    Isn't it funny...?
I sometimes forget which cards were newely added by this project and which were made by EA Phenomic. This illustrates the well done work you did in the last months and years. Thank you! The cards feel like they were always part of the game!

I agree, and at the same time, I absolutely don't.
Balancing and fairplay are game killers.
They must be a concern, they must be part of the reflexion, but never the main axis, the core concepts.
They only orient the gameplay to the PvP playerbase, which is a volatile playebase, because they mainly don't care about the story, the universe, the game's soul, identity and character but the gameplay features that concerns them, which is fair.
You play the way you play because you like it, and thus you like what's well done about it.
So if you want to do something fancy, epic, unfair but fun and compatible with PvP, you just can't.
Every RTSs I know that completely focused on PvP slowly and surely lost personality, and fell to the status-quo of never implementing crazy fun and new ideas, never risking anything because it had to mainly respond to Balancing and fairplay.
And whilst the PvP playerbase grown bored or hs been attracted by new entries, the PvE one that is generally more invested, because caring about the Lore, the identity, the soul, the writing, the graphics ends up being forgotten when they mostly are the ones that'll play till the end.
(Sorry if oversimplified, I didn't want to write an essay, and I don't yet have all the required vocabulary for such a thing, I'm still French ^^)
Then, what to do, have two separated modes/games ? Reach a common-ground ?
I don't have the answer, I'm going to apply one answer on my own video-game for sure, but I firmly think that "Balancing and Fairplay cannot be the only answer given when talking about implementing potentially overpowered, epic, crazy, exotic features.
These are my simplified biased thoughts.
