Needs a 5% increase buff. Aff isn't as flexible as demon and destro is, when it comes to ST damage aff should be higher. I'll still play it in the first week of HC to ser how it goes. Maybe they need more OBVIOUS data.

What are you talking about? Balance sunfire is aoe, moonfire adds to two targets, stellar flare won‘t be played in aoe anymore and mushrooms do aoe as well. SPriest has Shadow Crash applying both Dots as an aoe and Aff has Vile Taint applying Agony too as well as Seed with Corruption aoe That‘s probably enough aoe dot application, isn‘t it 😄🤷🏻♂️ I think Shadow or Balance are going to be so much better than Aff. Aff is horrible because Blizzard pretty much gave up that specc after ruining it all the way into the ground.

spriest presses 1 instant button and every mob has full dots. mostly same with boomkin. affliction has to do a ton of casting just to do less than the other 2 classes
The problem is the PS cooldown time. The damage is probably close but you can‘t align it as good as VT 🤷🏻♂️ That‘s the main issue they could reduce the damage and give it a 30sec and it wouldn‘t matter what you play.
Kinda sad that only felhunter have interrupt, you basically need to use that pet or sacrifice it most of the time because of one single ability. Overrall affliction looks very boring in 10.1, it's time for buffs or a rework

That being said i have a genuine question if someone could explain, and i am sure it has valid reason for it, so for single target build he mentioned we still want pet sacrificed, so whats the point in grimoire of synergy that only affects pet damage and your damage only if you pet is dealing damage? if there is no point for that, then we want to move those two points elsewhere correct?
If you're getting a shadowpriest PI guaranteed on the 2 minute window, is it better to hold off for 10s on that vile taint so your dark glare always lines up with that PI?
Where does aff shine? In m+ or in raid? Cause I like the spec but don't know if it's worth the time I would have to put in to master it if it sucks at both

Can you have too much haste for affliction? or is it just better the more. Bcs my sims always shows me doing significantly less damage than people my ilvl range.
I personally stopped using gaze and just put the point into fel synergy. So much better than a passive "bonus" damage that hardly does anything. Useless talent the gaze is.
does anyone have an idea how much dps loss Siphon life over forever corruption and sacrolash? I think the talent is called... Well not loss but dps difference?
Because of how MR works it‘s not only the SL damage that counts to that. But because MR sadly still exists you lose a good amount. Run some sims with your character and you have the exact amount

Great video! Aff has always been my favourite lock specc, too bad that it got no love other then 2 (terrible) bosses in vault and for 2 days in 10.7.

True! They should bring back UA as spender and remove Dark Glare for something actually fitting and useful (Rapid Contagion or Reap Souls)

Really hope they can remove siphon life and let us use absolute corruption.
