The red skulls are for special attacks, such as the one I do at 7:00, although you also lose them from getting hit. I'm not sure where in the video the move you mentioned is shown, but I believe that is a different special attack that uses 2 or 3 skulls. The manual shows the full move list. www.gamesdatabase.org/Media/SYSTEM/Sega_Saturn//Manual/formated/Three_Dirty_Dwarves_-_1996_-_Sega.pdf
It was fairly good, but it would have been less frustrating if I had known from the start that you can revive your player by yourself after you get knocked out. Still, even with the ability to get back up, there is the potential for all 3 players to get hit by one attack and have to start the stage over. So I would say it's a good game but can be a little frustrating. It's easier in single player.
Those guys behind Segasoft and Appaloosa really put their hearts into the game, even with all the weird humor behind this.
Underrated classic, in my opinion.
I remember playing this game on my Saturn. Those were the days.

Those shotgun sounds seem like they came from Doom.
It's the exact same sound effect! :D
When I first heard it in this game I had to pause and audibly say "waiiiiit a second..."
It's kinda like seeing a Ralph Bakshi animation made videogame.
I love the graphical style!!!

What do those red skull indicate, and how did you that special attack where you spin another player and they do a spin attack dealing alot of damage?

How are you doing Netplay with this game? Is it emulated or on the Saturn?
It is with the emulator Mednafen, which has netplay support.
That really does look like the Bronx
Pal from staten island always called it the boogie down lol
I've never heard of this beat-em-up! Is this based on some series or something? Regardless, it looks like fun.
It's by the same mystery guy who did other cartoons at the time. You can see it's a magic version of dungeon and dragons simplify.
Well was it fun?
