuff for a year or two. Combine that with Jojo fans usually being Jrock fans that get exposed to prog by looking up the names Araki uses and you get a bridge between experimental Japanese music and the stoner side of rock.
I'm going through some serious changes in my life, at 39 years old. After using drugs and alcohol for almost 20 years, my life was in ruins. I found myself homeless, and in and out of hospitals due to underlying and quite serious health issues. This album got me through the darkest of those days. I'd listen to it every chance I got. Now that I'm in recovery, I can listen to it again! I've been sober for 51 days today. Sitting here jamming out, and enjoying being me. Truly incredible. It's amazing how much music has helped me on this incredibly tough, challenging, and brutal journey. I'm not always happy that I'm sober today, but I know it's the best choice I've ever made. I'm finally finding out what makes me tick. Thank you for making this incredible music. I cannot do anything to possibly repay you. Just know that there's someone out there who loves what you do, and making this album was worth it.
To the people who discovered this album or this genre in general. There's a series of compilation albums called "Weedian", they explore "stoner rock" around the world by country. You are in for a big surprise. :D

in october my girlfriend and me were driving through greece by car , we passed ioannina three days before youtube algorithm led me to this album...We were driving through mani/peloponnes, with all its beautiful breathtaking landscape, from mighty foggy mountains (there was a thunderstorm on this day), green wooded hills and the beautfiul deep blue sea as I decided to give it a try...What than happened was pure magic...It was overwhelming to hear this as the soundtrack to this breathtaking view, my girlfriend could not hold back her tears...Thank you very much for this album! Ancient greek Askavlos, and Balkan Clarinet, interchanging and overlapping high output humbuckers from a Les Paul. Mighty basslines accompany snare drums, ride and crush cymbals, in a rhythmic wave. All of these with the most fitting stoner vocals. Very good production. Wonderful songwriting. This will be a classic album for this generation, and the ones to come in the future. Great stuff!!!

So glad I found my way here after years of curating my feed. It's nice to discover and experience more dark post rock. Guitars, acoustic and electric, are just such a beautiful-sounding instruments.
I have listened to this album over and over again, dozens and dozens of times over the last years. It still gives me goosebumps and it is still inspiring to the point that it seems to awaken some sensation of... awe and... amazement within me. Every single time.

Absolutely shocked at how I accidently stumbled upon this album. I almost stopped working on my project coz i couldn't find something good to listen to, but this album found me somehow. This is some legendary shit.
The thing is i have never had a revelation so big in my entier life. Listening to this gave me back the hope that everything will be ok in my life. It shoked me to hear so deep and meaningful lyrics, as well as authentic greek folk music combied in such a tasteful manner with metal. And also, listening to this at 4 in the morning, in complete darkness, made my imagination gone wild. Thank you so much for your music. It made me happy in a low point of my life. Thank you!

I knew about this album, and listened it in the past... not sure why it did not grab me back then, but I kept it in my car's playlist. Something happened just before the end of the year of 2021. I was on a long trip, snowy everywhere, this album started and I decided to leave it going... One week later... can't stop listening to it, few times manly tears of joy and revelation went down from my eyes. As someone said in the comments somewhere: The more I listen, the more I feel becoming the man in the song. Or, was I always him? Man Greece sure has the US beat with rock music right now for sure. This album sounds like one of those absolute classics from the more intelligent forward thinking "Indie" rock bands right around year 2000 or so. Like the album you throw on with a few chill friends over and just let play and enjoy. Good stuff gentleman. Perfect mix of energy, mood, emotion, awesome production while still being raw! And has that timeless sound to it. Bravo. And this is from a 42 Yr rock musician birthed in the heyday of seattle rock and still here and still hopefully bands like this will keep things going.
I am a fan of rock music and if I need to listen to Greek rock, then that is what TF I am going to do now. I also feel it very difficult to enjoy new music. I can dig this! It's great!
My girlfriend and I found this album on RUclips about a year and a half ago and as a Music Fan and a record shop owner, I purchased the hell out of this album and have promoted and exposed others to this masterpiece. It's the 'Parlor's Album of the Year the year it was released on Lp and CD. I feel privileged to listen to this when I do.

To be honest i cannot explain in words the way this albul makes me feel. It feels like the songs carefully bypass all of the walls guarding my heart to directly speak to my soul. It has been almost a year since a discovered this album and not a week has passed without me listening to it. No matter how i am feeling (depressed, angry, happy) the songs just hit it right, make me feel heard, listened to, alive. This album is up there together with the initial muse and evanescence albums that i always went back to for the past decade. Truly a masterpiece

A true masterpiece. Since I discovered this album, I just cannot get enough of it I don't think I've ever had an album Take My Breath Away. An absolute masterpiece.
So it's almost 10 PM here, and the electricity in my neighborhood has been out for hours due to a wind storm. I'm sitting in my back yard gazing up at the universe. The sky is so clear and bright. This is the perfect time and perfect place to discover this album. I'm about 15 minutes in and floating away into the ether. I don't wanna come down.
This band and album is fantastic. The lyrics are thoughtful and passionate. The instrumentals are excellent and patient, as if the artists playing them know they could play at a faster tempo and still be good, but that they are in no rush and by taking their time, they work in synchronization to create a masterpiece. Part V feels like a journey through a heart-felt confession and revelation
Came home from their concert 2 hrs ago in Belgrade. What an experience.. 🙌👏🤘well done neighbours, a class act!! Entrance and for the inoccent were so damn good, not to forget millennial blues witch was such a refreshment!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘

in october my girlfriend and me were driving through greece by car , we passed ioannina three days before youtube algorithm led me to this album...We were driving through mani/peloponnes, with all its beautiful breathtaking landscape, from mighty foggy mountains (there was a thunderstorm on this day), green wooded hills and the beautfiul deep blue sea as I decided to give it a try...What than happened was pure magic...It was overwhelming to hear this as the soundtrack to this breathtaking view, my girlfriend could not hold back her tears...Thank you very much for this album! Ancient greek Askavlos, and Balkan Clarinet, interchanging and overlapping high output humbuckers from a Les Paul. Mighty basslines accompany snare drums, ride and crush cymbals, in a rhythmic wave. All of these with the most fitting stoner vocals. Very good production. Wonderful songwriting. This will be a classic album for this generation, and the ones to come in the future. Great stuff!!!

Absolutely shocked at how I accidently stumbled upon this album. I almost stopped working on my project coz i couldn't find something good to listen to, but this album found me somehow. This is some legendary shit.
The thing is i have never had a revelation so big in my entier life. Listening to this gave me back the hope that everything will be ok in my life.
It shoked me to hear so deep and meaningful lyrics, as well as authentic greek folk music combied in such a tasteful manner with metal. And also, listening to this at 4 in the morning, in complete darkness, made my imagination gone wild.
Thank you so much for your music. It made me happy in a low point of my life. Thank you!

I knew about this album, and listened it in the past... not sure why it did not grab me back then, but I kept it in my car's playlist.
Something happened just before the end of the year of 2021. I was on a long trip, snowy everywhere, this album started and I decided to leave it going...
One week later... can't stop listening to it, few times manly tears of joy and revelation went down from my eyes.
As someone said in the comments somewhere: The more I listen, the more I feel becoming the man in the song.

This music takes my soul out into the universe, like I'm travelling through time and space, and I don't need to be on drugs to do it 🎉, 😅,transcendental experience, out of this world, incredible music with pearls of wisdom, locked within the lyrics!!!
Man Greece sure has the US beat with rock music right now for sure. This album sounds like one of those absolute classics from the more intelligent forward thinking "Indie" rock bands right around year 2000 or so. Like the album you throw on with a few chill friends over and just let play and enjoy. Good stuff gentleman. Perfect mix of energy, mood, emotion, awesome production while still being raw! And has that timeless sound to it. Bravo. And this is from a 42 Yr rock musician birthed in the heyday of seattle rock and still here and still hopefully bands like this will keep things going.

To be honest i cannot explain in words the way this albul makes me feel. It feels like the songs carefully bypass all of the walls guarding my heart to directly speak to my soul. It has been almost a year since a discovered this album and not a week has passed without me listening to it. No matter how i am feeling (depressed, angry, happy) the songs just hit it right, make me feel heard, listened to, alive. This album is up there together with the initial muse and evanescence albums that i always went back to for the past decade. Truly a masterpiece

I have to say, after listening to this album for a couple of years I have come to the conclusion that this may be one of the best prog rock albums I have ever heard. Truly, truly underrated stuff

wow, definitely one of the best pieces I had the honour and the joy of listening to. this is absolutely awe- and wholesome. especially the kaval, reminds me of my family's ancestral homeland Greece (yes, we're from Athina).

So it's almost 10 PM here, and the electricity in my neighborhood has been out for hours due to a wind storm. I'm sitting in my back yard gazing up at the universe. The sky is so clear and bright. This is the perfect time and perfect place to discover this album. I'm about 15 minutes in and floating away into the ether. I don't wanna come down.

This band and album is fantastic. The lyrics are thoughtful and passionate. The instrumentals are excellent and patient, as if the artists playing them know they could play at a faster tempo and still be good, but that they are in no rush and by taking their time, they work in synchronization to create a masterpiece. Part V feels like a journey through a heart-felt confession and revelation
Came home from their concert 2 hrs ago in Belgrade. What an experience.. 🙌👏🤘well done neighbours, a class act!! Entrance and for the inoccent were so damn good, not to forget millennial blues witch was such a refreshment!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
