lets play some Jag
AVGN?
@@timon7095 Yup, it's the 2000's AVGN who said that HIMSELF.
It's also on the Saturn. We can avoid that ringed cartridge crap forever if we want.
6 dislikes from people that didn't learn to fly.
Let's play some Jag! 😎
Amazing soundtrack, Sent here from AVGN.
+Duke Nukem The Jag episode season 4 right? :P
Same here! Seen AVGN and looked for the awesome score! ^^
Me Too!
Same
Evreyone was even I was
Amazing how video games produce some of the best music ever
Turoki Chicken It's obvious. Even sone of the most obscure games have amazing soundtracks also.
yea this ost is killer
Robotron, DKC, Top Gear 2, KI and Contra III would be my favorites, pure 90's power!
I loved this game CD because track 1 was the game data and 2+ were playable on a normal CD player
listen to Einhander
yes, also AVGN brought me here to this superb and unexpected sound experience! Thank you James! 😁😁😁
AVGN THANKS
NayNay⚡️ right?!
NayNay⚡️ thanks so much avgn for you to listen to it to tell us that is a dope ass cd lol
Ahhhhhh, love that oldschool hardcore sound!
It's a whole lot better than the dubstep shit we're stuck with nowadays.
One of the finest Techno soundtrack to a game series EVER. One of my all time Albums and games. (Tempest X3/2000)
Feels kinda like a rave at the Haçienda in the 90's. Love it!
Say what you want about the jaguar (or if you want to be cool, you say jag), but this is one of the best soundtracks of all time.
Sad thing is... This is from the Saturn version
@@deevbunnyan3742 Not really, this soundtrack was used into saturn port (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempest_2000)
@@jannicandreis9652 That's what I said
@@deevbunnyan3742 The CD was made from the original Jaguar version, plus a couple tracks and was used on all non-Jag versions, not just Saturn. It was all originally composed in Amiga MOD format, which sounds about right honestly.
The Jag version of the game came out in 94, then the PC version in 95 and Saturn and PlayStation in 96.
This soundtrack needs an extended version.
Best game soundtrack EVER!
Definitely in the top 10.
All these years layer I will randomly say "Player!" to my sister. Her reply is "Is this the right thing to do?"
Symphony Of The Night
I have an imported Saturn and thought the Japanese SOTN would be the best hands down, but no, Tempest2K FTW.
I've seen this on AVGN thousands of times and it finally brought me here !!!!
I was actually surprised what a decent job they did converting this music to MOD files to fit on the game cartridge.
Is T2K better than TX3? (PSX remake of a remake of a arcade game lmfao)
The music was written in Pro Tracker on the Amiga first, then redone for the cd version afterwards.
@theobserver4214 May be a little late lol. TX3 has both the improved cd ost as well as the jaguar ost (accessible via secret code input). TX3 keeps most of the gameplay intact. I don't remember, though, TX3's movement might have not been as tight as the jaguar's. There's more trippy effects, although it is possible to unlock the original Tempest 2000 in TX3. Also, if you get tired of listening to one song if you're stuck on a certain stage, TX3 offers the option to randomize the music order
Avgn sent me here, but let's give note to this awesome soundtrack!! One of the Original Gangster soundtracks of the video game world!
This contains some samples that were also sampled in Ridge Racer (1993)!
great soundtrack, i have this on original cd soundtrack when i got it back in the early 1990's when i got the jaguar and jag cd-rom.
Me too, and I rebuy it alone on ebay after the original fall apart after too many plays ^^'
15:31 The song "Burn Yourself" from "DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou" uses this sample sound, thought it was really cool hearing it used here too.
Mind's Eye is my jam
Keep up the awesome uploads! I freaking love this channel!
Oh, remeber playing this with a friend of mine in the 90s.
Loved it - especially the OST!
Been thinking about this soundtrack off and on for decades. Thanks!
where did you learn to fly?
Nielflash Flaymours WHERE DID YOU LEARN TO BE AN ASSHOLE?!
GoOd LuCk.
Wrong game.
@@ConorDaRobin wow you think he didn’t know that
Where did you learn to be an asshole? - AVGN
I'm so glad I found this! I used to listen to it when it came out. Interestingly my music CD player played the music directly from the game CD. What a nostalgia!
Game CD? I'm only aware of the game being released on cartridge.
@@ScrapKing73 www.discogs.com/Various-Tempest-2000-The-Soundtrack/release/1438185
@@ScrapKing73 its common for some OSTs to be released on CD
This was the only PC game I had with real audio CD tracks, back in the day. I used to rock this while delivering pizza. Beep beep!
I think this guy was saying that if you put in the actual game CD that that was required to play the game on the PC CD-ROM, and you took that CD and put it in your music CD player, sometimes I feel like the CD was partitioned with the audio tracks and you could actually listen to them that way. I feel like I did this when I was a kid too, now that I'm thinking about it.
Thanks for the upload!
killer soundtrack whoever uploaded this is a great person, i remember playing jag and jag cd many years ago when i was a child and really liked the games, such as alien v. predator, doom, iron soldier cybermorph, battlemorph, etc. this was a under-rated system, i wish atari could have had some significant games that were similar to ps1 and other popular games of the era.
Wow. I just got the Jag and Tempest 2K in, and this is still the best, good job!
These are some class tracks.
Only ever heard the Jag version of this soundtrack, the CD version is a real treat.
Wow, that soundtrack really is amazing.
I remember this game, killer soundtrack!
sounds like a kickass merge of goa trance, hardcore techno and jungle
4:04 best thing about the whole game
Thanks AVGN recommending this soundtrack.
Best game on the Jaguar, and 90s trance/techno in one game, what more can ya want! OOof!
Sent here, by memories of having a Jaguar myself in 1996. It was also my first console I ever had too.
+Tanor Faux never owned this, but I would like to play that someday
+AngeLeo CorroDead You could try and pick up one up or get TX3 with a PS1
Awesome!!!
This soundtrack is very well made
Feels like what would've happened if you got the early days of the Prodigy to make a video game soundtrack.
Bangin' soundtrack.
Such a varied and great soundtrack. I swear, when Glide Control hit I thought I put in a JRPG soundtrack out of the blue without realizing it
DAMN this goes hard
Thank you AVGN
This soundtrack was nothing short of incredible
excellent soundtrack .. I still have the CD i've bought to Atari at the time !!
Totally kick ass soundtrack, always known tempest was meant to have good music but I've only just heard it now in 2017
T2K sound like 2007 north france/belgian club music, really ahead of the time.
The greatest game on a shitty console with a kick ass soundtrack
I'm lit af and this is great thanks avgn
Yay, I'm the 100th viewer! ... Ahem. Thanks for uploading! Reminds me of AVGN..... Wonder how his movie is going. Thanks! I'll go ferret this to my collection......
great !
Holy nostalgia
I actually got a copy of this from the Llamasoft guys during their USA release tour which I still have somewhere. I think I got a shirt too but that's long gone.
Best soundtrack and addictive game!
T2K sounds like a long lost 2 Unlimited song! :D
This video game has almost the same sounds sample library that was used in Namco's early Ridge Racer games. Mainly on the theme "Future Tense". Interesting!!!
Now this is some kickass techno! Its great like the Impossible Game soundtrack
Yeah, the most 90s soundtrack for a video game I can imagine. Was waiting for someone to yell mortal kombat during the opening track.
came from the fucking nerd! some sick tracks on here! thanks so much for the upload!™
this game was amazing. couldn't say that about allot of atari jaguar games. but this one did kick ass.
5:03 yeahhhh :)
JagdActor1 AVGN confirmed
Still play this OST at work, got some strange looks at first.😉
that last track
WHY IS THE MUSIC SO FUCKING AWESOME?
This soundtrack is pure 90s dance.
kickass music
BEST SOUNDTRACK IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD
With the exception of Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on the PS1...
Hey don't forget the Impossible Game soundtrack! Now that's some kickass techno too!

Best thing to come from the Atari Jaguar
OMG! THis is from a video game. Sounds like a DJ or a real Industrial band made this.....amazing.
great music
I love it never played it
Theres mobile version called cyclone 2000.You are welcome
Vojin gamer cool thanks.
katie campbell np
@@Vojingamer does it still exist? I can’t find it on the App Store
When you want to set up a disco room but you only have a primitive sound chip for the music.
I imagine in my car a jag on my back seat hooked to an amp and my dashboard car stereo and playing this game music from the unit itself
I think that we all came here because AVGN sent us. And no one did negate it, because it's freaking awesome.
Holy shit do I miss the Jaguar, so excited for the new Tempest.
Thermal Tempest has THE best opening to nearly any song around today. Reminds me of Black Mesa, now that I think about it...
atari yeah!!! :D
I hear Mind's Eye and Hyper Prism when i played Tempest 4000.
The original soundtrack has made it on to every version to date, so well spotted.
How can a soundtrack be this fucking awesome?
The 90's that's why.
"Why is the soundtrack so fucking awesome?"
THIS WAS TOO 90S FOR ME 😩 COULDNT HANDLE IT 😩
you get your ass back in the club right this second
Well the game was released in 94 so bang on for its time.
Respect to Kindle et al!
Be well, friend.
*1999*
God damn, that's the year i was born.
an happy - DOKTOR! - 1994
2000 Dub is sooooooo goooooooood!
AVGN brought me here
ME Too!! :)
ME 3!!! ;)
Songs sound like the hundreds of music mods I collected in the 90s and early 2000s, though not as good. Future Crew was the best as music mods.
Why does this sound so much like my music o_o
I fucking love this. Found it far too late.
I played the game it kind of made me sick to my stomach with the flashing lights but I loved the music
this soundtrack is off its head
There should be a soundtrack on Tempest 3000 too.
64 bit music
More like 32+32 bit
AVGN made me curios to check out the Tempest soundtrack 😀
There's a new Tempest game coming out on the new Atari console. It has the old soundtrack
AVGN send me here
Ive got 2 Jags, and you'll have to pry them out of my dead cold hands from my casket...
90s AF
Atari Jaguar !
In my top ten games of all time. Do yourself a favor, find a Jaguar and tempest along with a rotary controller built specifically for Tempest on ebay. It's worth it, trust me.
If you play this CD in the Jaguar CD, it will trigger effects in the VLM not available with other CDs.
Wow never knew that, still have all the jag kit up in my attic space, maybe get it out give it a go?
it looks like a mix between a rhythm game and a space shooter
Can I use some of these songs In a video?
This almost sounds like Juno Reactor are any of these from them?
Funny coincidence! I was just listening to Juno Reactor these days and yeah, this sounds a bit like them
