Idk if they still sell it but they used to have a lip balm base. It worked well in many formulations and you can add castor oil to turn it into lip gloss.

I dont see why not. Although they might have a different effect as they are a bit more translucent than pigment powders/oxides. But other than possibly needing to add an opacifier/filler to get a better coverage, i dont know why you couldn't. Its just a preference of effect whether you want shimmer or matte. They use a mixes of both oxides and micas in all different cosmetics.
This can be marketed as a classic eyeshadow, but it could also work well as a blush or highlighter depending on the color! Good photos of the product in the package as well as on is also helpful, as is eye catching packaging. Hope that helps!
We don't make a ton of makeup DIY tutorials (we are more skincare based) so something like that may be a little outside of our expertise. We will keep your request in mind for the future though!

@@EssentialLabsOfficial not sure if you're tins or not but I had the pleasure of speaking with.Clifford today and he spoke very highly of you and one or two other formulators ..we were discussing several different things today so we've been in email correspondence today as well. in mentioning using denatured alcohol instead of IPA I was told by a friend of mine who's friend told her it's not good to use IPA cause it actually attracts dirt where denatured alcohol does not..I bring this up cause I remember as a child we used denatured alcohol to clean glass,windows etc instead of alcohols or window cleaner we also used it to clean out camera lenses and her friend that told her this happens to be a PI and uses it to clean his equipment with...so was wondering if that's why you recommended it or if you don't mind sharing your thoughts be hidn using it over IPA not to to mention IPA leaves a sticky tacky feeling to it ......does EW sell denatured alcohol?
I feel like this formulation wouldn’t sit well on the eye. Adding water to an eyeshadow, without an emulsifier, and adding glycerin is asking for it to pull away from the lid as most eyelids are naturally oily. I appreciate the attempt to lessen the types and amount of ingredients, but I don’t think it worked in this application
@LAminerals I agree on using a lid primer as it might help the shadow adhere better, but I still think the large quantity of glycerin would creat too much of a water rich environment for even a primer to withstand.
Your whole product line on your website is pure garbage. I know cause I ordered before. It broke out my skin and was a huge regret. Never again though!
