I highly recommend it!

My phone is 1 year old and the updates keep it feel like in the first day. When I've got the money I'm going with the Xperia 1 or I'll wait another generation or two cuz this phone does a perfect job :)

I will never buy a Sony phone. They made their phones poorly camera wise on purpose so you had to buy their camera’s for good quality photos. I guess they didn’t know there are other phone brands that use Sony camera sensors and have proved its possible to perform.
Sony and LG seem to be great phones with weak marketing. Carriers can determine brand success based on financing units by the month, and these two brands don't have strong carrier relationships worldwide. Cheers
LG is only "meh", but my only personal experience is from an LG G4 that constantly overheated (which was more a fault of the chipset instead of the manufacturer, but still). I have an H812 so there were absolutely no bootloop issues.
I have always loved Sony since the early 90s when my parents bought a big stereo with CD, tape, and receiver, plus phono record player. Also the Sony Trinitron 32 inch TV. My mom also had the 8mm Sony smart cam. I didn't know Sony made good smartphones, but if they compare with Samsung or iPhone I bet they could be the best, if they make more of us know they are out there. I hope they make a come back.

Really love sony's bold and balanced (looking) design, great build quality, beautiful natural camera colours and good support, but REALLY miss the old wider screen ratio and lightness for everyday use. I think thats why the pixels do so well?
It looks like Sony doesn't want to compete against the Chinese brands at all... But I think if you use this phone and a same price xiaomi phone will be surprised how different they are!

I'm torn between the Honor 8X or Sony Xperia 10. Its important for me to have great sound quality. The honor has a great battery but i too big, on the flip side the Sony is very easy to hold in the hand but has a smaller battery (I'm concerned that it will not last a whole day). Also the honor has microUSB instead of type C. I am going to buy one of them this days. Any ideas guys?

Dear Sony, looking at Xperia1 makes me the urge to not to buy any Samsung Flagship for awhile. After testing both, great phones but two big problems : 1) Too expensive compared to what other brands offer at this price 2) rather have the chin below the phone (even if it has the hold the selfie camera and make me reverse the phone when need it). We tend to look at 80% of the screen, and we have the fonctions on the bottom. Having the virtuals keys of fonctions or the keyboard so low, makes it impossible to reach with your thumb when you hold the phone with one hand.
Forget Carphone Warehouse etc who are charging silly money for this phone, went to O2 shop last week and paid £189.00!! This is unlimited tests and calls and 64 G internal memory and 9G of data, I think car phone came with 1g of data. Better than that, I had an iphone before this and O2 sat for an hour and moved all my pics and contacts across to my new Sony. Being an iphone my pics were stored with icloud so took a bit of doing but they got there, top service. carphone were not really interested in helping and tesco who I was previously with didnt want to know at all and were only interested if if bought another iphone. Moving my pics and contracts across was in there words "my problem" Delighted with the phone

Im using xperia t2 from 2013 until now. Its still working great and the battery life is good.

My partners daughter as activated the safe mode on the Sony experia 10
I’ve tried everything to get it turned off with no success .
Please help me with advice if possible to get the safe mode turned off

Hold power and keep holding tell it shuts off don't let go until you see the Sony logo
