Making a Surfboard - Fin Placement

This is how I mark out fin placement and the tools I use. The one tool I use is from Shapers Australia. For this board I did 4 inches and 12 inches, sometimes it's 3 and 8.

Raul Torres they are really good but found the inch markings are out hence why I use the ruler as well. Great for the angles of the fins.

The measurement you use, that’s where you’re placing the box? Or is that the trailing edge of your fin marking?

Trailing edge of the fin, the inside of the fin for the two outer ones
