every single riff is SICK AS FUCK. If you don't agree, then you don't have BOOST POWER.
You're way out in front!
YOU GOT BOOST POWER!
I'm going to base my life off of this comment now.
Don’t sleep on the drums tho. Those are some massive bass kicks.
Anyone who disagrees better "WATCH YOUR BACK!"
*We got boost power!!!*
+boilingaction Too bad! you lost your machine!!
+ramon vasquez alright! 1st place!!!
+boilingaction WATCH YOUR BACK!
+Arrowdance lmaooo I finally got to play this game for the first time about 2 weeks ago and I think is awesome
Gotta scream that when you're on a highway! :D

I'm a 36 years old gamer, and I consider this ost to be the greatest to date.
Same age ,same thoughts bro
@@phantomblack5307 37 here lol
Agree, for the ones who like rock - metal - guitar, this OST is IMMORTAL. 🎸
I am 13 I work out to these songs they fill you with adrenaline!!!
Gran turismo 2 and Hitman 2 were very good.
FACTS
this game's soundtrack is the reason i became a metalhead
FUCK YEAH
same
this game openminded me has teenagers on this music style.
this and guilty gear for me
tho id call the genre J rock heavily influenced by western hard rock and slightly metal. So melodic.
Imagine...an F-Zero X themed rollecoaster...with this running in the background...
I kind of think of the Intimidator from Carowinds..
Fuck that. Make go karts as fast as F-Zero machines, and make it commercially available for everyone, with this music pumping out of the things. I'd partake in it endlessly.
Oh god I want this so much. That would be so cool. And with a VR helmet on so it feels like you're on the F Zero track. Imagine being on a rollercoaster going upside down with a vr headset that makes it look like you're in one of those corkscrew tunnel levels. A lot of people would feel sick, but man, for the rest of us it would be awesome!
Worth it
Yeah, and it being an hour long for 1. Going to each track
2. Playing the full ost
3. Give you the full experience
And
4. *_L U D I C R O U S S P E E D_*
(Props if you get the reference)
Why can't Nintendo be this now? Miyamoto talked about going back to the hardcore market. TIME TO STEP UP AND BRING US SOME NON-TECHNO HARDCORE F-ZERO RACING!!! FZERO IS METAL!
you're so fucking right
The F-Zero soundtrack should all be done by different metal bands like Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, and other really awesome bands. They need to be mostly instrumental though. And epic.
hell yeah. lets call miyamoto
Just imagine If Nintendo launches an F-Zero tittle with remakes of the F-Zero X ost's . . . i can almost guarantee it would be a master piece. just like F-Z X.
YES!
Give it the feel of GX and the music of X
Saturday mornings in the late 90s....A heaping bowl of Lucky Charms, followed by the 10:30 a.m. episode of Pokemon on Kids WB! followed by a sugar-rush induced 3 hour marathon of this game until my eyes fell out of their sockets....I miss the middle-school years.
Damn. What I would do for a life like that...
tachikoma747 Did you ever watch the F-Zero anime? Or was that after your time, lol
tachikoma747 nice meme
NASCARFAN160 lol yes I did.
tachikoma747 And Dragon Ball Z ? ^^
I always hear the beeping "low energy" alarm when I listen to this, that sound is burned into my brain
Timeyy lol been there
same
I feel so tempted to download all of these soundtracks onto my iPod and play them while I drive. Only thing is, is that I'd probably have "YOU GOT BOOST POWER!" moments every now and then, and push my car to the limit. When the cops are chasing me down, "YEAH! YOU'RE WAY UP IN FRONT!"
Clearly the solution is to this problem is to get an actual F-Zero race vehicle.
or a helicopter with ramjets.
Lolololol
I just died laughing at this comment, yrs later at 4 something in the morning...cuz I can see me doing the exact same thing! 🤣🤣Wherever you are....Thanks for the super giggles! lol
8 years and still making people laugh lol

Narrator to 2017: *YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY*
there are thousands of ways to go, right and wrong is merely 2 of them :-) He might be on the right track if he has an unorthodox mind, no? Or do you disagree with your own too? I sometimes also make a show called "my mind can think im awesome when in fact im just little me".
Nintendo has to bring this game back, Fzero was incredible and now the ONLY recognition it gets is captian falcon in SSB. its really lame.
+Gab Chan This wasn't the last Fzero game.
I meant as in nowadays. I know that wasnt the last one dude, i own GX lmao.
+Gab Chan Have you tried Fast Racing Neo on the Wii U? It's close to an F-Zero game and fills my hunger for a new F-Zero game pretty good.
Smash bros is where characters go to die.
would Sega even want to make it though?
Fucking hell, listening to this soundtrack makes doing everything 100x cooler
even the dishes, im rocking my forks and plates
This is on my gym playlist. (no cardio)
I feel a rush when I listen to these sound tracks
This game is amazing. It was a rush of adrenaline I never knew existed. The music just always giving a feeling of flight, speed. This game is a game I love. Junior high. The N64. The feeling of that controller while taking tight turns, knowing that graphics were the shit back then. This game was and still is something I love still very much. Great games. Oh so great! Yes! Yes!
Yes.
It's a god damn INJUSTICE that we've not had a new game in over 20 years.
YEAH, FINAL LAP!
stawksop you got boost power! :)
boilingaction finish! Alright! You got first place!
stawksop good times :’)
You can tell a lot of work was put into this game and the people who made it were very passionate, I appreciate that
YOU GOT BOOST POWER!!
ive always heard YOU'VE GOT BOOST POWER!
I heard YOU GOT MOOSE POWER
YOU GOT JUICED FLOWER!
i heard YOU HAVE BOOSTER OK, NOW YOU CAN F*CK THE LEADERBOARD MAN !!! PRESS "B".....
*YEAAAHHH. THE FINAL LAP*
Mario kart and wipeout are pure luck, f zero is all skill.
***** I beg to differ sir. F-Zero is simple for sure, but it's only simple if you play it simple. The game at its core is accelerating, turning, boosting, attacking. That's very simple, but consider taking into account using them all together to their fullest while maintaining control. Not so simple now eh? Simple at its core, but becomes less simple the better you get at it. Then the advanced techniques which combine them, Momentum Turbo Slide, Momentum Throttle, Snaking, and other things of that nature. They might only be in GX, but we're talking about how mechanically interesting F-Zero has ever been of course. You could argue that they're physics exploits, and they are, but they're here to stay as mechanics in the game nonetheless. Some of the most complex maneuvers I have ever performed and still fail at to this very day. I would recommend watching CrazyGameNerd play GX and that you look in to just what is required to perform some of those tricks. Tell us it's not mechanically interesting after that.
TL;DR
F-Zero GX is mechanically more complex and interesting than any entry in the Mario Kart franchise.
I should also add that even the staff ghosts can be seen using these tricks, they may have very well been left in on purpose.
Yeah, specially in its highest difficulty, man! when you get that first place trophy, you feel you're the top of the world.
Damn right you do, bruh. That moment when you clear the finish line on PRSLS without dying is just glorious too. Don't even feel bad getting 20th on it. Getting 1st would probably mean you're really Jesus, cause that's a miracle on master.
Those two games have one major thing over F-Zero: no Rubberbanding AI that creates fake difficulty.
Mario kart invented (and patented) rubberbanding though.
I remember the first time I played this game... best day of my life.
Same ^_^ January 23, 1999!
the SNES 1994 in 1999 the N64 in 2001
The best F-Zero has ever sounded. If they do a new game, they need to go back to Metal music and sick guitar riffs. It just fits.
I fully agree, F-Zero sounded and played like pure metal. The world needs more of this
GX has a phenomenal soundtrack too, but this is probably F-Zero at its most pure sounding. And I absolutely adore how freakin' 'balls to the walls' metal this first party Nintendo game is
Definitely one of the best video game soundtracks of all time! I’m 35 now, the late 90’s were so legit!
This game had the best intro ever. The second you hit the power switch, that badass guitar lick smacks you right in the ears. I used to reset my console over and over just for that guitar!
Lol I thought I was the only one
GoreBastard how did that even come out of an N64
The moment I first heard this after buying the game I kinda knew what I signed up for and man did it NOT disappoint!
@@cherryade_xenoblade7923 F zero magic XD
It’s the equivalent of getting kicked 37 times in the crotch, it’s glorious
The first thing that you popped this sexy beast inside your N64, you were in for a kickass racing game IN THE 26th CENTURY.
Somebody needs to put a N64 with all the necessary wires in a time capsule with a single Everdrive 64 cartridge in it, and an F-Zero cartridge in it for good measure, that reads "Not to be opened until 2750."
I'll bet you 50 bucks that life, including humans, will be extinct on Earth in 2750.
No way. Human civilization has been around for twelve thousand years.
Maybe so. But I am a pessimist and see way too much short-sighted foolishness dominating the actions of our species. I wouldn't give us seven more centuries. Not at this rate. Not on this planet, at least. That's just my prediction, anyway.
You've got some impressive optimism. But perhaps you have a point. Ah, who can say what the future holds...
Dream Chaser forever!
Silence had the best track.
when electro and metal blend perfectly
Eternal Odyssey this!
We call that New German Hard.
@@yappydog8m lol that made me laugh so hard, what ridiculous name hahaha
I know this is an old comment but if you like electronic and metal, check out Seajeff's Preschtale. It's criminally underrated.
I listen to this when I mow the lawn. It makes the old ride-on-top feel easily 100X faster than it actually is!

Thank you mobile user (I’m using mobile right now)
I dont know wtf these japanese guitarists are doing but that guitar work is godly.
Would be very hard to play a cover that gives it justice. Havent seen a worthy one out there
Back then you had to use a soundfont (kind of like we do to play MIDI files) and compose the song using it, due to space constraints on the N64 since cartridges could only hold a few MB. Still they did a great job with the OST
Dream Chaser! Wow, this brings it back. Screaming along at 1600kph, trying desperately to squeeze out a small lead over my friend, without flying off the track. So fast!!
X was the best f-zero game
True. GX would have been better if they stuck to metal music. The electronic music didn't make it as intense.
Still playing this game to this day. I'll never forget being a child and being enamored with how fast each machine can travel. I dreamed of creating a ship like the black bull or the mighty gazelle. What's unique about this game is that every machine drives differently. I'm on my way to learning advanced maneuvers after beating master on every cup with multiple racers. Music is epic as heck also!
i happen to be listening to these OST's with $500 headphones up full blast. OMG this brings me back. F Zero reminds me of my father may he rest in peace
Nintendo, stop milking Mario and give us another F Zero already !!!
This game was pure METAL, in everything it did. So much style and personality went into it, that it would be a fantastic addition to this type of racing game if it somehow returned.. Fucking incredible job
This soundtrack went so hard for absolutely no reason
Holy mother of fuck... I almost forgot how great the soundtrack of F-Zero X was
Maybe the best OST
This is literally the fucking greatest video game soundtrack every created!!!!!!
Agreed.
True.
Dream Chaser is the song most likely to make me speed while driving. Such a good song.
the best soundtrack for such an old game, it was way ahead it’s time. f zero x is underrated
These guys really went full on Power Metal here. This soundtrack is pretty amazing
The car select theme is fucking awesome!
SeñorCalax Yeah, but I'm still trying to understand the fucking lyrics. They are uttered so poorly that it is a bitch to find out what is said.
That trudge though! Lol one of the best in the whole OST
+SeñorCalax
yooo, it was heavy as fuck when i was 6. its still heavy now!
sounds like Final Fantasy 10 Otherworld
The best F-Zero soundtrack hands down.
Besides the obvious bangers some tracks on this album are legit. 12:23 starts slaying and I don't think this gets enough credit. There is some serious extreme metal influence here and the world must know \m/
Actually it is a lot like Heartwork from Carcass 🔥🔥🔥
Gives me chills just thinking of how awesome this game really was. Thank god I grew up with it.
Probably the most epic and memorable soundtrack Nintendo has ever put out for me. :')
F-Zero X is the one and only racing game I will ever play. Mostly because I don't own any of the other F-Zero games.
Couldn't describe F-ZERO GX better lol
"The dark souls of racing games"
GX may be incredibly difficult, but Maximum Velocity is downright sadistic.
F-Zero X was the best, in my opinion. That said, I've not played all of them. Only X and GX.
"Devil's Call in Your Heart" intro sounds so much like Carcass - Heartwork
lol
thats awesome.. I got up went to the grocery store listening to some carcass
when I got home I got the sudden urge to listen to f-zero ost xD
its not even funny or casual, it does sounds exactly as DOOM made some sound-a-like metallica and others... nice one!
+Elias Mina true
tranglomango mate, may i ask something? Im preproducing this youtube channel. the main plot is video game/anime/oldcartoon songs, but in a particularly technical death metalish super shred vibe, like big blue goes fucking speed power metal and so... any thoughs? ive already got all music wise, but any song suggestion?¿
"Drivin' Through on Max" intro sounds like Rage - Soundchaser
Awww mann after hearing this soundtrack again, it beats Fzero GX by a lot.
This OST is so fucking AWESOME! I miss this saga so bad!
Reading up on F Zero X for an assignment, and I can't believe so many critics panned this soundtrack when the game came out! I love this soundtrack, one of my favourite game soundtracks of all time. Critics didn't know what they were talking about xP
I was around 12 when I was gifted a N64 with tons of games. F-Zero X was one of them. It introduced me to great metal, awesome art and amazing gameplay which was highly addictive. I so wish for a new Fzero with a more metal soundtrack again. This still is the holy grail of futuristic racing games.
You said it, F-Zero should come back with a hard metal soundtrack again. No F-Zero game has a bad soundtrack, but nothing beats the head banging pedal to the metal action that X's soundtrack brings to the table.
"Dad, why is my brother's name Monster Truck?"
"Well, your mother and I agreed that she would name your brother with what she thinks is the coolest thing in the world, and that I would do the same with you".
"Oh, OK. Thanks, dad".
"You're welcome, Full F-Zero X OST".
Nintendo, please make an F-Zero NX! That would be a reason to buy your new console :'c
FZERO NX sounds like a fantastic title, pitch it to them if you can.
Sad :'v
If they really had made F-Zero for the Switch (which they most certainly won't, I heard) I would buy the console. (Also because the next Pokémon Gen will come out there most likely)

New games need to have OST this amazing. I would love a new F-Zero for switch.
fully agree, but i don't think it will happen anytime soon.. I mean, i think they tried fast racing with Mario Kart 200cc, and it doesn't get nearly as much engagement as the traditional lower cc they've got
Nintendo, for the love of GOD, make a new F-Zero already! What's the fucking hold-up?!
Maybe we get a new F-Zero made by Retro Studios.
Who knows? If we're lucky enough, we might get a new one on the Switch.
The hope dies last. I really hope it too, but already two whole generations without another entry :/ The only tiny fact to base my hope on is that C. Falcon and a demo of the original are in Smash Bros.

Lol
To this day I still wonder what that voice is saying in "Devil's Call In Your Heart."
PS: Falcon PUUUUNCH!
I'm not sad anymore
15:10 To me this is the best part of the whole soundtrack. F-Zero does an amazing job of matching up the music with what is happening on the track. This is why you never pause!
Play this in the background at about a quarter volume while watching other videos (without music in them obviously!) to increase the quality of those videos by 500%. Trust me.
this was my favorite game on N64 growing up. the soundtrack just rips! my face is melting!
Wonder how the soundtrack was able to fit in a N64 cartridge
This game has the best version of Big Blue hands down. I can't get enough of those drums!!
F-Zero X music absolutely fuckin rocked, im not even a rocker either just really awesome music which captured the vibe of each course you raced on.
Felt depressed all day and then started randomly humming F zero music... Now im here. And im kicking the rest of my days ass.
YOU GOT BOOST POWER
This music is better than 90% of any rock or metal band.
The big blue theme, is fucking awesome!
It never ceases to amaze me how many high quality distortion guitar samples they managed to fit onto one single cartridge.
ARRRRRRRGH! THAT FUCKING TITLE THEME! LOVE IT SO MUCH!
Why is this soundtrack so fucking awesome?
This shit make me cry 🥲
F-ZERO SWITCH PLEASE NINTENDO
"Woooooooooaaaahhhhh!! you're way out in front!!!"
why dont they make badass soundtracks like this anymore?

Me: How the hell are they going to surpass the OST on this?!
Nintendo: Hold my beer... *Metal Intensifies*
*metal deintensifies and doesn’t come back for 10+ years*
@@yamellbianchi yeah... I guess that's why we are here.
True
@@gfmol845 exactly it’s called nostalgia
40:57 if you really want that Nostalgic kick in the Heart lol
best racing game ever!
soundtrack is amazing and the electric guitar arrangement is amazing.
always hear 'wow! your way out in front' when I hear this.
Is this secretly just a compilation of Iron Maiden solos?
Iron Maiden isn't thrash metal, the majority of this game's OST is thrash so its more in the lines of Slayer, Megadeth etc
25 years ago this game was the best speed racer !! Killer soundtrack and speeds up to 1500 if not more. I’m a huge race gamer because of this !!! Excellent game!!
Such an excellent soundtrack. GX had quite the amount of improvements, but this is where the musical soul is the strongest. So many memorable pieces - even after such a long time!
the first 60 FPS game
+wally castagnir Well, 3D game anyway, if so. (Believe it or not, pretty much all 2D based hardware runs at 60fps, as rendering the graphics always takes the same amount of time.) It's pathetic how even today some games aren't at 60fps because so many developers give resolution priority over framerate. 720p vs. 1080p hardly makes a difference from a reasonable viewing distance, but framerate always will. Of course, I'm a little bias because I'm nearsighted...

well i call such games without 60 fps x box one games
serioulsy i do not understandwhy the wiiu can but the x box not
and i totally agree with you
wally castagnir Many Xbox One games also run at a higher resolution though, being either 900p (which no monitor ever even used) or 1080p at 30fps. Additionally, they often have more crap going on simultaneously. However, I believe that in this day and age, 60fps should almost always take priority, especially in something like a racing or a fighting game. F-Zero X sacrificed visual detail (the opposite of what is commonly done on the Xbox One) to run at 60fps, but it was definitely the better option. I actually rather like how the only real things onscreen are the vehicles and the racetrack from an aesthetic standpoint, as it doesn't look cluttered and distracting like F-Zero GX can with the more elaborate backgrounds. Basically, with games, the factors affecting framerate are resolution and how much stuff is going on onscreen. Almost all N64 games run at the same resolution (320p) so the only factor was how much stuff is going on, which is not that much. I'd say what is there looks nice though for the time. (The vehicle models are pretty good, especially considering there are 30 of them.)

you know what i always say
"graphics are for noobs"
f zero x proofed it .
the frames per second are more important to have fun in a game
i hatedit in samurai warrios 3 that it only run at 30 fps but had good graphics for tehe wii
it was so damn slow
What about Dark Rift?
COP: Do you know how fast you were going?
ME: *turns up stereo and looks at cop with eye brow raised"
COP: Have a nice day, sir.
ME: XD
The cop cought up to you, so he should´ve arrested you for going to slow.
XD
This game is the reason I have ADHD
I know why you are here, to listen to one of the best soundtracks of all time, but also because you are looking for that sound boost power that motivates you. I hope you all have a great life, achieve your goals, that muscular body and fitness, that job that makes you rich and happy, the best version of yourself, real and true love, a great family, and true friends to share, this life, which sometimes has tight curves (difficult times where it seems that everything will go to hell) but you must persist and use music like this to get that boost power and win in the race of life.
Dream chaser.
F-Zero is the best racing game of all time.
Wow i loved this game so much❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It touch my heart even after almost 20 years crazy my friend. Such a cool game
even game over sounds awesome in this game ^^
the 94 dislikes are mario kart players who are salty that they never got to experience the speed or music of fzero
Its been ten years since I've heard the first song. I almost cried when I heard it again.
2 people had a car crash while listening this.
This OST is so fucking awesome... I have thrills, especially at the end as I could heard the sound of the car... Just close your eyes and imagine that you are Captain Falcon, Samourai Goroh, Mighty Gazelle... Launched at 1100 km/h on a winding track and try to boost the ship until your life bar almost vanished...
If you are here, wel done, you got a great taste in music.
what is this? midi? not even guitar pro sounds as a good as this and also the sound quality in this video is really great compared to what i hear directly from the game
90% of n64 games use midi so it would seem it would be
Greatest racing game soundtrack ever. By a huge margin.
This is like.. really heavy. Probably why I listen to metal/punk with knowing why, is cus of awesome soundtracks like this.
YOU'VE GOT BOOST POWER!
