    I subbed because its the most straightforward video I have seen. Also if you are just using pure glycerine and alcohol there will be very little chance of mold but if people use glycerine with rosewater (any water) mould may grow, same too if its not a high enough alcohol concentration.

    Thank you! I have one glitter that I never use so I'm going to try this so I can put it into my magnetic palette.

    You should monitor your pans for rust as glycerine is a humectant, meaning it draws water from the air, so this would leave your pans at risk for rust or mold.

    Great buy with those glitters. The $10 brand is a rip off! I can't remember this companies name but they sell everything you need to press glitters & pigments. They sell the pans in all sizes. Also they have an acrylic press to use instead of a quarter. The glitters do look beautiful. Happy pressing!

    New sub.......I was looking for deepset eyeshadow tutorials and I found you. I'm 50, very few lines around the eyes. Can I still get away with glitters? Also, can you add regular pigment AND add glitter with this same technique? Will this technique work for making your own eyeshadow colors? I love it, and can't wait to place an order!

    • @PJsBeautyShop
      @PJsBeautyShop  7 лет назад +1

      Yes! I think you can still use glitter, absolutely. I use it even though my eyelids are starting to give me trouble. I know when trying to press regular eyeshadows you don't need the glycerin just the alcohol. I haven't tried mixing glitter with a pigment before so if you try it let me know how it works out.

    • @lanieellen4889

      Sufiya Mansuri usually when that happens you add more glycerin and more alcohol and less glitter then let it sit for 24 hours

    Hello.. i just wank to ask.. can the glycerine and alcohol i replace with rubbing alcohol 71%??

    • @PJsBeautyShop
      @PJsBeautyShop  6 лет назад +1

      The 91% alcohol dries faster which is why it's recommended but I don't see why you couldn't use 71%. I haven't used anything other than glycerin so I couldn't make any recommendations. :)

    • @PJsBeautyShop
      @PJsBeautyShop  7 лет назад +1

      Well that sucks! I used a glitter that didn't set. It was after I put this video out. I wish I could remember what kind it was. In my next vlog I will make more pressed glitters, hopefully I can find the glitter that wouldn't cooperate. That only happened with one of the glitters I bought. I tried 3 times using the same glitter and all 3 times it wouldn't set, I was bummed.

      The ingredient list I found didn't call for aloe vera. I guess that could be an option for glycerin but I'm not sure.
