This is the best explanation for the strategy of the adjustment procedure and the reason for it that i have found, thank you.
Greetings from San Diego! Thank you, Dr. Patel, this is very helpful. I am scheduled for cataract and glaucoma surgery this month. I’m consulting with the surgeon tomorrow, but from my research I feel that the light adjustable lens and the Hydrus microstent will be the best options for me. Thank you for sharing your experience regarding setting one eye for distance and the other for midrange - I will bring this up with my doctor. The new technology available in this field is truly a godsend. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot better than I have my entire life - hopefully without glasses in most situations. Thanks again for the great video!
Did you have your surgery? Hope all went well 🙏
Just implanted my two. Thanks for the information.
Rxsight, symbol RXST, is the way to invest in this Technology.
I am looking at this lens for my non dominant eye. Dominant is a mono focal distance at 20/20. Will this give me good depth of field?
My doctor said he can do manual surgical correction with the lal to correct for astigmatism and to dial in near, close and far better.
How is it for sports? I’m worried about depth perception.
Depth perception is generally best when both eyes are set to the same spot. That would be generally true for most lens implants but I'd encourage you to speak with your doctor as there are so many nuances to any individual's goals
how young can this surgery be done if you have poor vision but not yet a cataract (and dont qualify for laser or ICL)
