I'm not sure if it was a bug or what but I was playing PTR earlier today and noticed Dogs was a 15 second CD and both dogs and Tyrant had shorter cast times. Is this a bug or intentional? I cant seem to find any information on it.
If you mean summon Felguard, absolutely before Tyrant as Tyrant increases Felguard's duration. If you use the Talent that gives boost to Tyrant by summoning other demons, I would guess Felguard gives boost to that too.
Is it? Without current tier insta cast hand of guldan, demo becomes kind of a heavy caster too like destro. I mean current tier destro can hit single target pretty hard too, if they can stand still and cast

Aff's been like this since SoD, doubt they will change anything specially since they nerfed it into the ground in Vault when it was starting to be good and we haven't had a Destro Tier since 8.3 Nyalotha with Sepulcher being a minor outlier only after Blizzard gutted Demonic Consumption. I'm sick of Demo tbh it was fun for a while but it's gotten old for me and it's always these plant and ramp style of play which is awful for a class that doesn't have good mobility to begin with.
Seems weird calling destro / demo for Forgotten Experiments while 3 aff locks dunk on you. I'm sure there was more to it but it sounded weird while watching that, lol. Stuck with demo or destro for another tier boys, how aweso.....ZZZzzzzZZZ
they've been pretty anti-dot since the start of shadowlands. Spriest dmg coming mostly from devo plague rather than dots, boomies doing most dmg with starsurge and starfall rather than dots, and ofc the travesty of aff lock ever since malefic rapture became a thing
@@stumie1699 you are not wrong here. I think they wanted to shy away from it cause all the DOT classes scaled insanely high. They need to make a choice cause it's making some specs unplayable.
I was just referring to the 4ish second window you have to begin casting the next bolt. Madness checks for damage amp upon resolution, not beginning of the cast, so technically it is a bit more restrictive. The tooltip had indeed been broken since late Beta, I reported it then.

I think before is the best option as the Felguard does boost Tyrant, but more importantly, Tyrant will extend the duration of Felguard.

Jeez warlocks are Dominating in DPS compared to other classes lmao. I think a Nerf is incoming before raid is released for Warlocks.

Base eye beam damage got nerfed hard and Aff still doesn't do anything uniquely well/better than the other specs for what is needed in this raid.
