Did you ever get to the bottom of this problem? This exact thing happened to me 10 minutes ago and I am at my wit's end. I have not pulled anything apart because after watching your video it's obvious that the problem goes beyond the switch. Any information or link to follow up video would be greatly, greatly appreciated

So, the issue can be the switch or the barrel part?
Yep, the switch is the electrical part but if thats OK then the barrel has mechanical bits which also causes issues.
