Sweet - thanks for the feedback on that. Yeah sometimes actual practicality and what bikes are like to live with gets missed during a review. We got to ride this thing a bunch so that's why we were able to put this review together the way it was.
You're dead right about the OEM BT016s - replace them BEFORE they wear out as they are hopeless, especially in the wet. Brake lines are actually good, it's the OEM pads and OEM master cylinder that should be replaced for optimum performance.
Excellent review Adam. I hope they revamp the 750 and put some electronics on it. I have no practical use for a liter bike but they sure are good looking.
That’s exactly what I’ve been waiting an hoping 4... Suzuki really needs to add some gsxr1000’s electronics to the 750 and that’ll make the 750 in my opinion the best bike 🤞 hopefully they do it soon!!!
Nice video Adam! I got a 2014 gsxr 600 and I absolutely love it! I am not a pro biker and don’t intend to be one any day. This bike is just perfect for me as its fun to drive and very stable at high speeds. What’s really amazing about this bike is, even though its a 600, it can do 160mph top speed. So, its got the capability and its light weight at the same. I do agree with you, the braking could have been better, but again, you can always tweak it.
The best! review on the Suzuki GSXR-600. I have a 2016 GSXR-600 and love it. Your videos are awesome and would love if you made a beginners video. I'm still a newer rider and you showing us how to ride and shift would be great.
2022 same bike. Sheese zuki do something! New tail, new dash , new face, NEW SOMETHING!!! I just wont spend over 10 grand on a 10 year old design. I dont need 1000 to ride the streets we need a 750-850 powers down low sportbike thats light n nimble but u good at that, dont stop doing that part, but LED or something. But im buying something in next 60 days. Im hoping winter will let the inventory build back up
Una moto muy hermosa con un diseño único y un sonido que atrae mucho, además de su potencia y exelente respuesta al acelerador, es una moto que hace mucha diferencia con las demás.
Thanks man. As far as my shoulder goes, I took a digger on my CRF250R dirt bike in desert of Ocotillo Wells back in '06. I was so excited to ride that as soon as I unloaded my bike I was riding fifth gear pinned through the desert. I was like 'man, this is easy', then I hit a shrub, endoed and separated my shoulder in the first minute of riding:(.
Adam, love the channel dude! Hey I'm stuck between this bike and the ZX6R... which one would u give with. I primarily ride in the city and short highway trips in NY. Thanks.
Haha - that KRT special is cool for sure. And the 636cc ZX-6R is an awesome bike, no doubt. For me, the decision would ultimately come down to which one would be the better deal. The 636 has extra torque which is nice, but it's not as cozy around down as the GSX-R.
In the sportbike world people go from 300s to 1000s :D Don't waste time & money in the middle. I also think It is because of Naked Bikes :D Power & Price is better value for money, They're More Comfortable, More Accessories and The CC range from 390-900 is crazy. Spoiled For Choice:D In the 600cc SportsBike Class You are pretty much stuck with the Kawasaki 636 or the Yamaha R6. I wanted to get a sportsbike But after being on a 2016 R1 I realized it is just a weekend track toy, Not suitable in the real world. So for a second bike, I want either the Honda CBR500R/CBR650F or the Yamaha Fz07/09
Which is better 2021 ninja 650 or 2016 gsxr 600 obviously if I buy gsxr used with less than 5,000 I'm getting those extras like yama...something exhaust r&g tail tidy and r&g sliders so maybe i get my money worth with the gsxr 600
Yeah I totally like the R1. I rode the BMW.. too heavy IMO. and just too much power for the types of roads up hear in the Northeast unless you’re doing mostly highway duty.
Great review on the 600. Really helped when bike shopping this year. Recently bought a 2018 model, still brand new. Awesome bike! Like the recommendations on tires, fender eliminator, etc.
You guys need to learn to not call it a “beginners” bike. There’s no such thing as that. That in fact down plays the bike and takes away from what it truly is!
That was my first bike and probably the only one I would have ever owned, but unfortunately a few months after moving to CALIFORNIA the welcome wagon came by on Veterans Day and stole it from my drive way.
I watched this when it came out, and liked the review, but one thing that I didn’t think about the first time is I really hope a newer rider doesn’t ride any of the 600s. It seems like all the guys that I started riding with that were on 600s while I was on my old ninja 500 all wrecked or scared themselves and quit riding, while I am still riding 21 years later. I just really like motorcycles, so want more riders to keep the sport going. But they are a great 2nd or 3rd bikes. A mature person can start on a powerful bike, but many just aren’t ready for it
Hi Jonathan - we agree. Supersport bikes are awesome no doubt, but due to their peaky powerband and sharp handling, they are a better fit for someone that has some seat time under their belt.
Great review Adam! Question tho, can a 2016 gixxer go head to head with the new r6? Which one would you choose in terms of comfort, engine, breaking, fun during weekend rides, etc.? You rock!
Good day you all, I can not find in the internet if there is a version of GSXR600 (now discontinued in Europe, where I live) with ABS. Maybe ABS technology never reached the 600cc Suzuki's SSP Bike. I can not find anything in the internet. Does anyone know?
They still sell them in US and Australia. But this bike has not changed since 2011, so there is no ABS on these models. I live in Europe and both 600/750 is discontinued because of the EURO4 since 2016.
@@falken7610 No probs! I own the 2015 750 and for the money it's a great bike. You really don't need the ABS to be honest, it's a nice feature to have but you can manage without. This bike is very easy to manoeuvre and is such fun both on the road and track!
Adam you rock! been a big fan since back from motorcycle use video/articles! You enthusiasm for motorcycles in general always comes through! Review combines keen insight into what its really like to have this bike (track, street) and a reminder that the latest and greatest isn't always the only option for someone in market for a new bike! Keep it up !
All the reasons stated in this video that make this bike a hoot to ride make the GSX-R750 just that much better "sweet spot." You get very little gyroscopic interference from the bigger engine, just a few pounds of weight, but a lot more grunt overall. No need to step up to a 999.
They are a well rounded supersport package, doing a lot of things the other brands aren't doing. I'm a fan of the naked bikes, and the GSX-S750 makes more power everywhere below about 9k comparing to the R model. The S is getting an update now. Good time to be in the market.
Miika Venäläinen there's this thing.. it's called a volume knob/controller. I'm sure you have one 🙄

If you watch my videos, you just have to adjust it once and then it is fine throughout the video. I spend about 30 minutes adjusting audio levels while editing 20min video.
Great video Adam! I'd love to see more practical bike reviews just like this one.
Sweet - thanks for the feedback on that. Yeah sometimes actual practicality and what bikes are like to live with gets missed during a review. We got to ride this thing a bunch so that's why we were able to put this review together the way it was.
You ROCK Adam! It was an honor riding with you!
I very much enjoyed riding with you and getting a chance to hang out and talk motorcycles. Looking forward to doing a ride with you in Austin, Texas!
One of the best reviews I’ve seen on RUclips for the Suzuki Gsxr 600. I’m glad I watched this! Great video

Awesome bro your 600 cc GSX-R, I love it 😍🤩
at the start, almost made a ROOKIE error putting both gloves on before his lid haha
Just bought this. Brand new 2016 GSX-R600. Upgrade from my R3.
4stringsRplenty congrats
Nice mate time to ditch that 600 and get a litre gsxr 😂
Sweet! That's the same route I plan to go. Start on an R3 then buy the 600.

Great review and yes they are a fantastic machine!
Adam! your reviews are becoming increasingly popular! 🎯on the mark the way you put what you would do if you owned the ride! nice 👊
No aftermarket exhaust upgrade among the 3 mod things :D

Great review, and bike! I can't wait for the update!!
Me either - coming soon most probably. Maybe even next year. Fingers crossed!
Just heard it is supposed to be the 750 for 2018...if that's the case, I guess I'll upgrade to that one :)
Adam, love the channel dude! Hey I'm stuck between this bike and the ZX6R... which one would u give with. I primarily ride in the city and short highway trips in NY.

Thanks man - Which ZX-6R are you speaking of? A long stroke one? Adam
2016 ZX6R ABS with KRT scheme. OMG Adam Waheed responded to my message lol. COOOOOL
2016 ZX-6R ABS model with KRT scheme... OMG Adam Waheed responded to me :)))))) COOL. Love your work man.
Kaha K I'd opt for the abs bro

Still have this bike. Still love it...I've owned gixxer 600s since 2003...Still a champion platform to this day..👏 👏 👏 bravo...it's the prettiest.
Not a huge fan of i4's but yes it's a good bike .....it's just that everyone and their uncle has one. Good review ✌🏼😎
I know what you're saying - but some I-4s have a character all their own. Including these GSX-Rs. The R1 and BMW are special too!
Yeah I totally like the R1. I rode the BMW.. too heavy IMO. and just too much power for the types of roads up hear in the Northeast unless you’re doing mostly highway duty.

What are you talking about? All the other Japanese manufacturer's have a 600 i4 in their lineups
Very fun bike just bought 2017 gsxr 600.
You have the best and honest down to earth in depth bike review s on here. Thanks again brother and don't change anything..
I will get a Gixxer 600 if Mir wins the MotoGP title this year.
That was my first bike and probably the only one I would have ever owned, but unfortunately a few months after moving to CALIFORNIA the welcome wagon came by on Veterans Day and stole it from my drive way.
I had one stolen in California too - in a parking garage :(
Great bike!! Suzuki Gsxr600 ❤️😎

Great review Adam!

When you say breaking, are you asking about reliability, or did you mean to say braking?
What camera equipment did you guys use

Really cool location, is that a mountain in North CA I'm seeing?
Thanks man - it is north of California. We did this test near Klamath Falls, Oregon. So the terrain is similar to parts of Nor-NorCal for sure.
Nice, I saw Mt. Shasta in opening shot and it looked familiar-I drove through Klamath to NorCal last summer from WA/Crater Lake, very scenic

have abs?
He would have to take his shirt off to answer that.
The bike does not have ABS though.
Good reviews, but these super sports are becoming dinosaurs, with everyone going naked ;)
Gonna get an Fz 09 soon :D
would you please get the audio levels sorted!
Miika Venäläinen dude the audio levels are acceptable ... chill
Yes they are IF you are using tablet or mobile with auto volume control.

dude let's be real, it hasn't changed SINCE 2006
It received a decent round of updates for '11, but true, the platform is mostly the same. Expect that to change real soon.
Surely has more than 100 bhp thought it had around 125bhp
At the tire, not the crank
@@OcSpeed my bad! Wasn't listening probably, cheers
@@OcSpeed so how much bhp roughly would this bike put out around 120?
