I currently have my group going the "long way around" by waiting in cryosleep for a yog cluster to grow another 1,000 years. They'll get a dream adventure that results in a bioform milestone upgrade to make up for the "dream episode". Lol Crazy things can happen on a low powered warpshell.
Given the close ties of ICRPG to Chrono Trigger, I saw them as fragments of Dream Stone, which in the SNES Classic was used to power doors, locked boxes, and ancient machinery from times immemorial. I used to use them in my early 3.5 games for various uses, including augmenting spells, making island or airships fly among the clouds, or for interdimensional and/or cultists to feed power to their masters.
How have you used YOG in your games? What is keeping you from using it? Let me know and share your tales!
WTF is a Yog Crystal indeed! I just assumed it was some kind of ICRPG Cthulhu Rock. I like the idea of a resource for to compete for.

An excellent addition to your recent series of videos…
I plan to use them but didn't like the name, so whenever I see them in the text I consider it an acronym for "Your Own Game" lol
the best use for a YOG crystal is to add flavour to your Gar. Truly the most ICRPGest of beverages!
Oh man! Where is that in the epic loot table 😆
