Great comparison, thanks so much for the support! 👊😎 Seemed like a pretty fair fight, but we still have some tuning to do for what you're looking for. 👍
Yah did it again, Great review. We all appreciate your no BS pro view on all these manufactures products even if you find them to be lemons. We learn from you and I hope the BIG GUYS do as well!!!! Its hard to beat Furitek electronics. Sure looks like Dinky R/C givin it their all...
Great video, dinky popping up everywhere these days! Glad to see it. I have 2 esc’s, still trying to get my ROP running right on 2S but im confident it’s on my end and not dinky. Matt is super helpful too.
Mine completely stalled out would not go at least little you and it would not go either given Full Throttle and it wouldn't do nothing to set their barely move but I'm starting to think that it's because my first one still works really good it's just if you run into something it stops it is cracked now you put that 4100 bam motor in there you ain't got nothing to worry about I would get the smallest pinion I could got several today from mofo another I got which seems good just for as running it out of the truck lgrp motor I'll be testing that has a small saft tho which in away will allow u to run smaller pinion
I'm glad to see another affordable good option out for people to have a choice, I would still lean towards the furitek for the ability to tune on your phone with Bluetooth.
He actually said they are the same exact esc just flashed different so I may play around with converting one just to see how hard it would be lol. If it’s not too hard then it wouldn’t be so bad switching it when moving from one to the other.
great comparison video, I got the brushed version 8.4v version of this esc recently and im exited to try it out, all my other builds use furiteck or castle, this looks like a super solid less expensive option
I’m loving the nano bam. I still prefer brushed but it’s fun as crap on the higher spinning axles. I bet if you put the nano on scx24 axles, it would be super smooth. Asking a lot from that tiny ass motor on those axles. It does really help going to 3s, plus that’s where the fun is! Awesome freaking skillz! Thanks for sharing, brother!!
Yeah it would be butter on some scx axles I’m sure. I was on a huge 3s kick for awhile. Wouldn’t run anything but it but been chilling on 2s a little lately and most the time with the fcx axles it’s all I need. May as well just jump to 4s now I guess 😆
@@texomarc I wanna run 4s bad but their all just too big. Someone needs to make a tiny 4s! I may wire up a series connector but even that is double the weight on batteries lol
Unrelated to video, great review by the way. Have you seen/thought about checking out the flysky fs-mg7 radio? Came across it by accident, as much as I want the furitek avatar the flysky seems to be more budget friendly especially from down under! Cheers!
The radio needs to be calibrated to the ESC which is kinda a pain. When in the config tool you will see three tabs at the top the one that says "Input" is where you want to do it, the top three sliders are what you want to change they correspond with max minimum and neutral throttle.
Matt is the Dinky Drag brake stronger than the Lizard Pro? My Slayer is also running scx24/fcx24 driveline and full drag brake on the Lizard still allows a steady creep on steep hills and was just curious if the Dinky was the same?
@@covecityboys it just ran my nano bam like crap but it was in a hybrid build with fcx axles and scx transmission. Couldn’t get it to connect at times etc. It was before he went escape32 so typical am32 issues. I just haven’t really revisited it because my Furitek stuff has been so simple to toss in and go.
@@covecityboys I think several have had issues with them. I’ve never had a single one with issues. I pulled the battery pin off one of the boards over time connected batteries so now I run adapters or extensions and just unplug and plug to those. Am32 and escape escs have been my nightmare. I’ve tossed about 3 different brands in the trash 😆

I'm just glad there is some competition, furitek is so expensive lol
Matt at DinkyRC is an awesome guy. He’s helped me more than once. If there is an answer to be had I’m sure he’ll have it.

@@Gibsonlife573 dude, try proof reading your comment and tell me it makes a lick of sense what so ever.....?? What the heck man?
The programming back and forth is what’s delayed me in picking one up… the furitek app is just too convenient.
Yes it is!

I was wondering what ESC I would be putting in my CR-18P Slayer build, NOW I KNOW thanks Matt
Yeah it’s pretty sweet! I ordered two more before posting the vid. I may be working on the same build 😉. Keep me updated how yours goes!
@2fmrc Will do old chap, looking forward to slaying 😁
As always we appreciate you what you share with us, will catch you on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎
I’ll definitely consider this when it can do brushed and brushless on the same unit.

always love the info you give in these videos , keep up the great work !
I appreciate that!
That is sweet dude, just ordered mofo transmission and Nano bam For my basic slayer
I just ordered that BOA mount, but my FCX Slayer will be brushed. You took the slayer to the next level with the brushless. That thing is unstoppable
Sweet! I love the boa mount. Really keeps the inside of the slayer nice and clear. It is an absolute monster for sure!

just ordered two of the micro pro's. Been having trouble bricking python pro's.

Great video Matt! Any chance you could pair this ESC with the OGRC brushless motor? I'd really like to know your opinion of it.
Just got mine today. Seem great with the mofo smp

The drag brake can be set to 100 meaning it will be as strong as your motor is. You will not roll with it set to 100 on Dinky.
Awesome comparison video!!!
And love your slayer build!!!
@@sinistercustomsx2434 thanks man! Loving it so far. Ready to get it out to some killer spots and really unleash it lol
Stick a dead cat on your mic to help with wind noise. That’s really what they are called.
Yeah I have several but they just don’t work all that well on the iphone. It cuts it down quite a bit when I remember it but it don’t cut it out.
