Please don’t fly anything with a Rotec radial. The new ones aren’t any better, they still blow up with less than 100 hours. The company isn’t supplying parts any more because they are being sued in 11 or more countries.

That R2800 is around 15,500plus about another 1800 for the engine mount. That whole package will bring about $60K if it's flyable, probably more. You did good Jimmy.

I am a 911 expert. Driven them for 45 years was an authorized Porsche dealer for 18 years. The 996 1999 to 2004 version of the 911 is the least desirable. I saw one is a Tiptronic transmission and that hurts it as well. These versions were also known to have some genetic engine issues. These cars do drive well but were never accepted by the core Porsche customer. They shared too many cosmetic characteristics of the less expensive Boxster of the same time frame. I also saw a lot of warning lights on the dash. The battery is going dead that’s why the alarm is going off. This is not a good deal.
As noted by Top Gear, the reason they called it the 911 is so Americans would know what number to call when they wrapped it around a tree.

It’s a good joke but the first 911 to roll off the assembly line was in 1964, the first 911 call was made in 1968, the Porsche 911 came first 😂

The Denney Kitfox was originally designed for a radial engine that was in development at the time. But the engine was never completed so Denney went with Rotax engines instead. They did, however, keep the original cowl design, at least for the early models, which is why they looked like they had radial engines even though they didn't. It's cool that yours actually does have a radial engine as originally envisioned.

Key on left side for le mans start. Run up to the car, open the door, reach in start the car as you get in, sit down. close the door and go. Faster than getting in, putting the key in and then going. :)
Jimmy, tell Silas to make sure when he pushes the clutch pedal to have has heel resting on the floor. This way he will only use his ankle joint pivot and not his entire leg when releasing the clutch. This technique makes driving off in a car with manual transmission much easier. His feet are large enough so no issues there 😁
I felt bad for the guy. Two mediocre 911’s and $5k for a really nice aircraft…

Open the front trunk, the 4 wheel drive has a different fuel tank . Oil pressure senders fail, there's a trick to changing them ;-) light switches too. You can read all about the crank bearing seal issues on the web...

The KitFox in major KEWL. I would have gone for the S51. I can’t make Sun-N-Fun this year but my plane is going. I am a big dude and my SIL wants a KitFox, we may stop in for a look in 2025 or fly down and check it out. He is 240 and I am 230. We need powerful toys.

You may have a vacuum leak somewhere. Can cause mis fires and MAF codes. Due to unmetered air into engine. Can also cause cat codes. Probably due to aftermarket intake system. If you have not figured out already. PCV issue could also cause same issues,
