I had nice 74 rigid had 84cube stroker in it .. which I kept it miss it dearly
make sure it has the tiny o ring on the accelerator jet. I was going through the same problems until I replaced that o ring.

You are very patient.
He needs to run through the entire basic tune. Even an off mix should show more fire. Something is off.
Compression, ignition, and/or he left some vintage aged gas in there (likely a bit of all three).
A guess would be his ignition can't deliver a hot arc across a 1/8" gap.
Bad ground, 10V from a 12V battery, poor ignition wires, a cheap coil...
On a side note: at around 4:30 watch the front exhaust pushrod tube.
yea, something is off. that is why i normally start at the begining and work my way out. pushrod adjustment is 1st and than work your way out as you check every step along the way to the end.

Short pipes - sports we run valve treatment fuel to save exhaust valve from burning.- starts backfiring.

Can you show us how to get the O ring to fit on the accelerator pump on the super E ? ..I've tried SS parts and others and still have a hard time getting that one to fit ..always seems to be just a bit too large and wants to roll out as you put the pump body back on ...last time had to do it with a feeler gauge holding it in place and then sliding it out as I tightened the screws ...took about 6 tries
i have showed how i do it in alot of my videos. basically you got it correct. they can be a real pain in the butt at times.

@@dannynoel993 had a few , very few 😂 but I have had elders that knew what they were talking about and I asked questions when I didn't understand but not to second guess. Tatro is like my grandfather and great uncle rolled up in one. Everything's a test, most people miss the jokes and you better have thick skin when you do get them. Most of my "family" is the same way. Like my grandfather would help anyone do anything in the garage but if you started second guessing the old bastard you'd be on your own.
No matter what it was a good video even if I was yelling at the TV to " just go grab the screw driver." And watching him kick that mule made me smile a bit. No matter what he earned the ride if you ask me just from kicking it. And kudos to them for actually out riding and learning how to fix them. Just saying I would of shut up , listened, asked questions when I didn't understand and got the screw driver the first time it was mentioned.

no, its just that something is off. its up to you to figuare it out and fix it. the chock was one of the big things wrong with it. there are more.

You moved to your father's shop write.I drive past my father's old garage and it brings a tear to my eye thinking of all the great times I had when I was a kid working there he sold to retire,5months later he had a stroke,I wanna know why that happens to the people that worked their asses off to feed their family and when it comes to retire,nope now you have to suffer the ailments of a stroke friggin bullshit if you ask me why can't it happen to the crooks and bastards out there that dont care who they harm to make money,makes me sick.
the only reason to retire from what you like doing is because you can't do it anymore. after you stop working you have no reason to live for unless you get up off your butt and find something to do that you can still do. if not, you just wither away. that is just the circle of life.

@@TatroMachine Too true - I have always said that the reason men die soon after retiring is that they sit at home and die out of boredom - and their wive's constant nagging. Best thing to do is get a Harley and go live in the garage !
