I'd love to see a flat QD OLED on 27inch size with Heatsink attached on for high brightness and long time uses. To prevent burn in it should cleverly implement tricks of software and systems. And to reduce that color fringing on texts it really have to be 4K for smaller pixel pitch. And high refresh rate is also important for a display for multipurpose, like having 4k 120 and 2k 240hz settings to cope that. Also I would love it having a TV chip to have some features for content watching, like reduce jadder and some motion and color tweaks. It would be just my dream. And cherry on the top would be it is actually flexible/bendable like Corsair Xenon Flex.

I'd like Asus more only because of that heatsink and having an extra threshold of brightness. But I can see that Asus is being non apologetic towards using it as a tv or for console, while lg is definitely having Hdmi 2.1 for more room. Another thing is quite interesting to think about that we can't see any QD-OLED monitor is flat 27inch or High refresh rate monitor. But these WOLED monitors are targeting that market of gamers who want both high brightness OLED but flat and smaller sized.

I used to have sensitive eyes. I don't anymore.
      Why?
Diet maybe. Try eliminating vegetables and reducing wheat.
Eat more beef, cheese, real butter!
That's speculative advice but I have no other explanation.
And cut the seed oils of course.
I'm 39 yrs old now, used to have watering eyes a lot.. esp. in the evening.
That was 5+ years ago. I stopped having dried eyes after dietary changes.
Consider the possibility that you may have some deficiency causing increased light sensitivity.
Also, make sure to increase your room's humidity level if it's below 40%.
      I keep mine around 50%.
To me, this screen is not really bright. My eyes generally don't tire.
It's the diet for me, for sure.
I eat plenty of junk, but also get plenty of solid bioavailable nutrition, which seems to have cured all my eye problems.

Nice Review & thanks for this video... But personally, i will still wait for upcoming monitors because prices are extremely high these days. i think for OLED, 32 inches FLAT panel should be an ideal buy & worth a spend... Also, I believe after the arrival of "Mini Led", prices of OLED will be reduced within one year or maybe somewhere in 2024... I am still using 60hz 27 inches IPS obsolete panel but i want to upgrade, but this is very confusing for me to decide lol... KTC Mini-Led is the good option i am looking at but again, that's also 27 inches... KTC is providing high-quality Mini-Led at a much cheaper price & also, we do not know about the Burning Life of OLEDs... i think 2024 will be the year when more 32 inches models in mini-led will hit the markets with much cheaper rates for consumers & gamers to decide what comes into their budget...

HDMI 2.0?!?!? Why?! I believe you need 2.1 to take advantage of all of the PS5’s features like ALLM and VRR. That’s stupid that they would put a 2.0 port on what is supposed to be a top of the line gaming monitor. That’s dumb.

Hey, nice review as usual. I have the LG and am gonna Switch for the Asus next week only for the brightness. I really like my LG 27Oled but for me this monitor is too dimm compared to my LG C1 so am expecting a better brightness for the Asus as am playing FPS like Warzone on my monitor and solo games on my 55 C1 Oled and i really need more brightness for Warzone.

Warning to potential buyers! These OLED monitors are not flicker free, there is a flicker in correlation with the brightness that some may be sensitive too. Myself included.

@@LazerB. It doesn't have PWM, but it is still not flicker free. It's not a full screen on / off. It sweeps from right to left and can be seen by adjusting shutter speed on a camera. I have been waiting for months since both became available in Sweden and went through different reviewers until I decided on the Asus IPS 360 Hz over the Asus OLED because I play significantly more esport and fps oriented games than other genres, so on June 28 I made a order with that monitor and my custom computer build according to my choice of components and around 28 July I should have everything at home as long as Danish/Swedish Postnord intends to behave and hopefully not do like the American FedEx.

I find the chin of the LG more distracting and less appealing than just a 'goatee' on the asus. Also no chance to take the one without the heatsink. Brighter and less image retention, and softer on the pixels sustaining bright subjects without auto-dimming slowly turning everything dark. Heatsink FTW

I would choose the Asus. I have neither, but I’d rather pay for the better brightness given how dim OLEDs are. It’s a misfortune the Asus doesn’t have hdmi 2.1, but I sold my console, so I’ll sacrifice the port for the performance benefits over the LG.
