- Hey guys! Just taking you through our final phase of landscaping in the front yard. We build a seat height plant box around the Mango tree, build a catch basin to get water out of the corner of the wall, extend the paving blocks around the Mango tree, bring in soil, plant carabao grass and replace three of our Hawaiian Palms. I also did some new drone shots of the house and beautiful terraced rice fields around our home. Be looking for a couple of new vlogs in the near future. I will be doing a vlog on the pitfalls of purchasing land in the Philippines and I will also be doing a 1 year in our Cuyapo home update!

wow, as we grow old we just stay in our home and be amazed of our garden, fresh air, fresh vegetables, swimmingpool and plenty of rest, sleepin afternoon coz its hot outside, wake up 4pm and watering the garden, wow what a life just amazing and peaceful. i just bought some vegetable seed in tiktok very cheap 35pesos/pack. watermelon, cucumber, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, onions, dragon fruit, etc. anyways, awesome vlog👍
It is a good life, so let us all make the most of it and live in the moment!

Go out the front, you have lots of green and flowers with plenty of space to run and play with a little shade to sit under as well. Go out the back and you have an incredible view with a relaxing pool scape to enjoy. I make sure to enjoy both everyday!

I had a similar concern, but the locals I spoke with along with the landscaper, all agreed that what we were doing would not have a negative affect on our Mango tree. Praying they all told me the truth. Only time shall tell . Thanks for watching!

To think back to how the front yard use to look pretty incredible transformation. Loved the drone footage. After crashing my mini 2 and getting a replacement/repair with the DJI insurance plan, I just now have also purchased a mini 3 pro which has added collision detection. So I’ll have a pair of drones when I move next year.

Hey brother Mark! Yep, pretty far from where it began. Prefer the new and improved version Funny you should mention crashing your Mini 2, did the same right here when we first started building. No insurance. Found a place in Manila that fixed it for me though. The footage on this vlog is actually the first time I have flown it sight unseen. Never had the confidence to do that till this time. Thank you Jesus! It went well 👍

First one shows the installation and the second I believe details pricing and performance. I am about to upload a third vlog that will be an overview of the system since we installed a little over a year ago. I have learned a lot about the system since we first installed it and I have to tell you, it was one of our top decisions when we built our home. Wasn't my preferred style. I actually prefer Spanish Colonial, but my builder said it would double the price to build what I really wanted. Bottomline, this modern style is what they know how to do.

That's funny. I looked in Mexico for years and almost bought something in the Ajijic area of Lake Chapala. But ended up in Dominican Republic instead. After my divorce, I decided to come to a part of the world I had never been in and that was Southeast Asia. Super glad I ended up here! Thanks for watchin!

Where is that retaining wall you're talking about ????
Hey Bren, our home is built on a terraced rice field, with the front of the yard being on the road and the back of the home had a pretty good drop to the elevation so we had to construct a retaining wall on three sides of the area the home would sit on. So we have retaining walls on the East, North and West sides of the property. In our videos it just looks like what I call a half wall around the property, when in fact if you looked over the wall, it has a about a 10 foot drop on the North side. Hope that helps sir!

How much is the total land area of your property ?
Our land is 3420sqm total. The house occupies the southeast corner of our property. If you see any drone shots of our home from above, you can clearly see the layout of our total property as it has a concrete post perimeter around the area that does not have the house on it.
