As a drummer who has been in metal/hardcore bands since my teens (35 now), I can say that just drumming is tiring enough, I can't imagine doing it and fucking having to vocalize too. much fucking respect.

@@eraserhead205 they are heading towards a more mainstream-ish kind of sound, with the drummer stepping in as frontman and a new drummer behind the kit, with a more industrial and less hardcore sound. But they are successful

Putting this album as the best before Morbid Angel, Paradise Lost is a crime! but music and arts is like food, we all have our taste...

I recommend any USA of European metal, rock, alternative band playing In Santiago, Chile. You guys rock. I love that The Gathering DVD from Chile. The audience kicked ass and would love to see a Chilean audience with a very heavy band like Code Orange on a live DVD.

Shannon Guthrie they do a lot of swings measure changes. Their sound is unique as New York. Heavy, goofy, pretty, and real. They appear to come ready and tight. Plus the rhythm section is on point. I love automation but hearing real sounds that explore what sounds right over what is played to one signature is refreshing.
You also don’t know the “signing” entailed so not sure what you expect/hope for the future of that record label AKA roadrunner banking...

It's like a bad vocal contest and they're all winning. And no, being hardcore isn't an excuse to sound like you've got socks in your mouth. It's just bad technique that sounds like sht live.

lastditch727 it’s kinda true, but this type of sound is easy to do and you dont have to focus much on it, and remember they are doing vocals while playing their instruments which also takes a portion of their attention

I think if you have the technique you could still sound okay while playing an instrument. these guys sound like shit, the only one who sounds good live at all is Reba, she has good technique unlike that fucking guitarist
