1972 ironhead #117 xl xlch case repair motor rebuild harley sportster by tatro machine
the bike came in for a kick starter that would not turn over the motor. the motor was locked solid or was it? follow along as you see what we found and how we fixed it.

yes, that is how they made them. harley also made a 1" taller bike too.

What rear tire did you install? Rear swing arm looks to be original, what rear tire is that ? Dont look to be a 150!

this bike has always been red. 130/90x16" rear tire. the chassis is all stock 1972.
