Just heard the news - today we have lost David Crosby. One of the best performers / songwriters of all time. Born in 57 it’s hard for me to explain to younger people just what he meant to people of my generation - far more than this wonderful music. RIP David - you will never be forgotten ✌️❤️

Born in 58, but way ahead of my time with music. Almost every one of my friends had older brothers who had a rocking starting in 68. 1st concert EL & P in 72. It didn't slow down until 89; We went to everything. Nazareth, Kansas, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd (the original 70's LS), Aerosmith, Roger Waters Solo tours, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Ozzie, Thin Lizzie, Rush, Kiss, ZZ Top, Frank Marino, Warren Zevon, Rolling Stones, The Who, Beach Boys, Grateful Dead, Metallica, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, The Cars, Joan Jett, Robin Trower, Johnny Lee Hooker, Roy Buchanan, Bob Weir Solo tours, Alice Cooper, Neil Young, Pat Benatar, Elton John, Head East, The Guess Who, Jefferson Airplane. Canned Heat, heart, and Iron Butterfly to name a few.I never saw these guys - C,S, & N. I regret that. Another regret is I with I saw The Bangles, ABBA, and the Go-Gos.

I'm a fan, so don't get me wrong, but no. Yes he has other great ones, but the songs on which the the Hall would be basing such an induction are "So Begins The Task" "Do For The Others" "Love The One You're With" "It Doesn't Matter" and "Change Partners" (i.e. not enough to warrant induction). Also, whereas Neil Young had songs all the way through 1992 ("Harvest Moon") on which the Hall based its induction of him, as a solo artist Stephen's window of such songs was brief (1970-72). Given his production on the first CSN album, it's a shame he didn't sober up and-in addition to his other work-become a producer. He would have been a great one.

OK, in 1967, I was 6 years old on my own in California....HAHAHAHA! Of course I wasn't on my own, but I was 6 years old living on 866 Lewis Street in Pamona California, and there was this house behind our house where a young man who played guitar, who was a big fan of current guitarists of that time, and one of them was Stephen Stills...he would also point out Stephen's ability of not only his electric guitar soloing capability, but his acoustic guitar work in Blue Bird, and how the radio would sometimes leave off the banjo verse at the end...the gist I got from that as a 6 year old child, but didn't know how to put it into words at that time, was that Stephan Stills would stretch out to use different instrumentation that would take the song through the turns and directions he wanted it to go...the young man's (gosh, he probably was just a teenage boy, really, but I was 6, so...) name is/ was John...so John, if you are still out there, thanks man...and thanks for sharing your talent with us, Stephan Stills...all four of you, David Crosby., Stephan Stills., Graham Nash., and Neil Young....you guys should put it behind and give it one more go if you physically can...it would the '60's thing to do...haha! But if you can't, I kinda get it; It's like a failed marraige...and when I see a couple break up, I'm like, "Well, I really love both of those people, but I've never had to live with either one of them, so..."

Joe Vitale! Fantastic, multi instrument musician/drummer, one of the best in the business! Started with Ted Nugent, has played for Jackson Brown, Peter Frampton, the Eagles, CSN and Young for almost 50 years, was and still is Joe Walsh's drummer for over 50 years! Also played with Dan Fogelberg, John Entwistle, and has been on thousands of studio tracks and albums and has played for just about anybody! Fantastic drummer and great human being, thanks for the autographed book Joe, awesome book as well!

@Othowd Music their early stuff, especially their first album is classic. In case you want to hear them jamming, give 4 Way Street a good listen. A really good stereo and headphones are a must for the electric half. No iPod, smartphone, etc. A good stereo is an absolute must to pick up the subtleties of their guitar work. Stills and Young really shine.

We roll our eyes and can't believe how people feel about it no. This is one of my favorite songs if it's about my grandson and his work was the I can't believe it. He's doing it it's amazing is a tough crowd will have a lot of problems with them and we're getting rolled over they're using their roughness against us and wow what a thing and I can do to it says and then you have to bare and clench your teeth. I've been there I know what he means what a great boy he is turning out to beThrym
