Then secondary quests in the 70's Turkish Psyche then Byzantine, Arab and Assyrian Christian chants and I finally arrived here after listening to ancient slavic pagan music and synthwave on the same day ! I discovered Ozgur Baba because of you and I enjoy it very much, thank you !
By doing this unique side quest in listening to 80-90s Japanese jazz for a full day I managed to get a reward which is the RUclips algorithm recommending me this.
I happened to be listening to this and Masayoshi Takanaka's prog stuff for a year or two. Combine that with Jojo fans usually being Jrock fans that get exposed to prog by looking up the names Araki uses and you get a bridge between experimental Japanese music and the stoner side of rock.

I'm going through some serious changes in my life, at 39 years old. After using drugs and alcohol for almost 20 years, my life was in ruins. I found myself homeless, and in and out of hospitals due to underlying and quite serious health issues. This album got me through the darkest of those days. I'd listen to it every chance I got. Now that I'm in recovery, I can listen to it again! I've been sober for 51 days today. Sitting here jamming out, and enjoying being me. Truly incredible. It's amazing how much music has helped me on this incredibly tough, challenging, and brutal journey. I'm not always happy that I'm sober today, but I know it's the best choice I've ever made. I'm finally finding out what makes me tick. Thank you for making this incredible music. I cannot do anything to possibly repay you. Just know that there's someone out there who loves what you do, and making this album was worth it.

in october my girlfriend and me were driving through greece by car , we passed ioannina three days before youtube algorithm led me to this album...We were driving through mani/peloponnes, with all its beautiful breathtaking landscape, from mighty foggy mountains (there was a thunderstorm on this day), green wooded hills and the beautfiul deep blue sea as I decided to give it a try...What than happened was pure magic...It was overwhelming to hear this as the soundtrack to this breathtaking view, my girlfriend could not hold back her tears...Thank you very much for this album! The blues pentatonic scale, meeting with the pentatonic rhythms of ancient greek music of Epirus. Ancient greek Askavlos, and Balkan Clarinet, interchanging and overlapping high output humbuckers from a Les Paul. Mighty basslines accompany snare drums, ride and crush cymbals, in a rhythmic wave. All of these with the most fitting stoner vocals. Very good production. Wonderful songwriting. This will be a classic album for this generation, and the ones to come in the future. Great stuff!!!

I have listened to this album over and over again, dozens and dozens of times over the last years. It still gives me goosebumps and it is still inspiring to the point that it seems to awaken some sensation of... awe and... amazement within me. Every single time.

I knew about this album, and listened it in the past... not sure why it did not grab me back then, but I kept it in my car's playlist. Something happened just before the end of the year of 2021. I was on a long trip, snowy everywhere, this album started and I decided to leave it going... One week later... can't stop listening to it, few times manly tears of joy and revelation went down from my eyes. As someone said in the comments somewhere: The more I listen, the more I feel becoming the man in the song. Or, was I always him? The thing is i have never had a revelation so big in my entier life. Listening to this gave me back the hope that everything will be ok in my life. It shoked me to hear so deep and meaningful lyrics, as well as authentic greek folk music combied in such a tasteful manner with metal. And also, listening to this at 4 in the morning, in complete darkness, made my imagination gone wild. Thank you so much for your music. It made me happy in a low point of my life. Thank you!

My girlfriend and I found this album on RUclips about a year and a half ago and as a Music Fan and a record shop owner, I purchased the hell out of this album and have promoted and exposed others to this masterpiece. It's the 'Parlor's Album of the Year the year it was released on Lp and CD. I feel privileged to listen to this when I do.
So it's almost 10 PM here, and the electricity in my neighborhood has been out for hours due to a wind storm. I'm sitting in my back yard gazing up at the universe. The sky is so clear and bright. This is the perfect time and perfect place to discover this album. I'm about 15 minutes in and floating away into the ether. I don't wanna come down.
Don't know how, but youtubes algorithm has been on point lately. I'm glad to have discovered these guys before it was 10 years too late like most bands.
Man Greece sure has the US beat with rock music right now for sure. This album sounds like one of those absolute classics from the more intelligent forward thinking "Indie" rock bands right around year 2000 or so. Like the album you throw on with a few chill friends over and just let play and enjoy. Good stuff gentleman. Perfect mix of energy, mood, emotion, awesome production while still being raw! And has that timeless sound to it. Bravo. And this is from a 42 Yr rock musician birthed in the heyday of seattle rock and still here and still hopefully bands like this will keep things going.

A lot of my compatriots pretend to be the true connoisseurs of music and try to degrade any greek band who manage to become somehow famous. I'm sick of this situation and this does not happen only in the field of music but in every sector of life. Once they see a successful person full of progress, they are thrown upon him and suffocate him. Typical Greek syndrome. That's why we are not currently progressing at anything. I hope the believes and behaviour of Turkish people are sort of different to ours.

Όταν ακούω ένα άλμπουμ από ελληνικούς συντελεστές και μάλιστα άξιο συγχαρητηρίων νιώθω περήφανος λες και την έχω κάνει εγώ αυτή τη δισκογραφική δουλειά. Αισθάνομαι έτσι όχι μονο ότι σαν χώρα έχουμε ελπίδα αλλά και ότι δεν έχουμε τίποτα να ζηλέψουμε από άλλες. Αυτό συμβαίνει και στον αθλητισμό, στις επιστήμες και γενικότερα. Αλλά δυστυχώς το ελληνικό σύνδρομο της ζήλιας και του φθόνου μας κάνει σαν σύνολο κακεντρεχείς, καχύποπτους και κομπλεξικούς. Άλλωστε όπως λέει και το ρητό "Ουδείς προφήτης στον τόπο του". Όσον αφορά σε κάτι ανεκδιήγητα "μουσικά" είδη που ανθίζουν αυτή τη στιγμή στην Ελλάδα που όπως είπες πολύ σωστά έχουμε καταντήσει ενα χωριό της Αμερικής (και μάλιστα όντας ξενομανείς και εκμαιώντας μόνο τα κακώς κείμενα από τον δυτικό πολιτισμό) καλύτερα να μην αναφερθώ γιατί με αφήνουν παγερά αδιάφορο. I'm going through some serious changes in my life, at 39 years old. After using drugs and alcohol for almost 20 years, my life was in ruins. I found myself homeless, and in and out of hospitals due to underlying and quite serious health issues. This album got me through the darkest of those days. I'd listen to it every chance I got.
Now that I'm in recovery, I can listen to it again! I've been sober for 51 days today. Sitting here jamming out, and enjoying being me. Truly incredible. It's amazing how much music has helped me on this incredibly tough, challenging, and brutal journey.
I'm not always happy that I'm sober today, but I know it's the best choice I've ever made. I'm finally finding out what makes me tick.
Thank you for making this incredible music. I cannot do anything to possibly repay you. Just know that there's someone out there who loves what you do, and making this album was worth it.

in october my girlfriend and me were driving through greece by car , we passed ioannina three days before youtube algorithm led me to this album...We were driving through mani/peloponnes, with all its beautiful breathtaking landscape, from mighty foggy mountains (there was a thunderstorm on this day), green wooded hills and the beautfiul deep blue sea as I decided to give it a try...What than happened was pure magic...It was overwhelming to hear this as the soundtrack to this breathtaking view, my girlfriend could not hold back her tears...Thank you very much for this album! I knew about this album, and listened it in the past... not sure why it did not grab me back then, but I kept it in my car's playlist.
Something happened just before the end of the year of 2021. I was on a long trip, snowy everywhere, this album started and I decided to leave it going...
One week later... can't stop listening to it, few times manly tears of joy and revelation went down from my eyes.

The thing is i have never had a revelation so big in my entier life. Listening to this gave me back the hope that everything will be ok in my life.
It shoked me to hear so deep and meaningful lyrics, as well as authentic greek folk music combied in such a tasteful manner with metal. And also, listening to this at 4 in the morning, in complete darkness, made my imagination gone wild.

Man Greece sure has the US beat with rock music right now for sure. This album sounds like one of those absolute classics from the more intelligent forward thinking "Indie" rock bands right around year 2000 or so. Like the album you throw on with a few chill friends over and just let play and enjoy. Good stuff gentleman. Perfect mix of energy, mood, emotion, awesome production while still being raw! And has that timeless sound to it. Bravo. And this is from a 42 Yr rock musician birthed in the heyday of seattle rock and still here and still hopefully bands like this will keep things going.

Greetings neighbour! Glad you like this noteworthy band! Imagine that there are many people in Greece who do not only dislike them but criticise them quite badly. That's a real shame mate! A lot of my compatriots pretend to be the true connoisseurs of music and try to degrade any greek band who manage to become somehow famous. I'm sick of this situation and this does not happen only in the field of music but in every sector of life. Once they see a successful person full of progress, they are thrown upon him and suffocate him. Typical Greek syndrome. That's why we are not currently progressing at anything. I hope the believes and behaviour of Turkish people are sort of different to ours.
@@tasos2794 Αρκετα "ειρωνικο" οταν βλεπεις πλεον στην κοινωνια να γινομαστε ενα χωριο της Αμερικης σε συνηθειες, σε μουσικη (trap, autotune, μπιτακια της κακιας ωρας με αγγλικο στιχο), γενικα οτι ειναι στη μοδα, απο την αλλη οταν καποιοι Ελληνες, οχι μονο στη μουσικη αλλα και σε αλλους τομεις πανε να ξεπεταχτουνε λιγο απο τα ελληνικα συνορα, τρωνε κραξιμο. Δεν ημουν φανατικος των VIC, τους ακουγα βεβαια λογω οτι καταγομαι απο Θεσσαλια, Καρδιτσα, ειχε τη φαση του η ενωση stoner με ηπειρωτικα, κλαρινα κτλ. Με το συγκεκριμενο αλμπουμ να το ακουω καθε μερα απο την ωρα που βγηκε, τους αξιζουν συγχαρητηρια και τους ευχομαι να γινουν worldwide γιατι τους αξιζει. Αντιθετα με κατι αλλους που στοχευουν σε λεφτα, παγκοσμια φημη κτλ με το ζορι. Όταν ακούω ένα άλμπουμ από ελληνικούς συντελεστές και μάλιστα άξιο συγχαρητηρίων νιώθω περήφανος λες και την έχω κάνει εγώ αυτή τη δισκογραφική δουλειά. Αισθάνομαι έτσι όχι μονο ότι σαν χώρα έχουμε ελπίδα αλλά και ότι δεν έχουμε τίποτα να ζηλέψουμε από άλλες. Αυτό συμβαίνει και στον αθλητισμό, στις επιστήμες και γενικότερα. Αλλά δυστυχώς το ελληνικό σύνδρομο της ζήλιας και του φθόνου μας κάνει σαν σύνολο κακεντρεχείς, καχύποπτους και κομπλεξικούς. Άλλωστε όπως λέει και το ρητό "Ουδείς προφήτης στον τόπο του". Όσον αφορά σε κάτι ανεκδιήγητα "μουσικά" είδη που ανθίζουν αυτή τη στιγμή στην Ελλάδα που όπως είπες πολύ σωστά έχουμε καταντήσει ενα χωριό της Αμερικής (και μάλιστα όντας ξενομανείς και εκμαιώντας μόνο τα κακώς κείμενα από τον δυτικό πολιτισμό) καλύτερα να μην αναφερθώ γιατί με αφήνουν παγερά αδιάφορο. Και μάλιστα πέφτουμε στην παγίδα του να χαλαμε σάλιο για αυτά και να τα καθιστούμε έτσι άξια λόγου. Όσο περισσότερο θόρυβο κάνεις τη σήμερον ημέρα τόσο περισσότερο γνωστός γίνεσαι...
@@tasos2794 ugh... unfortunately it's kinda same in here too. y'know i'm airbnbing sometimes, and one time, a greek guy with his girl came to my place for two weeks. he was a nice dude and tell so much stuff about your country. and i realized that we're pretty much the same. music in turkey is pumped with money. if you got money, you can buy clicks for your tracks y'know. every midi-keyboard owner is a musician these days. people don't get how hard to properly record this kinda stuff. every spotify user listens what spotify offers them. there are few cratediggers left which are grinding older stuff, polishing, sampling and turning them to modern music. good musicians and music enthusiasts are starving bro. meh... no need to keep talking about bad stuff on this bands link eh? great production and musical style here. it's raw. it's mean. it has a certain vibe. pretty direct. i don't give an f about others thoughts. thats how i feel when i hear this. naxatras are coming to turkey this month. i wish these guys will too.
