Hi Bruce! We experimented and tried the saw on a bench top and found that it made the bandsaw too high. We have found that the stand works best for the bandsaw. Mine delivered today! I have about 80 feet of dogwood that I cut down years ago that I’ll finally get to mill so I can turn it. Can’t wait to try it out this weekend
So the instructions say to level the saw before tightening up the bolts on the stand. HOWEVER - the base is not even close to square below the saw. No way to level unless you have a square machine! And your video says nothing about this step.

Does anyone know if you have to use the provided stand, or can you simply mount the saw to a table top without using the legs?
Now that's a nice & handy portable size band saw right there.
I would have enjoyed seeing some lessons on blade tensioning. I have the 9” bandsaw and the manual is just too vague.
