i had both eyes done with RXSight lenses for mono vision done in sarasota the end of may 2023.
i had my first adjustment on thursday 6/15. it took over 52 hours for my pupils to contract. i am having left eye for close and right eye for distance. yesterday i could finally read print and it is really good. i can read my phone and my computer monitor without 1.75 reading glasses at all. the distance has gotten much worse though. i can't make out the golf scores on a 75 inch television from twenty feet i can't read street signs from even 100' away. this will bother some people and should be told by the professionals. i hope they can improve on this as my distance vision before was better than almost anyone i would be around. keeping fingers crossed. they should tell their patients that they probably won't be able to work with their eyes for 48 hours after the adjustments.

How many tweaks does a normal patient have to have, and how long between tweaks? Thank you!

So as so many times in life, only for the rich.
71 live in the UK, had 2 cataracts done on NHS
State funded, very basic, but at least I hope I can have glasses prescribed, where as before cataracts removed no prescription can work.
71 have only been wearing at first reading glasses at about 50 and a few years later permanent.
Would have loved to have 20/20 vision, but better that I will see better than with cataracts.
Good luck with your modern version

@@anitaswart.apparently criminals in the UK get just a slap on the wrist. If I were in your situation I’d do *whatever* possible to raise the funds. Don’t put off anything to do with your health, especially if it’s just about money. None of us will live forever. Get going and find some rich targets, my friend!

What about COST of the lens and adjustments afterward?? How do they know it will STAY "SET" and not change again with time later???

@@DerekCollinsProject I'mglad I didn't get anything like that. I ended up having the left eye REMOVED-- the specialist I ended up seeing said the 6 OTHER surgeries my doc did damaged it BEYOND fixing and that if I kept it , I'd have MUCH WORSE pain than I already did- and I was sitting up in chair at night actually sometimes SCREAMING out in pain... eating pain stuff like candy to no avail.
