I'm worried about the video around 2:37 in relation to page 56 Step 2. The video shows replacing the toothpick in the cog assembly (pages 46-49) with a metal axle. But the instruction manual shows the axle going through holes on the main frame just above this assembly. I followed the video and am an axle short! I tried putting a toothpick back in the cog assembly but the hole has been widened by the axle so it is loose. The video by Dragonfly Puzzles seems to follow the manual.
Hello, I love the colors and I'm trying to do as well but I don't find the real oil of dry Aloe vera ! Please have you a link to see the sort of real oil you use ? I've tryed a product of NUXE 7 oils but I don't really see a difference with wax and a meticoulus sanding. I really enjoy this video and I try to follow and replicate it. I am on my second try and continue to have the small issue, failure of the timing mechanism. I am confident my lower power is running properly but it doesn’t translate to running. Here are my 2 questions: 1.). I see you using various lubricants can you describe what you are using. 2.) When i load the timing spring with the holding arms in the position you show my spring tilts downward preventing good spring. The only solution I’ve found is to rotate the upper holding arm around to the rear of model opposite the locked arm controlling the pin. I also know the pin is in the right position and works smoothly however I don’t have enough spring to continue the pendulum. My timing is short - is there any solution

Forget the fancy Aloe oil. It is just soybean oil with vitamins. Use PTFE emulsion or clear silicone oil.

I used two way to paint the blue bracket . Water-based markers first, and then cover a very thin coat of spray can which present silver luster.
