It has to be Russian Hill. I lived at Larkin and Union for over 25 years. You have buses going up Union, buses on Polk and Van Ness, the cable cars. Your youthful comments are so funny. The ironing board was essential! Nobody wants to go to work in wrinkles! Ooh, I'm excited for you, but I watch Metal Leo on You Tube and feel like I can't go back. What I loved isn't there anymore! I'm writing a book about it.

Love your video and the style of apartments you chose. I’m curious, what’s the neighbor noise like between apartments in these old buildings?
In my experience over 20 years ago, the young working people kept the City's quiet hours pretty well. There's always the silly girl who hollers "Bye! I had a good time!" but I've known neighbors to have a really loud party on a weeknight and at 10 p.m. they have all tioptoed out and all the music turned off. Working on short sleep is no fun. These are productive, very motivated people. I wore clogs, but coming in from a night shift job . . . after the lady downstairs came to me shaking with sleeplessness, I felt so sorry and promised to remove the clogs at the door and walk in stocking feet. Then I had a belly dancer down there. I knew that "floor work" was strenuous and she couldn't keep it up for long. I had a piano and I tap-danced in the hardwood hallway -- but not in sleep time. Most of the buildings have open space behind with garbage chutes, storage lockers, even pretty patios. There is a fair amount of distance between neighboring kitchen/bedroom windows. You have to sort of like your neighbors.
What websites do you recommend using to find trustworthy listings?
Growing up in a Victorian unfortunately to me didn't become a preference nor sf as an adult. Nice video though showing 1 sunny day there. 😂

@@sweetvanillajamillaexpensive like hell for a small apartment i can get 1 bedroom apartment here in Stockton 209 for about 1300 to 1800 dollar a month and its much cheaper than San Francisco and plus Stockton aint that far from drug addicted city called San Francisco about 1 hour 55min drive now i see why San Francisco is trash city now Westfield mall close down for good AMC movie theater in San Francisco close down for good target store in San Francisco close down for good Safeway in San Francisco is getting ready to close its store as well

@@sweetvanillajamillau should’ve live here in Stockton its cheaper than the Bay Area and Stockton is not even that far from San Francisco Bay Area

even tho i live almost 2 hour from San Francisco i will never wanna move their unaffordable city to live in too many drug dealers drug users and homelessness so many stores and restaurants are closing down Westfield mall in San Francisco is closing down for good
Why rent and not buy ? Remember you’re paying someone else’s mortgage
