Oh my goodness how lovely to hear that engine note! Reminds me of when I was at uni and a girl in my year group had a 1990 205 and she seemed to like using the choke ... 💕
Thank you for your comment ! Personaly I loved playing with the choke in 205 and the same glancing my wife or my Mum in their 205 in winter mornings in the 80's and 90's. But according my memories, they didn't have the same pleasure: women are very pragmatic and ask mainly to a car for starting and driving them from one point to an other.
Great to see the Peugeot starting with choke. Good to see that it will run with choke full out then stall. Have you got any videos showing this? It would be amazing to see
@@Manualchoke My bikes enjoying been left to warm up on full choke for up to 5mins in this cold weather - the two stroke smoke smells awesome too! Evenually will baulk, flood & stall unless I keep blipping the throttle or ride it. How long can you leave the choke out on yours? Do you drive it with the choke on?
@@dt125guy7 the 205 takes ages to flood on full choke. Well over 5mins I’m sure. In contrast my old Vauxhall nova would flood out in less than a min if choked too much. I do drive with the choke out a lot and once warmed up will start to slow down before conking out with a flooded engine. Lovely smell of petrol in the air.
Yes. Once started I will try to warm her up if I have time but sometimes I need to drive straight away so need to manage the choke while driving. Love these French cars!
@@Manualchoke d accord oui effectivement bon véhicule et marque durable. Vous l utilisez tout les jours ? Vous auriez une vidéo lorsque vous la faite chauffer merci

@@Manualchoke The 205 sounds awesome 🤩 keep the vids going there gr8. Lets see that exhaust smoking on full choke😋
@@dt125guy7 I will do. I think I have a short clip from my old Rover Metro of the exhaust on full choke. Thanks for the support.
Miss the sound of the distinct sound of a Suitcase engine and the whine from the transfer gears.
Certainly a great sound! Not a sound you much theses day.
Please explain what you did
Thanks for your comment. Just a normal cold start with full choke!
Elle est froide. Vous mettez le starter comment ?
She is very cold. As she has been sitting for 2 cold days here. The choke was pulled to neatly full out. Hope you enjoyed the videos.
@@Manualchoke ok vous la laissez chauffer un peu avec starter ?

The certainly are great cars. I’ve a lot more clips to upload and share so watch this space. Did you have a car with a choke?
