i watched this and i learned to side flip on my mattress in my yard in about 20 minutes, then i took away the mattress. i can now side flip.

i got a concussion, out of training for 14 days, then i did a side flip to sand, 4 days later me and my gf broke up, now i know front back and side quite well and still have no friends, but i get attention on the street which is cool.

Funny story, this was the first flip i ever landed in early 2022 (took me 2 years💀💀💀). The same year, i moved to a different school, i did this after a classmate challenged me to, someone filmed it and went around school. It made me a bit famous, but more than that, known around all the students.
Today i practice more advanced tricks and show them to my current friends 😁😁😁

What do you think of the undertuck vs overtuck debate? I find it easier to grab under my knees but I always see people tucking like in a front or backflip
i personally like grabbing undertuck, it gives me a better axis and shape. in the end, this choice comes down to preference!

It looks and feels cooler and it’s easier if you think about extending upwards before you tuck by just pushing harder with your legs and throwing your arm UP instead of “dunking” down.

Can u do one about the problems that people do in side flips
you should check out the video christopher tung made on common sideflip mistakes. i might not be too qualified to teach much beyond learning how to land the sideflip :p

I just ended high school this year and gratuated about month ago. Always that type of dude who got max one or two friends from 20 people in the class. Also only boys 😂. The really introvert or sometimes autistic ones. Including myself 😀. Anyways i seriously hope in finding people later in life that will appreciate person without knowing all of the flips 😂. yeah! if you got pads or a mattress, def use that. if not, id recommend learning some basic rolls and falls so you get comfortable with safely bailing flips. since you can already front and back flip, i have no doubt you can get your sideflips back. lemme know if you got any questions 👍
