The Sony has got to be the one of the greatest hifi speakers (for the money) I ever heard. I hear details and dynamics that my ProAc 2.5's do. Absolutely qualifies as HiEnd.

What cables did you use to hook it all up? I'm a newbie and I've already ordered the Sony, but I had the Fosi BT10A which would not power them...according to Fosi.
Nice review, I also love the Fosi audio. For me it was like a jump try, got the Fosi tube P1 preamplifier connected to my power amp ADCOM GFA 555mk2 and it works very well.

Running them from my Sony receiver that was around 169... And I have a awesome audio files budget dream system now... Sounds great if I watch a movie and sounds great when I'm listening to tons of music..... I got one set at $73 for both speakers which was a killer Black Friday deal of sorts
I was thinking I would need some fancy RCA cables with banana plugs, but I see you just cut some speaker wires, and hooked them up...but what other cables did you use?
Hi, a few days ago, I found out my 10 year old 2.1 speakers with only 4" bass inside the box has better bass than my new system which has 5" bass when the volume is low (for pc when I'm only half a meter away from the speaker). so does that mean small bass could deliver better bass than the big one when the volume is low? or it's due to the shape of my old bass which is a speaker inside the wooden box? Anyway, I thought I ask you my 2nd question which is related to Sony SS-CS5 vs Micca, since Sony is bigger, can you compare both when the volume is low (accessible listen level when you are half meter away like on PC set near) and if Sony gives better bass even when the volume is low? I wonder if the theory in my head is correct, which is big speakers only shine when the volume is high, so big speakers give a worse bass for PC users who set close to the speaker?
I hear a lot of men say that need wife approval. My ex tormented me about my stereo. Now my Girlfriend treats me like an equal partner and doesn't torment me about my Infinity IL50s floor standing speakers 70lbs each matching bookshelf and center channel and my rack of gear. Thats the way it should be. It's your house too.

MUCHO better low , mid, upper !
The human ear can't hear anything over 20,000 Hz - if you're older or been in the audiophile arena for a while, you're lucky to hear over 16,000 Hz - that " super tweeter " is a gimmick.
dont says not thruth thing : google many scientific proff you can hear much high and feel much high ( consious or not ) .. ( sorry for bad english ) : more 28000 on laboratory and under 12 hz

I'm using that exact system for my desktop system and it sounds great. Those Sony's for the $75 i paid are amazing

@@romainbailet6488 Whatever you're attempting to say, you are grossly incorrect. Lower frequencies are "felt" - not higher frequencies.
