      Thanks man, your one of the few that have found it. So much on here if you want to learn all about the 24ths. Im gettin old too, gonna be 44 here soon. But in this community we got tons of older people that love these lil rigs. Ive found the ones that actually get em end up using em more then the 1/10ths lol Can run em inside, can take em with in a backpak, super easy and fun to mod. Just something about the 24ths that is awesome. :)

"hey that looks cool" and i buy it! lol. i need to stop that.

    Fellow Canadian and new Subscriber here, love your honesty and advice. Have the shocks relocated, and just a purple injora 050 with some brass up front. Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated!

      Hey right on man!!! Alberta here :)
      So one thing Id do right away is get the Furitek Lizard Pro ESC. Some nice brass wheels help out soo so much to hold this outta balance rig down so it doesnt just roll. A nice Gen Ace Adventure 400 skinny battery once u cut out the guts and drop everything inside a bit lower helps a ton too. That ESC will take out the horrible squeal that the low grade ESC makes the motor do and also bring so much more control with its slow crawling ability, even while staying with a brushed motor. If you can get the red 66T from Injora, higher the turns the more torques from the lil motors. On the back body mount, if you take it out and melt it you can make it so it doesnt hit the rear servo and u get better travel from the shocks. I think Ive a vid on that somewhere in the list. One thing too that most over look with the short wheel base that the JLU, C10, AX24 all have is using smaller tires, I wouldnt go over anything past a 57-58mm. The stock 64mm throw this things geometry WAY off is one reason its a rolling machine and wont stay on its tires. Theres just a few to start with depending on how much money you want to throw at it. My Ax24 is now a Kanga-Ax24 as Ive moved everything into a Kangaroo Chassis from Injora and spent WAY to much on it, thing is just over 900cad atm... but she can do things Ive never seen other rigs do. Even my Glad cant go places this thing can and they thing isnt cheap either.. lol Anyways, hope that is a good start for ya.. PEACE!! :)

      @@DurpVonFronz greatly appreciated, i’m also Albertan haha. Go oilers! Anyway yeah i’m just about to grab some brass wheels, and tires maybe Injora 58’s pre mounted for $40 on Amazon. And i will have to bite the bullet and grab the Lizard Pro ESC soon. I took a screenshot of your reply as a reference, and i am going to buy that little battery hopefully. Thank you so much bud!

    Great video showing whats needed to make it worth a shit! I feel like the AX24 is a step backwards from the scx24. When I got my first JLU, I really enjoyed running it even stock. Nothing stays stock for long though!

    • @DurpVonFronz
      @DurpVonFronz  Год назад +1

      I totally think it was a step back, thing is really bad stock. JLU was my first rig and it was run for a long time as stock before upgrading it. The amount of work needed to make this thing decent was rough.

      @@DurpVonFronz I just tested my one and it does the same lol Needs more force to roll it tho, check out the two top links connected to the servo mount when you roll it then compress the suspension down till the links level out then try roll it big difference so we gotta extend them top links or lower the front pretty much low as but it will hit our furitek motor haha

    Cut springs or limit straps won’t help?
    I gotta say it seems like axial dropped the ball on this. To much needs to be done to it for what it’s supposed to be.

    • @DurpVonFronz
      @DurpVonFronz  Год назад +1

      Oh, I forgot to mention the elastic bands around the servos and body mounts as straps, they help keep it from popping up too much when climbing or downhilling, but they dont help the axle roll at all. Axial dropped the ball huge on this one and paid a lot of people to talk like its good, its just not, its terrible till you do a few key things to it.
