Very nice I have a xlt with every option u have except the fancy seats glad I don’t have to spend a arm and a leg to get these features but very nice truck!
The tailgate step is also useful for when you are exiting the bed while carrying something. Don't have to put down the item to jump off.
The more you look at it the more you see why the F-150 is the most popular truck in America and out sells any other truck. I've always been a Ford and Dodge fan. I've never been a truck person and I find myself now in a point in my life where I need a truck. I most likely will go with an F-150. It blows my mind that I'm actually saying these words right now.
Also the handle for the tailgate step is reinforced and is conveniently placed at 8 feet when flipped up to allow as a stop for 8 foot sheets of plywood or drywall. When fully loaded with those items you can flip it up and your items won't slide out and no need for straps.

G M ragged on Fords tailgate step then they go and design the most ridiculous tailgate on the market ...imagine fixing it .
Try using a GM gate with a hitch in the receiver......expensive
a better feature would be to not have the shifter taking up valuable console space (go look at the RAM)

Yea the plastic foot holes in a bumper is way better than a hideaway step.... With a handrail...😳🤣 Nevermind the fact GM didn't have anything until after Ford came out with the step.
The only people that can afford these job site features don’t use them. They have people for that. Maybe the folding console but it’s more for signing pink slips.

Probably why. Every time you redesign there's new bugs to work out. Exactly why Toyota resists complete redesigns, they just continue to do small refreshes trying to perfect the model.
