yeah looks like good guitar Corey. The big issue though is why would anyone choose this PRS Strat copy over an MiM Fender.....or any other Strat copy ??

Personally, there’s not a modern Fender aside from Custom Shop models that Id play. The necks on SS’s are closer to what I prefer.

Yes and tone wise I think they are different enough to have both if you prefer both options. The delicacy, focus, different variety and beauty of the SS tone and the embellishments, bright shimmers, wildness and distinct vibe of the fender strat 🙌🏼❤️

Depends on the music style. I use it and have often heard of folks replacing the bridge pickup with a neck model pickup in its place.

@@coreycongilio one more question, I see hear bass is set LOW, in another video you referenced that you treat the bass differently while giging, say you were going for these sounds live, at volume, what would your bass knob be set at general, and would that be different if it was so small a gig you were not going through the PA, I realize these are very general questions and that the room and context change the answer a bit.... but which way would you lean, more bass than here live or same?
asking bc I'm primarily a bass player using your videos to secretly become a better guitar player than the guitarists I play with, ssssssssshhh don't tell, frequently I feel the guitar is pushing more air than I am on the low side, not that I can't turn up, Mud central when competing for the the bottom, so I don't... the drummer just shakes his head... its a Blues deville and it's like a firehose lose in the room bruising anybody in the path.... but he cant hear it because it passes between his legs. lol.
Generally though how Fat is too fat on the bottom for the lead roll in this type of guitar work. Should I go full Jaco and steal the high mid?
